This one jumped out at me first:
Then, this one:
Both of the above are a silk/rayon blend knit. I'm sure I could never find that fabric so I would likely use a rayon or rayon lycra. I would like to attempt the first one.
So, I decided to visit the Soft Surroundings site and way this back zipper top. Cute tunic, I think--with some skinny jeans or slim knit pants, think?
And I LOVE this crochet inset one. I'm sure I make one similar, IF I should want to take the time to crochet a similar inset. We'll see........
And lastly. I think this white shirt is soooo cute:
I believe from the description, it is a ruffle sewn into a colar stand, and the flower is gathered fabric. I may try this one too. So many ideas, not enough sewing time, you know?
Oh, to bring you up to date on the last post's blouse (Butterick 5646/last paragraph of last post)--It didn't work. When I sewed on the button/buttonhole bands, I got strange puckering at the bust area. I DO have photos, which I will post to show you what I mean. I really like the pattern and may try this one again. My fabric was a seersucker, and that may have contributed to the puckering--not sure. Anyhow, I've put the pattern away for now.
Since temps are still in the 100+ range, it's hard to think about fall sewing. Weather folks say we may be in the mid 90's next week. What a welcomed relief!
