Merry Christmas

This week really can feel the Christmas spirit in the air...
This is the very 1st time I had received so many presents, thanks to all my friends at work and Von.
Summer Christmas in Malaysia will not stop us from getting fun and keep up the Christmas spirit.
This long whole week I was busy with shopping and preparing gifts.
I have to admit this, although it was tiring but it was really, really FUN!

On the 21st of Dec, which we held our Christmas party inside the office, COOL~~~~
Food, turkey, cakes and last but not least, Presentssssssssssssssssss...
I just love that so, so much, where everyone gather around and had a great time there.
Thank you all for making that happen!

22nd was another busy day. It was so call Chinese Christmas (冬至）.
Early in the morning my mum had been preparing all those 汤圆 for prayers to our Gods and ancestor.
We went around Penang to pray and after that, is movie time.
We went to Queensbay mall for a movie:  Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked.
We laugh out our heart that day, it was a very funny movie... And Theodore is so, so, so, so cute!

Yesterday was another movie day with my sister, Von. Merry Christmas sis and thanks for the gift.
Petaling Stree Warriors! Yet this is another funny movie. Really enjoyed it very much.

As for today, is Christmas eve, I dun have couple but I have family and friends, I went out to meet a group of juniors (miss them a lot) and also shopping!!!

步步惊心

前几个星期， 有几位同事介绍了我一部连续剧~步步惊心~

一开始我觉得有什么好看的呢， 还不是又一部清朝的故事而已吗？

但是我这次的感觉是错的。

一旦开始后就不能停下来。

我只能说这部连续剧真的看到我都跟着步步惊心。。。

从现代的张晓， 到了古代的马尔泰.若曦都让我体会到了很多。

尽管如此， 虽然知道历史但却不懂当中的细节。

我看到了若曦， 步步惊心的在紫禁城里过的那种生活， 我的心很痛， 真的很痛。。。

在戏里头学了很多， 不是每一件事都如我们所愿。 人生真的有很多时候都是身不由己而只能认命。

而戏中的歌也是非常感人。

尤其是这一段：

 ♪ 这条路我们走得太匆忙
    拥抱着并不真实的欲望
    来不及等不及回头欣赏
    木兰香遮不住伤。♪

还有让我留下深刻的对白。

“要爱 我办不到， 不爱 又忘不掉。”

最后来到了结局， 让我无数次的感动及落泪。

Movie

I can say that movie plays an important role in my life. I enjoy watching them in cinema, tv or even in my laptop.
Today I want to ask you people a question, "what is the true meaning of watching movie?"
For me, I do believe that watching movie is more than to entertain ourselves, is something more that.
Tyler's 4 criteria towards movie;

1st of all, the interest of the movie. There must be some interesting reason why I choose that particular movie.

2nd, gaining something. Lesson, moral values, message or knowledge.

3rd, fantasy! Movie is a 'thing' or 'tool' that connect our minds into the situation where we might not be able to have in reality.

4th, satisfaction and unforgettable. Strong impact and give us the idea of what is really happening through out the movie and clear with the story line.

I will call this a good movie if I can get those 4 criteria of mine towards movie.

Finally... My turn..

What a pharking, rushing and tiring week I had.
Flowers, shirt, shoes, pants, coat and many more...
It all begin on 29 of Sept, 2011. Where my lovely 'T' sister fetch me along with her into the Forest University. This was the 1st return since last May where we finish our very last paper.
So the journey this time is to take our graduation robes!
Thanks to my H.O.E. who follow me here and there and help us to carry those heavy robes and finally we are through with the all those problem of getting our robes...
This is the journey of our graduation!
Start with photo session in office and then follow by a busy shopping session with mum.
And the flower, chocolates and bear...
Here comes the day, 5th Oct, 2011, Wed. We start our journey towards North at 0450.
0715 'chun chun' we reached there and it was a very pharking busy setting ourselves up.

0800 was the moment we marched in the great grand gigantic MAS Hall.
Follow by the boring session of long waiting before 'MY TURN' of getting up there receiving what I waited for 3 years.

