what to do?

i think the biggest appeal of blogging is the fact that u know it will be read by people. i think there are a lot of people who blog that otherwise wouldnt keep a diary, myself included.

but there are some things that just cant be said. so i am now venting my frustrations on not being able to vent my frustrations. suffice to say i am feeling a bit mixed up now. maybe i need a diary. hmm.

if i had a billion dollars...

ok guys need your comments and opinions here

my friends and i had a talk about hyper rich asses and their toys, specifically boats. it got me thinking, if i had practically an infinite (i dont see how u can finish $1000000000) amount of money and could buy one yacht, what would it be?

ive basically narrowed down my choices to two boats. the Sunseeker 110 and the Wally 118. i didnt go for a mega super huge boat coz i dont want them to feel like big ships. so a generous but manageable 100-odd feet would be a good size:P

so one choice is the Sunseeker 110. Their website is damn annoying coz its flash so i cant put up pics. The dont actually have many pics of the 110 but u can look at the 105 for a good idea. the pics here are out of date i think.

it isnt the largest in their range, their larger models start to become too ship-like. the yacht is a fairly conventional design, and i think would be quite versatile and a lot of fun to stay on. i particularly like the top deck with the jacuzzi and sunbed area, as well as the ability to pilot the boat from there.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
now, introducing the Wallypower 118. Undoubtly one of the coolest and most high-tech yachts available. it looks like something batman would use. it has a ridculous cruising speed of 60knots (more than double the sunseeker's max speed!) coz it is so light and has 3x 5600hp engines. carbon fiber is used extensively in its construction, like a formula 1 car.
can be used as a diving platform!
anyways the reason i may not choose this that it doesnt feel as cosy as the sunseeker. its got this hightec minimalist design which might make it slightly cold. one can imagine a group of friends enjoying themselves more on the sunseeker with its lounge atmosphere and sunny top deck.
so if u could have only one, which would u choose?
a sense appropriateness, sensitivity, intuition, perception, empathy and understanding are some skills that some people lack. they invariably piss you off.
but u forgive them. coz u know its not their fault. but u still feel pissed. fuck la they just wont understand. futile. just shut up and tahan. its for the best.
was damn hungry after training tonight and felt like a good steak. so instead of going home i had dinner by myself at vines again haha.
its quite an interesting feeling dining by yourself. alone time is a good time to just sit, enjoy the food and contemplate things.
the waiters must think im weird always eating alone there. either that or as kai says i have a crush on one of the waitresses. haha err no.
had a navy waterpolo team meeting at bishan today and wah lau, junction 8 has to be like the epicenter of chio bus for the whole singapore. amazing, there are like 10 schools in the area and they all converge at juntion8. need some excuse to go there more often haha;p
most pissing is rj. WHY DID THEY MOOOVVVEE!!!??? their ghim moh location was fantastic as it was, and i was always guaranteed some eye candy at the bus stops when driving home. now holland rd lies bare, and i have to endure that f***ing andres constant gloating on how he shares the bus with all the girls. its not fair...
Does it pay to be nice?
when you go out of your comfort zone for the sake of somebody else, is it reasonable to expect something back in return?
i am not talking about anything as demanding as a 'thank you', but simply the self-satisfied 'warm fuzzy' feeling that most people expect to get as a consequence of them being nice.
however i think this is only true up to a certain point. beyond that there isnt much satisfaction to being nice and you just feel exploited. there must be some truth in the saying "nice guys finish last".
that sucks because it would make people choose to be selfish pricks and care only for themselves, which incidentally happens to be the case with most ppl in the world, and thats not very nice...
(this is all inconsequential pondering and im not necessarily referring to myself, or to anyone or anything else in particular)
Papercut
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
hmm. felt like posting but didnt have anything interesting to talk about, so here i am talking about my paper cut hahaha.
its probably the worst paper cut i ever had. technically it isnt really a papercut but a 'plastic' cut, i cut myself trying to open those stupid blister pack rechargable battery packaging (stop laughing, and why are those damn plastic things so hard tear to open??).
it might have been the worse but luckily i got it in a not-so-sensitive area so didnt really bother me. anybody watch jackass? they intentionally papercut between their fingers and the corner or their mouths. ugh.
~
bought another pair of oakleys on impulse today. going sailing tmr and managed to convince myself that i needed a pair of sports sunglasses. oakley half jacket.
~
spent 2hrs yesterday changing my toilet seat to one of those with the 'spray-water-at-your-anus' feature hahahaha. my dad thinks they are damn cool so he bought one. ran into complications with the size of the mounting holes on the toilet bowl which is why it took so long. managed to drop one or two screws and such into the bowl during the process. had to wash my hand thoroughly after that.
wah lau. its 0430 and i just got back home. not from clubbing, but from more night time football and basketball with the sonnys haha. think i exhausted myself more from laughing than running around.
the ride home was quite interesting with 5 stinking, sweating boys in my small car. need to air it out tmr hah.
