My favourite would have to be War & Beauty & Into Thin Air~ The W Files is nice, but, there are some parts in the middle that's draggy, To Get Unstuck In Time is good, for the first half, but the second half gets a bit draggy.. Unlike War & Beauty, every part is so unexpected, and Into Thin Air is another one made up of small stories in which I like.. Hahaha... Happy 2006!

Movies Review

Decided to have another review; movie reviews of all the movies I've viewed this past year~

I think Son of the Mask is the most waste money movie of the year... I think the funniest this year is Miss Congenality 2... I think the most sweet one should be Just Like Heaven... And my favourite this year would have to be a tie between The Island & Mr & Mrs Smith~ I think the storyline & the character of the 2 shows are fantastic! haha...

My only regret this year would have to be not watching Constantine... I heard it's good too! Maybe I'll rent it some other day.. hahaha... hmm..

I'm awaiting for Pirates of the Carribean (got Keira Knightley, Johhny Depp), X-Men 3 ( Cyclops aka James Marsden) and Da Vinci Code (Robert Langdon) movies next year...

I was packing my stuff... Sometimes, you know you would not be able to use that stuff ever again but you just have / want to keep it.. So, basically, don't really have to tidy, because almost everything you can't bear to throw away.. No point right? Hhahaa.. But some things are really collecting dust, and I've cleaned that up... Hahaha.. Quite neat now, my table.. Hahaha... And my VCDs are really piling up, need to clear out some more space, some tapes will have to make their way to the bin... Hmmmm....

Tomorrow is the last day of 2005! Hope everyone will be happy~

Blue

Year End review...

I decided to do a year end review cum summary of my life in 2005~

It all started at a countdown party at Mac's house, when we ushered into the new 2005~ Had alot of fun there, and looking forward to the countdown 2006!

January: Took up tuitioning, and at the same time, work at some computer company as a call out person.. Also, remembered those nightmares I had when I was watching "Mystic Files"... And oh yeah, got to know Alice while working as well... Met Chew Chor Meng, Zeng Guo Cheng, Michelle Chong & Jeff Wang in Parkway, as they were fliming a show~ Nice of them to oblige taking photos with me~~~ And then, there was Jo & SR's birthday celebration at Suntec, dedications were made~ And, by right, my work should end in the month of January, however, it dragged till June, for some reasons~ That's the main happenings in January...

February: And Chinese New Year came, and LY & I completed a 1000 pieces jigsaw puzzle for YB's birthday present within 8 hours, she left around 6am, I think, so as to catch first bus~ And, I kept complaining my old PC was giving me the low disk space problem... And also, my first ever bunking over at Jo's hall after many failed planned attempts... And, in this month, I accepted another tutee~ And, got to know a great place, Lighthouse~

March: In march, I started the 'mummy' nick for Huixin~ And 'unpure' nick for Jo.. Hahaha.. And, we celebrated mummy Huixin's birthday at Jo's hall~ My second buck over as well.. It was meant to be a surprise but due to some reasons, something didn't quite work out as we planned.. Also at the same day, I got to know my exam results... And, I changed my blog over here, to blogspot... Zebin lended me "The W Files", which also propelled my Hong Kong drama serials chasing one after another show... Had a belated birthday celebration for Gwennie at Lighthouse... And finally, after some thoughts, decided to register at my current school~

April: Happy because Channel U aired "Golden Faith" and more Korean & Japanese Dramas~ And the content of my job changes~ Sad because of a sad news, Fifi was put to sleep... Bought Goodbye Energy Concert tickets... Celebrated Yurong's birthday at Suntec, surprised her with a DIY cake... And, finally receiving my pay after 3 months...

May: The "Big Bird" term came out when we were discussing some 21st birthdays.. Encountered different customers in my job, some really made my day, some spoilt it throughly... And not forgetting the freaking big moth that was haunting my friend and I... Ordered my new PC and it came in the same month... Very pissed with the attitude at KBox Tampines, decided to boycott it unless I don't have a choice!

June: Energy released their supposedly last album, Final Fantasy... At the same time, got 'cartooned' and some goodies from my company... Went for their autograph session.. Tribute was made for Energy, stating my encounters with them... Also, vexing over the application over my school, so much things to be done, so much fees to be paid.. And I also come out with the pamperer's contract,

10) Be understanding, ie, must understand your time is my time BUT my time is not your time~Haha...

