life's been a mad rush n so hectic lately that i had no time to take a step back n reflect. it's ironic and sad that on today (xmas) that i'm actually free to sit down n blog bout my one month of hols. just waiitng for my aunt to finish cooking our xmas meal. and my other cousins will be coming over soon. so b4 the crowd gets ere...i shall blog.
i had alot of fun in kl. to be honest, i'm missing them so much right now. it's great and amazing that we're still close after 4 yrs of me being away in s'pore. we see one another like 3 times a yr?!? yet we just catch up on where we left off. i wonder if all these will continue to last..cus more of us are going away. already a few of us are drifting apart..it's sad...me n bee have talked about it and i guess sometimes it's best to learn to let go. some things are just beyond our control. i love conversations with bee early in the morning. we just say our thoughts n feelings without fear of judgment n we dun mind if we disagree. that morning at weng hoe's, i woke up at 9am n bee was awake too and everyone else was still sound asleep, prolly still getting over the high from previous night's drinks. and we talked over horrid tea and tomyam ( we couldn't find sugar for the tea n tomyam noodles was the only thing left we could cook)..and eewwww! i can't believe i had to clean up other ppl's vomit that night...yuck!!!! i hate the smell of vomit...
besides all the late nights and drinking sessions and silly board games and singing + guitar sessions at weng hoe's and good midnight dimsum makan and freaky night-exploring at tmn duta, i'm glad i met a bunch of great new frens (: honestly the bb guys are really a fun bunch to hang out with. although i also miss the ls guys sometimes..since we aren't really hanging out anymore. sad yah?
sometimes i feel really bad for living off wf so much at her place. oops! although i know she says she doesn't mind n it's no big deal BUT i would still feel kinda bad. thanx babe for always letting me crash ur place and driving me out and all. (: love yah. sorry if i pissed u off anytime or mafan-ed u in any way. u r a great fren. i'm gonna miss u when u fly off to uk. come back more often!

i considered staying in kl for xmas with all the persuasion from cy. offer for xmas dinner by vincent. offer to sell off my bus ticket by em. haHa it's really sweet but i already promised to return on 22nd and made other commitments. so i met my beloved sticks for lunch on 23rd since liz is off to kl on 24th. got my xmas pressies which i love. thx babes! clubbed with liz for the first time that night. we were at indochine (: then with carol, char(first time with her too), geri n baoru! i did something embarassing on the way to the club from the hotel. omg!! i can't believe i was that high. wtv man.
can't wait for liz to be back from kl for our sticks baking sessions and oc marathons. and of course our ny eve's countdown!

finally got chance to update. been busy busy busy. haha.
the road trip was awesome!! it was fun from beginning right up to the end. although it was a mad mad rush cus i had to pack up my whole hostel room in a day!!! ok fine..in a few days cus i packed in between papers. the trip itself was quite a rush cus we only had a day in each state. the night bus trip to penang was freezing cold. we (teikzhen, ngeezheng, teikleong, marita, yessica, wanxin, yunru and me) met up with yijuin and her parents at 7am in penang.had dimsum breakfast..whoo! ate so damn much and the food was delicious. after that we acted all tourist-y and visited places like the penang hill and a temple (i forgot the name). dinner was great cus i had like 3 plates of food...assam laksa, char hor fun and char kuey teow!! and we all shared satay too!!! wtf man...i ate so much for one meal..hope the fats dun go to my thighs yo. we stayed at sunway hotel and it was kinda sucky cus the freaking toilet flush doesn't work properly!!!! but it was fun nonetheless cus we had connecting doors and we just walked in and out making so much noise!! basically during the whole trip we bridged all the way..haha any free time we had, we bridged. before sleeping, between waiting for out turn to shower to during bus rides between states. (:
in ipoh we crashed teikzhen's house. his mom was super nice cus she cooked up this fantastic meal for us when we arrived. it was like 10 different dishes man!!! we also tried the infamous kai si hor fun which rocks my socks off man! yummy x100. at night the guys watched soccer so it was *yawns* for me.
on monday we were in kl and i ABSOLUTELY loved the hotel. park royal on jalan sultan ismail. we freaking got upgraded to the orchid club suites for free! (: i was so excited. we were on the 21st floor which happened to be the highest floor and the night view was awesome. damn pretty with all the city lights. anyway, i brought them shopping at sungai wang during the day and klcc for dinner. we ate at chilli's (: good food but expensive. taught them the 'pig' game haha. got some videos during the forfeit that can be used for blackmail anytime. hahaaa. omg!! have i mentioned how i love the hotel room? the bed was damn comfy. there was this control at the bedside which acts as a clock, an alarm, and can control all the light in the room! and the bathroom..whoah! there was a speaker that played watever that was on tv in the room. so u could listen to news or music when u were showering. (: ok fine enought bout the hotel.
ngeezheng's dad drove us (teikzhen, teikleong, yijuin and me) to melaka. the rest went back to s'pore. we stopped along the way at pedas for lunch..the food was great. we had like..exotic food. like..black pepper wild boar, frog legs and turtle soup. i couldn't bring myself to eat the turtle even after they told me that it was bred and not caught at sea. i kept thinking bout the turtles i saw during dives. oh yeah we had fried brinjals too and i dun eat brinjals BUT this brinjal was so good that i loved it. the first thing we did when we reached melaka was eat AGAIN. hainanese satay which is basically pork satay..chinese style. later we walked along the peranakan streets and the shops were all so quaint and interesting. i bought a pretty red fairy-like skirt (: for dinner we had wan tan mee which was f-ing delicious. the best wan tan mee ever. then right after that we had satay celup i think. yeah..by then i was too full to eat anymore. oh yeah we crashed ngeezheng's place for the night. we played monopoly (which i lost cus the guys were conspiring against me and i went to jail a thousand times) and tumbling monkeys!!! reliving our childhood basically. aihzz..there's so much more to tell but i'm lazy...so all in all the road trip was great!! more like a food trip though.
after melaka, i went back to kl. crashed wf's place until now. yeaps..i'm typing this in her room now while she's mugging for her exams this tues and thurs. hahaa. i came back just in time for cy's party in zouk. i dunno how many bottles she opened til we managed to get into the vip lounge area. it was mambo night. i love 'summer nights'. wheee (: anyway life in kl has changed my sleeping and eating schedule drastically. dunno how am i gonna change my body clock back in s'pore. almost everyday, i'll wake up at 1pm and lunch is usually at 3pm then dinner would be at 10pm and sometimes later. we'll get back home around 5am after clubbing or chilling out at a fren's place. that's my life now man. but i'm having my fun so i'm not complaining. heh.
