For my mouth

A few weeks ago we were driving past McDonald's and Charlotte said, "I want french fries!!" (although it is so much cuter when she says it-fench fies. I said, "no, we had french fries yesterday. French Fries aren't good for our bodies, so we don't eat them every day."  Then some very wise words came from this little lady, "Not for my body...For my mouth!!" So true. So true. I eat many a delicious food for my mouth and most definitely NOT my body.  These little peanut cookies are like diabetes in dessert form and so yummy. You're welcome. (I copied this from tastykitchen.com...I originally got the recipe from another friend, but I never took a picture of it).

Recipe Description

If you like the SALTY & SWEET combo…try these! For some reason this is a hit with the men. At a potluck they usually grab for these instead of a chocolate brownie.

Preparation Instructions

Combine cake mix, 1/4 cup of the melted butter and egg in a bowl. It will be a little lumpy & dry, this is okay. Press into a 9 x 13 in pan.Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes (until very LIGHTLY browned).
Sprinkle mini marshmallows evenly over baked cake layer. Return to oven for about 3-4 minutes (watch carefully).
While marshmallows are melting in oven: In a medium sized sauce pan, melt peanut butter chips, corn syrup, 1/2 cup of the butter & vanilla over low heat. After all is melted, add the peanuts then the Rice Krispies and mix together.
Immediately spread or drop large spoonfuls onto marshmallows.
Chill pan briefly and cut into bars. You can chill for a few hours if you prefer, only problem is it’s hard to cut.
Cut into smaller bars because these are Rich!