Also, kept lamenting how my left eye twitches... And also, my last day of work, I only had half an hour break for lunch.. I should have 2 hours lor, since it was my last day at work! Hahaa...

July: Coming to July, received news about issues with health from friend... And then came, Goodbye Energy Concert... And one year anniversary that I've been blogging.. And 3 years anniversary since Energy came into the showbiz... Went for the Guiness 10,000 people Concert... Went for ZPop 2005 Concert too... Went to "Chomp Chomp" for GF's celebration...

August: Started schooling in a totally new environment.. Bad case of sore throat, that I tried,
1) Lotus root juice
2) Jin Du Pi Pa Gao
3) Watermelon Frost
4) Lozenges

And as well as got shreds of blood in my phlegm, decided to see a doctor... Superstar is heating... Got memerised by Junyang's voice.. Went to see TVB Stars, Joey, Jessics & Roger at Suntec...

September: Went for Superstar Concert by courtesy of the BuzzStop auntie... And got addicted to the Vampire 3 show... Bought my portable DVD player.. Cousin got married.. And lastly, news of Milk quitting Energy...

October: Unforgetting the cars I wanted, like Volkswagen Beetle, where I put up the pictures.. Hehe... And there was photo shoot.. The DVD of Energy Concert was out... Lastly, celebrating Wenning's birthday at Millenia Walk...

November: Went for Singapore Hits Award 2005, my earliest birthday gift this year... Saw Bryan & Kym at some hosting events, took photos with them.. Passed my Basic Theory Test... And there's TVB 38th Anniversary Award... Watched the highly anticipated flim of the year, Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire...

December: Had my first driving lesson.. And booking of the BSB Concert tickets... And my birthday celebration.. Passed my Final Theory Test.. Endless games of badminton... My new sofa arrived...

Xmas with frens

Ooh~~~ Been a couple of days since I blogged~ Hahaha... Anyway, on Christmas eve, went over to YT's house for mini celebration as well as 'room-warming'... hahaha.. She just moved house, you see... Hahaha.. Well, her new house is much neater than her previous house.. Hahaha.. I like her room's colour, purple wor.. Hahaha.. Actually wanna order Pizza for dinner but it's too overwhelming le.. Hahaha.. So we settled dinner at somewhere near her 'ulu' place.. ahahha.. Then watched something until I dozed off in her mattress around 4am... Woke up around 7.30am.. Guess I'm not used to others' place ba.. Around 9am, all of us were awake, and I watched "Last Breakthrough", straight 5 episodes I think, on an "OK" sofa... What a nice and meaningful show.. Hahaha... And I endured my hunger till 12pm when the pizza arrived! (Cause we were craving for that since we didn't have it yesterday)~~ I love drumlets from Pizza Hut! Hahaha...

Also, bought some VCDs~ Haha.. And just watched them.. Nice, touching story by Andy & Charlene & Charlie... And Andy's really sweet in the show.. Awwwww... Hahaha... Ok, that should summarise past events! Happy Boxing Day to all! And Merry Christmas~~~

Last minute Xmas Shopping~

Apart from sleeping and eating, I think my another fave activity is bathing... Everytime after taking a bath, felt so refreshed! Haha... Ok lar, side track a bit can?

Woa... Today was a squeezy day, seems like the whole Singapore was out to town! Freaks! Hahaha.. The whole City Hall was flooded with people! Everyone seems to be doing their last minute Christmas shopping... Quite alot of sales going on.. Hahaha... Went Marina Square, Orchard... Went Kino as well.. Haha.. Flooded with freaking lot people, the queues was freaking long! Was telling Huixin, why not I go and queue first and you'll join me, when you're done, and I go and browse while you keep on queuing.. Hahaha.. Of course we didn't lar! We went into the shorter queue... And Kino having 20% discount.. Hehehehe... Tempting to get the Harry's 6th Book & Da Vinci Illustration Book, as well as Angels' Illustration one.. But in the end, got something else lar.. Hahaha... By the way, I finished "Da Vinci Code" this morning.. Hahaha..

Oh, mummy Huixin got a new christian name, NIX! hahaha... if you look close enough, it's the reverse of XIN~~~ Struck upon us when we were trying out some 'rings'.. Mummy Nix, I'll give you a 'ring', anytime! ( Meaning call her lar!) Hahahahaha.. And I digged out her nickname when she was in secondary school.. Hahahahaha.. Funny!

