Rilee's Birthday

Rilee just turned 2!! wow that is crazy to me.

We had a really great day, first, they woke up with the traditional streamers on their door (I do it on both kids' door so they don't feel left out). They came out and the house was decorated and balloons all over the floor. We had an activity table with stickers and hero capes that Grandma Denise made for them. We took her to McDonald's to play and eat lunch, came home for nap time, woke up danced and got pizza(Rilee's favorite things), then it was party time. We just did grandparent's which was perfect for Rilee because she does not like big groups of people, and then we went to fireworks for pioneer day, which was great because she definitely thinks they were meant just for her.

Here are some pictures of the big day...

Here is Rilee opening some of her presents. I wish I had a better camera so I could have captured the moment better. Her facial expressions were priceless.

So I am pretty proud of this, but I wish i would have used prettier frosting for the outside but it was fun to see everyone's reaction when we cut it open.

I love the picture of Rilee hiding her face. This is when we were singing Happy Birthday to her, she was so embarrassed.

Decorations...

And fireworks.

I love you Bug!!!!!

more stuff.

So Kyson graduated from his first year of preschool. He is so freakin cute but he was not too happy about being there and having to wear the graduation gown. He did so well in preschool this last year but, he is very excited for the summer.

I thought that this was the cutest thing ever. I am always noticing the little ways Sean and Kyson are so alike, so when I went into our room, I started laughing when I saw them both laying like this.

HOLY SMOKES!!!!

Geez, where have I been? You would think life has been crazy busy or something, oh wait, it kind of has.

1st- We moved!! We built a home in an area called Treasure Valley. I love it.

2nd- Kyson had surgery, Poor kid. He got his tonsils and adenoids removed, as well as his ears tubed. The tonsil part was pretty hard on him,but he is doing great now.

3rd- We got a new puppy. Kind of bad timing with the move and all but Dayzee is worth it. She is an English bulldog and I have wanted one forever!

4th-New Car!! FJ cruiser and it is pretty fun.

5th-RILEE IS POTTY TRAINED!!!! ha ha just teasin... i wish.

6th- My mom and dad on ANOTHER mission (this makes the 5th). I am super proud of them but the missions seem to always come around when you need them most.

I know this does not sound like much, but all of this was within 3 weeks! I really don't remember anything before that.

farm, family, and fun!

Sean and I took Kyson last year to Staheli farm and he loved it so much we decided to do it again. We thought that it would be a pain with Rilee because we thought she would be really hard there, but we were wrong. Both of my kids could not have been any better or been any more excited to be there. We did so much. We went on a tractor ride to a pumpkin patch and let the kids pick out a pumpkin, we went on the cow train, slides, played with the animals, got yummy scones, and tons more. It was seriously so fun, I can't wait to do it again next year!!

What a perfect Day!!

Here is a whole lot of everything!

Wow, where do I start?? There has been a whole lot of everything going on, so I guess that I will start with the fact that it is now fall, and I absolutely love it. I don't know if it is because I have a fall birthday that I love this season so much, or if it because it gives me this warm peaceful feeling, but whatever it is I love that is here. I had a goal to do some kind of activity everyday for the Halloween/fall season. Yeah, well, it doesn't happen everyday but we have been having a fun time. We made bird snacks to hang on our tree's for the birds, made bat decoration's, we carved pumpkin's, painted pumpkin's, and then with the guts of the pumpkin's had a fun and messy pumpkin gut fight.

I had a great birthday. Sean and I had a low key day which is just what I wanted. He and the kids made me a birthday cake, and we went to a movie later which was really needed for us, nothing could have gone better. I have been really assessing my life lately and I am now 26, I am pretty dang lucky to have everything that I have. I have a great marriage with someone I have abounding love for, I have two amazing and beautiful kids, and I have a constant companionship with my Heavenly Father that gives me the strength to live each day of my life better, and the encouragement to keep going when I don't think I can. I am seriously more than blessed.

I have been seriously freaking out about Kyson going to preschool because he has never done anything with out me that requires him being around others he is not familiar with. He still bawls, or more like hyperventilates in nursery if I leave, which isn't very often because I am the teacher.

He even had been having dreams about me leaving him at the "blue store" (which is Wal-Mart) and I had no idea where this was all coming from because he had never been left anywhere.

I decided to have him do a little kids Karate class to kind of get a taste of interacting with a teacher and other kids. Well, he hated it and was being a little brat, mostly because he hated when the attention was on him. Well one day after Karate class I was really frustrated because I really didn't want to have a socially retarded child and I wanted him to not be afraid of preschool anymore, so I told him we were going to see a preschool.

Of course he was crying and was begging me not to leave him there. We got there (Barefoot Preschool) and I went and asked if I could take him to see the preschool. They took us back there and as soon I we walked in the door a HUGE smile appeared on his face.

He ran in and he saw a tarantula, which Kyson is obsessed with bugs, critter, or any creepy crawly, so he could not believe this. He was so excited he couldn't even talk. When I told him it was time to go he said "okay mom I will see you later" while pushing my legs out the door.

When I told him he could not come to preschool right now and that we would come back again he was so bummed out. And that was that, I signed him up, we went and he picked out a backpack, notebook, he was so excited for his first day, and he has been perfectly fine.

He is also so much like his dad, after preschool I always ask questions and of course he looks at me so irritated and says, " Mom, Quit saying stories" Which pretty much means stop talking. I am so proud of him and I seriously already have noticed a ton that he has learned and he has only been there 3 times.

We have also added a couple more animals to our collection. This time we got..... CHICKENS..... Sean is already telling me I have to get rid of them, He is very sick of my animal obsessions. He got rid of my rabbit one day when I was gone, so we will see what happens to the chickens. However, the kids will be super sad if they are gone because they think they are pretty cool.

I just love my two kids and I love it even more when they can play well together. This was seriously one of the cutest things I have ever seen. They were being so funny in this car together.