1200, out from hall and waiting people to come and take pictures. (the fun part)
Having lots of fun with my sweet orc tok gang of Toxxip and my juniors...
Not to forget all those course mates and uni friends...
Lastly will me the V.I.P, my parents and my cousin.

1400 start our journey back Penang and kick off for round 2. The Studio...
Well, nothing much happen there, just take pictures. On that part, a special guess appeared. My brother.
Thanks to him for showing up. Love him so much...

2000 Home sweet home again...

3 in 1 Convo

Back on 24th Sep morning where we start our journey to Malaysia capital, Kuala Lumpur, we were so pharking excited!

I can sure that nothing slow us down and we spend every single moment with joy back then.

It was a short but yet memorable trip I ever had. (36hours)

Day one had been exploring the Bukit Bintang area and then cross night at PutraJaya!

This is the very 1st time I went there, I can only say that it was wonderful, I felt like entering a futuristic Malaysia.

NICE!

Here comes Day 2, where the main purpose served!

This is the big day for one of our Toxxip member, convocation!!!

Apart from that we also have some pre-convo for another 2 members! 

We have a lots of 'fun' moment in the morning of getting there but we make it!

Then is was photo session TIME!

Just like who we are, non stop action from us in order to grab the camera man attention. (I think I did really well on that)

Finally is time to say GoodBye once again to this wonderful city and back to the sweetest city of our own, Penang!

Milestone Walk

Today was a special day for many people from Penang!

Starwalk!

Wake-up early at 5am and preparing this and that...

Reached Time Square at 5.45 and it'd already filled up with all sort of 'lang'.

Finally I got my numbers and checkpoint wristband just before that big 'BANG'!

I can hardly manage to get myself in front, the big "BANG" already blown out!

So, this is it.. The journey of 10km through the UNSECO World Heritage City of George Town.

I'm always proud of Penang and for Her win on the title back in 2008 means a lot not only to me but to all Malaysian I guess.

Being part of this wonderful event means a lot to me personally.

Although I end up with nothing in the placing of top45 but I'm happy with the time that I used to complete this walk...

Next year, for sure I will join again and I will defying gravity and try to earn myself a place in the top45.

New Formula For Tyler

Lately been very sick of work...
And I have found something interesting, the new formula for Tyler;

Work + money - time = no life


But nothing much can be done, this is what current situation that I'm in now.
Sad, mad, happy, joy, sorrow or blues, whatever mood or feeling I have also have to accept the fact of this formula.
Gladly I still have a great family members that with me always and a group of Ocr Tok people that care about me.

New Eyes

Last Monday was the day where everyone exited about, RAYA eve!!!
Me too was exited with the pay day and also the day to collect my 'new eyes'.
Yup, I'd got my brand new pair of glasses and it comes at much too high a coat!

Glee

Great, finally can get the chance to watch Glee on the big screen!
Glee the 3D Concert Movie was so great!
Went to watch it with my elf cousin in Gurney.
Breathtaking one many of those amazing songs that I love...
Sadly my favorite song was not feature inside this movie but I do believe there will be another movie from the cast of Glee in the future and I hope on that time there will be a part where they can ' Defying Gravity'

'Lao Lang Keng and Siam Teh'

Last Sunday Tyler had followed a group of volunteers to Pokok Sena to visit an old folk home.
It was a nice and peaceful place for the elders.
Thanks for those who had founded this home, it really means a lot for them.
We presented some goodies bags to them and some volunteers perform an act and sing songs.
Hope that we really can bring some joy to them on that very time we were there.
After that Tyler had joined another free folks and continue travel north.
We cross the border and then go to Hatyai,
One word, HOT!!!

Last word, tiring...
Driving back to Penang from there was not an easy task, plus with the rain and non stop 'high-ligh' from the back...
It was a very busy day and I think we had fully used it...

A Gift From Elf

Pasar Ramadan

This is my very 1st time I went to Pasar Ramadan in Gelugor.
I was surprised by the things there, so many and is not I was out of my expectation . Not much things repeated actually, most things there are sole.