And, mummy Huixin kept pestering me to buy her a specified Xmas gift, and she.... she 'sa jiao' lor... It kinda freaks me out.. hahaha.. first time leh.. Huixin 'sa jiao' lehz!!! CL peeps never hear before right? OMG! Hahahaaha!! Ok lar, don't say I not good, if it's really that much discount, I'll buy for you, ok? Hahaha...

Passed Final Theory

Yeah! I passed the Final Theory Test! I think by stroke of luck ba~ Cause, I was lazy (I admit), got the manual from Number One couple of weeks ago, then never did study until last night, and this morning on train going to school, and during Maths lecture~ I forgot to pack my file, so brought only a section that was used by my lecturer~ And since, that lecture she taught after the break I had learned before, so I was studying my manual most of the time, only taking time to copy some solutions... I think I need a revision badly! Then, I jokingly told mummy Huixin, I should leave after break, and she should come after break, cause she forgot to bring that section.. Hahaha...

After that, had a short lunch, and rushed to the driving centre~ Just nice, the time when I reached... My heart was thumping away... Cause when you clicked "End Test" that moment, either a PASS or a FAIL icon will appear at that instant.. Pressurised... Hahaha... But anyway, I made it, and a step nearing in obtaining my license... Hehehehe...

Oh, met Riyaz & Mingfang by chance in the bus this morning.. Hahaha.. Had a short chat...

I loved badminton! Hahaa... Had a game this morning... Yupz...

And, watching "Love Concierge" made me wanna go Japan~ Hahaha... Ok, and put up song, this time, I enabled a player so that you, the one reading/stumbling my blog can have the control of whether wanting music playing as you read on~

DVD Player

Sent my portable DVD player of less than 3 months for servicing~ This is the third week already.. Last week, they told me that they can't repair the parts, and will replace a new one for me... Right, I shall see, give them another week, if they still can't let me have a satisfied reply, I'll ask for refund!

Rent 'Hot Chick' & '50 First Dates' over the weekend.. Had a real good laugh over.. Hahaha... Watched the movies before but just wanna relieve the hilarious parts, therefore, watch it again..

Full house

Currently, watching this show, "Full House"~~ Hmmm.... Not bad, really quite not bad.. Very different and refreshing from those tear jerkers typical korean show~ Of course, before watching it, I knew it isn't that type lar, I mean, it's so obvious lor.. Hahaha...



Yar, I mentioned I like Min He from this show, that's him~ Hahaa.. I think he's far more good-looking than Rain~ Hahaha...



And, they looked compatible inside! Apart from eye candies from this show, I like it cause there's not really backstabbing going on, example the "Stairway to Heaven", the step sister always wanted to harm the main female lead, then her infamous eyes, starring people from the corner of the eye~ She doesn't have any other expressions to show that she's evil, just that eyeball trying to look from the eye corner~ Alice can do this trick perfectly well! Hahahaha...

Oh, finally collected my spectacles yesterday, and on the way, by the way, wanna get that pair of Adidas' shoes.. The price was 76 bucks~ Yar, cheaper, but no size, I think every shop left 4 and a half shoe size, tell me, how can I fit into those??? Grrrr...... I think I gave up la, unless I can find another pair I like~

Also, had an annual gathering with my primary school mates~ Went to a vegetarian restaurant, didn't know it was a vegetarian restaurant until we ordered our stuff~ Haha.. I had mushroom baked pasta, it's good, and their pizza was great as well, but not the Hot spicy Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich~ Haha.. Please don't ever order that again.. My mate who ordered that was complaining like hell.. Hahaha... And the waiting time, takes quite a bit of time as well... Hahahaha...

Then, went walk walk~ Oh, I didn't know mudpie from NYDC was so delicious!

Badminton~~~

Had a game of badminton for 2 hours today~ Great game! Hahaha... But the weather is damn so hot today, the sun was scorching like hell! Giving me headache! And I think my body is still radiating heat out now~ (Note: I didn't went out in sun to play; and it's been like 4 hours since the game ended~)

Yesterday, had driving lesson~ Stalled car a few times.. Haiz... Stupid half crutch! Can't seem to hit the 'biting point' yet! I learned the second way to start the car, then forgot the first one... Hopeless arh.. Hahaha.. Practise practise! Tried to attempt some turns on my own, not bad, not bad! But I must be more daring to turn the steering wheel~ And, to exit out fast enough so that I don't waste time waiting for the behind cars to move past me~ Quite heavy traffic yesterday~ Got so many big lorries, and those tow trucks... Hmmm...