Since June I watched the season finale of Glee 2, I keep on telling myself to search for the song that Rachael and Kurt sang on the Wicked musical stage.
Guess what, yesterday night I'm able to get it but not only the Glee version, I also able to processed the original Broadway version.
After Defying Gravity, I had fall in love again...
I keep on repeating this song, the words, melody and voices are so beautiful...

七夕

It was a very high temperature afternoon. I had join a group of people went down to the hospital maintenance department for some praying during this 'Hungry Ghost Festival'.
It was very happening there where many people actually participate, all we wish for are very simple, be save all the time.
When the time had come to 'makan-makan' time I can see some of us turn into hungry human.
Ai yo yo.... Grab this, grab that but it was fun. XD
Soon after that I had joined 2 of my friends there for another place.
We went to Lorong 5 there to pray 七娘妈 in conjunction with 七夕.
It was hot and full of people in that temple.
I had tear running down non stop because of the smoke from joss sticks.
My mum used to told me that all the sparrow will be gone to form a bridge in order for Cowherd and Weaver Girl to meet once a year. Tonight will look up the sky to see rather there is a bridge form by them.
When on my way back I drop off at Jelutong, my childhood place, there I went to pray the King of Hades.

Hereby I wish that world peace and may everyone be safe and healthy always.

Harry Potter Finale!

This is it, the very final chapter of Harry Potter the movie. I was there, 11 years ago when I was just 13 years old when the very 1st HP movie was out into the public. Harry was cute then. XD

Yesterday I went out for window shopping with one of my bf in Q but end up we go watch Harry. I had skip the Deathly Hallows Part 1 but I manage to update those important things with my cousin, thanks Wei.

11years, so fast. So glad that finally it's over.

The finale was nice, great and breathtaking.

Is a must watch and can consider watching it again.

Way to Singapore

Singapore, a place I been to more than 10 years ago. Revisiting that place was such an amazing experience. I only remember of those beautiful decos along Orchard Road and those wonderful animals in the zoo.

This time was a bit different, more places that I have discovered when I visit Singapore last week.

From Penang I took bus to KL and then transfer to a train and then only I reach Singapore. Is a long Journey!

1^st stop is the full MRT ride to view the whole Singapore and then a quick walk from city to Marina Bay. Finally dinner at La Pa Sa. Nice.

Day 2 was the main purpose of this whole trip, Universal Studio! I had a full one day trip there. There are 7parts in Universal Studio where I have to explore.

Madagascar, Sherk, WaterWorld, Jurassic Park, Egypt (the Mummy), Sic-Fic and Hollywood.

A great grand finale that featuring wonderful firework that fill my eyes with colors.

Day 2 and 3 was the city tour where I get a chance to take a on the Singapore original duck tour and hippo tour. Nice!

Visiting several museums was a great experience where I get to know more about not only Singapore but also some Asian and Chinese history.

Taking a ride on the Singapore flyer was an overwhelming feeling where I get to sit on a world tallest Marry-go-round.

I love this trip but is a bit tired where I need to walk a lot until my legs pain.

I wish to go there again next time.

First Class

Just now went to QBmall with mi to watch X-Men  First Class.
I was trill with all the moves and moments I was in cinema.
Great movie, although I watch it a bit late but still not too late.

Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom Of Doom

Yesterday went to Mid Valley for this movie. In 3D, very nice.
This was actually more real than others action movie, I can really saw the character in front of me.
Is a must watch movie of the summer, funny, action, breathtaking and meaningful.
I learn what's inner peace...
Really feels like want to enter the cartoon world!

Never Too Late

I was very happy to had celebrated my birthday for the 3rd time in this year.

But sadly the shop close at 9, so we have to move to another place for supper or dinner to some.
We went to Kopitan, where is like OldTown style but the food taste differently.
Not bad, and nice view in Beach Street.

I am bacK

Life is a circle, I am back to work again. Same place, same position and same everything.

Finish the grand finale in the Forest University was kind of make me lost.

I'm still not ready for this brand new world...