JB trip

Went JB this morning.. Bought my new year clothes le.. Haha.. Bought quite alot of things.. But, the sales like bluff people one.. Got nice clothes but their size is left either the very small or very big.. Or, worst, left the display piece which is hung for like quite some months, thousands of people tried on, and, can see some dirty marks on the clothes.. =Shudders= Hahha... Yar...

Hmm... Found that I always wanted to blog about something, but when I actually sit down and wanna blog, I forgot what I wanted to blog actually.. Hahaha.. So I ended up nothing to blog... Anyway, currently watching the well loved "Full House"... Quite a nice starting.. Haha.. I don't prefer Rain, I prefer the other guy, Min He, in the show, real name is Jin Cheng Zhu? I don't know how to pronounce the last word.. Hahaha... I think he's so gentleman in the show.. I'm on first episode only lar.. Hahhaaha...

Well, since 12am this morning, received quite a number of birthday wishes, 'congratulating' me joining the twenties club or 20th gang~~~ Haha.. No worries, I'm just gonna stay in this club for ONE year, because from next year onwards, I'm going to coundown backward instead, so, please remember, from next year onward, I'm 19, next next year 18 and so on, until 1, then I'll start counting back again~ Yupz.. Hahahahaha.... But as I happily replying messages to thank people for my wishes & telling them this, I received this message from Mingfang...

Anyway, had lunch with the CL Peeps at Pasta Cafe~ The slipper lobster pasta is good! Hahaa.. After that, they sang the birthday song for me, I made a wish, I blew the candles, I remove the plastic coating of the cake, I cut the cake, HOWEVER, we didn't consume the cake~ Because, the policy of the restaurant: You can sing song, you can light candles, you can make wish, you can blow out the candles, you can cut the cake, but no consumption of the cake~ As strictly no consumption of outside food and drink in their premises.. What the...?!?! Will it kill them if they allow us to have a quick bite? So, we pathetically finished the cake at the staircase~ Hmmm...

Yesterday, had a game of badminton and gym session... After that, my head was throbbing very aching, pain until feel like vomiting... terrible feeling.. =( never ever had such a painful feeling before, feels like my head is gonna explode anytime... Jia lat right? So, I went to take a rest lor, but the more I sleep, the more worse it gets, so, no choice, I pop in a paracetemol to relieve since I couldn't take it anymore.. Normally, I would just endure but I really can't.... Then sleep sleep sleep.... Got better in the evening time... Strange, I can still sleep around 11pm plus plus.. So, yesterday was zzzzzz all the way lar.. Hahaha... I think next time cannot over strain my body le, especially so long never exercise that much.. Hmmmm... Today, my whole body aching..
Went to have my eyes checked by a familiar optician after school today~ He said my current spectacles doesn't match the correct degree of my short sightedness lor... My current specs is not made by him... You just have some no conscience opticians always trying to add some degree to your short sightedness even though you're not increasing yourself! So, got myself a new pair of glasses.. Hehehe..

After that, rush to my driving lesson.. Wah, I think I getting hang of it already.. Hahaha.. My third lesson today, can start the car and make it move without stalling the car, ok, one time 'die car' today.. compared to a couple of times last week, that is, first time moving the car~ =Grins proudly=.. Hahaha.. Just the steering part not confident yet, must agar agar the turn.. Haha.. Today I learn third gear liaoz.. Hahaha...

Finally, had dinner with the family for pre-celebration of yours truly day~ But I was too bloated from the Free Starbucks Coffee~ Today, Starbucks' all outlet in Singapore, from 5pm to 7pm, is giving away each person a free drink~ Hahhaa... I got my share of free drink~ Cool...

Da vinci book

Currently reading this book now, as I've finished "Angels & Demons" last night... Hmm... The starting of "Da Vinci Code" haven't pulled me strong enough into the story as what "Angels & Demons" did~ "Angels & Demons" is really a fascinating book! The mystery, the plot, all unveil at the last minute.. And the wits and bravery of the main character, Robert Langdon.. My Idol! Hahaa.. If only Brad Pitt or Ewan Mcgregor took this character, and either Angelina Jolie or Keira Knightley took the female lead.. Hmm.. I'll go 'wow'~~~ Cool~~~ Hahha... But Tom Hanks is supposedly the main lead as Robert Langdon~ Hmmmmm....

Oh by the way, please refer to the map that's in the book of "Angels & Demons" for reference as Dan Brown described in the book.. I didn't do that, so I was slightly confused when he listed some italian places... I will do that when I re-read the novel after finishing somemore books first.. Hehehe..
And should read "Angels & Demons" before "Da Vinci Code", as "Angels & Demons" came first before "Da Vinci Code"~~~

Anyway, went to Changi Airport for lunch with Weilin~ Had "Popeye".. The chicken was so nice, crispy, succulent, juicy, tender (right, you get it~)... Really finger licking good, better than KFC! And the fries.. Man! Best fries I ever had so far! Weilin like the mashed potato best... A little spices added in, very unique, very different from the usual mashed potatoes we had... Hahaha.. We realised we like to go Changi Airport for lunches.. Hahahahaa...

Driving star awards

Had mine second lesson today... I didn't expect to be on the road, holding the steering wheel, pushing the accelerator today... Holding the half crutch isn't an easy task, my legs doesn't go along with my wishes couple of times, and pressing the accelerator slightly really push the car very forward...

I think I just need to get the hang of it ba... So as to my 2 arms & 2 legs will be able to co-ordinate well... Driving ain't an easy task for beginners~~~

Anyway, just watched Star Awards... OK lar.. hahaha.. But I think Chen Han Wei should get the best actor from the "Fa Fa" character, sissy type, I still remember how funny he was, with Huang Biren in that show.. The chemistry is so good! Hahaha...

Love Concierge

New show coming soon~ Yeah! Got Thomas Ong... Hahahaha... =Shuai Ge=... I think this'll be a nice show, most of the celebs acting I like...

Got Alex To as well... Like his songs very much when I was a bit younger.. Hahaa..

Got Jacelyn Tay, Ann Kok etc... Yup.. Should be quite nice.. Looking forward to it.. Actually main reason is because of Thomas Ong lar... Hahahaa... By the way, the english title is "Love Concierge"...

On some updates on this book, I've finished 3/4 of the book above... Should be finishing next week, I believed... I was just thinking if someone have plans to make this movie into a movie, I'm 99% sure it'd be at least a M18 rating.. Hmmm... Cause this book is about brotherhood and how they argue between Science & God~ Basing on the pure description by Dan Brown, I can picture some gruesome images in my mind... Nevertheless, if this's going to be on the screen, I'll watch it! "Da Vinci Code" movie is schduled to hit the screen on 19th May 2006, maybe "Angels & Demons" in 2007?

BSB & Driving

Yeah! Finally went and got the tickets yesterday after school.. Was in a rush yesterday, and the queue wasn't long, there was 3 group of people before me, but it takes 20 minutes before I speak to the person... And the best thing, the printout of the concert wasn't even printed out yet... Anyway, I got the seats I was hoping for, hope everything will turn out alright cause I hope the sound system would be great, judging from where I sit~ The concert is on 24th Jan 2006~ =Looking forward to it=

Ok, had my first lesson on driving yesterday~ Of course I didn't start the car on my first lesson, you think I wanna have an accident meh? But should be able to drive it either in the second or third lesson... First time in the driver's seat, as in, really I'm-going-to-drive kind of mentality. As a child, of course, I always dream that I would be able to drive a car, then always take the drivers' seat of my relatives' car, with the engine switched off, then pretend to drive while turning the steering wheel... Ok, enough of that, then, my instructor explain to me the basic features that I should know... Actually all along, I thought driving was an easy task, just accelerate or brake, then maenuver the steerling wheel.. But no, there's a clutch, and must check here, check there, before embarking on..

Yup, basically, he explained the mechanics of the clutch, understand here and there.. Seriously, you don't really know how the mechanics of a computer in order to use a computer.. So, just know when need to use clutch, I think should be sufficient~

Oh, thanks to Weilin for recommending me the instructor... I'm looking forward to the next lesson... And changed blog song, cause Xmas is coming... Hahahaha...