So will back to the 'safe and warm' environment to work as part time to earn some income for holiday.

I need a break, a break from this f~world.

This is to give me energy to move forward and enter the brand new reality show of survivor!

Outlast will be the key to survive but I still believe in friendship, brotherhood and sisterhood.

I know that many out there's are watching my back, in return, I'm watching yours. Don't worry!

Finally, Yesterday I have completed all my examination in that Legendary Forest University.
I am glad that this is actually happening, 3 years journey finally ends.
On the other hand, well you know, as a Gemini, there are 2 souls inside me.
I felt sad and down because that I'm going to miss this place and the people that I am close with.

26 Days To Go...

I can't believe that I've actually saying this, : I'm going to miss UUM and start to miss this Forest University now.
Thinking back on the very 1st day I went into there, it was emotional when my family drop me there and said goodbye.
I was okay during the 1st few days but soon after the orientation, my tears was like waterfall. XD
Great experience I had with all my friends back then.
Apart from those orc tok members from Penang, I have gather some new orc tok people from my course. GREAT!!! Seriously, I love you all very much... I cannot imagine if those 3 years with out you people, how am I going to make it through this 3 years journey.

Songs

How songs can change one's thinking and emotion.
I'm trill with the impact that those great songs that I had been listing to.
They really means a lot to me, different stage of my life came with different song.
Listing back to that particular songs, is like the time travel machine that brings me back to that time.
Happy, sad, laugher, tears, fun, crazy, love, ups, standing up again, wild, downs, hate, cry and lift up.
Those were just some that I have been through all this years.

Lam Ciao Movie ~ Rio

 

Last Tuesday I went back to the Prince with Bryant. It was a long journey.
Haiz... Thanks to Cat Women, Li Wei, I had to take an hour and half bus journey back home.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, after a long day of travelling, that night we both went for movie.
Rimba.....
Nice movie, last week I went to watch this lam ciao movie with my bitchy friend.
It was about the story of a blue bird to find back his owner.
This musical animation was great and fun.
Plus it was meaningful.
Nice, bird!!!

Time of Pressure

Well this is part 2 of the CNY post, the last 5 days of CNY was busy.

I've been through 2 Valentine (one western and one eastern) alone at home, not totally alone la, with my family.

Here by I'm back to UUM to finish this year final season.

Assignments, mid semester examinations and quizzes are coming up.

And April will be Presentation month.

Hope I can perform this play with all I have.

2011, Year of Rabbit, My Turn

The very last Thursday of January was the day I drove back from the Forest University. My soul had gone back to the Prince since long ago and I was about to go back there to get it back.

Once again, I found myself back to the Prince. I just have to say that here is too much for me, I wonder in the future how I can leave this place for outstation assignment…

Chinese New Year, one of the most celebrated and a must to the Chinese. Preparation start when the day I reached the Prince. As we need to pray to our ancestors during the CNY eve, everything have to be prepared. Before I go through the eve, I went to a very special dinner, JSS annual reunion dinner. It was fun to see all those faces back then, share our memories together and I even sang a song that night, great huh?

The CNY eve finally here, cook from the early morning, my mum, kakak and my auntie start chop, cut, burn, steam and everything that involve with cooking was been done by them. Soon later we had done the process of praying our ancestors. Late on that night we all had dinner with Ah Ma and then went to Tua Korr’s house to continue steamboat… Nice!!!

The following few days was even greater, makan, makan, makan and MAKAN non stop. Can you believe that?

Che 1 makan sayur (day), gamble in Chin’s house (nite).

Che 2 went to Ken’s house for steamboat,

Che 3 even great, went Tua Par’s house steamboat, follow by Toxxip loh Shang in Pn Wong’s house and last but not least the family reunion dinner.

Che 4 went to Des’s house for a small buffer and then movie with Toxxip members. LIKE!!!

Che 5 morning went renew my passport and then night time go CRC makan again.

That was the happening to Tyler so far, today was the time we pray to Thee Kong. Now getting ready, just wait the right time to light up the joss stick.

Tomorrow even great, RedBox!!!
