I have added to my right sidebar above my blog archive a label gadget which will allow you to click on winners, or giveaway, or candies to check and see what is going on for candy or to check and see if you are a winner.

I know it is easy to direct people to my blog and those that have helped spread the word about who I am and what I do I appreciate it so much! I am excited to continue having support and sharing my appreciation with giving away some yummy stuff to my followers!!!

So due to some issues with my last candy I will be giving away a set of Spectrum Noir markers. The set is brown and they are no longer in their package. I know I know your thinking this woman is crazy giving away some markers but I do not use them and they need a good home!

If you alreayd entered my candy post that had the embossing powders and glitter thank you but that giveaway is void and I need to to leave a comment on this candy and switch out your photo.

Due to the drama with my last candy I will be extending the duration of this candy and it will expire on March 8th. I will be announcing a winner that following Sunday!

Matchbox Keeper

Hey everyone. It is Shanna here to share with you a project I made for Sin City Scraps that I recently learned how to make from Nichola's blog. It is similar to a shadowbox but in the form of a matchbox.

On the top I decorated the box using some satin ribbon, button string, Prima flower and light bulb, and a butterfly stamp from the set Love of Butterflies (Butterfly 1"x1")and cut out using Lifestyles Craft die.

For the matchbox I could not find any that fit the size I need so I made mine by hand. I used white cardstock that was sprayed with some Goosebumps texture spray then covered the paper using some Antique Linen Distress ink. I did the edges with Vintage photo.

To create a pull open method I added an eyelet and used some jute string for a pull tab.

The inside I was not too sure about. I thought I had some glass bottles in my collection, but I was wrong :(. So I took a Tim Holtz light bulb out of my stash instead. I wanted to make one of those three dimension fan shapes and thought why not do it out of the butterflies. Once again I used  the Love of Butterfly  set (Butterfly 1"x1")and cut out using a butterfly Lifestyles Craft die . The separate the compartments I used some chipboard. I had some extra paper left over and used it as a scroll tied with some green button string. I also added the pearls for a more feminine touch!

Here is the box next to its covering. Hope you have been inspired to do a little stamping.

Valentine's Day Cards

Check out my Giveaway!

This has been some week. I am so excited that it is the weekend. Today I have to get more dental work done... not like I really want to as it messes with my eating and drinking which messes with my lactation abilities! BUT the upside is I plan on renting some movies and cuddling up with my babies for the weekend!!! I also plan to get a little crafty this weekend too!
So let's get started yah?
Today I am sharing some Valentine's Day cards I made for Gina's Designs

For these cards I used pieces from the Build a Layout Romance set.

This card was simple as I used the new Lovely Authentique papers and left this chipboard piece blank embellishing it with rhinestones.

This card I also used the Authentique Lovely papers. I painted the chipboard with Creative Inspirations Paints and finished off with some lace.

This card was created using some crackle paint and some homemade shimmer mist. I used Echo Park papers and finished the card off some jute mesh.

This card was created using Bo Bunny papers, some black ribbon, along with some chipboard sprayed with Tattered Angels mis and the heart being painted with Creative Inspiration Paints and holes added to tie on some twine.

Hope I inspired you for some special cards using chipboard pieces!

Bottle Cap ATC's

Well I am excited and happy to share with you today a project I made for Gina's Designs

Okay so last month I made my first set of ATC's ever!!! Why didn't anyone tell me these things are addicting???? I will be showcasing a set of ATC's for the rest of the year is my plan. I can't wait until you see March's ATC's yes. But let me not get too excited as I still need to share this set with you!

The bottle caps are so much fun. I can go crazy punching pictures out and making these all day!

My gears a painted with black, bronze, and gold paint. I inked the bottle cap with some alcohol ink. I also added some Sparkle N Sprinkle Shimmer embossing powder over a Prima stamp. All the papers I used are from Glitz Designs.

I had a little more fun with this one. I wanted something kind of sexy with the corset. I used a Tim Holtz stamp to emboss Sparkle N Sprinkle Antique embossing powder on the ATC, the gloves got covered with Gold Detail embossing powder, as well as the corset getting a rub of gold paint then a Prima stamp used to emboss more Gold. This bottle cap also got some alcohol ink too. I added the words from Tim Holtz Chit Chat book.

This one was a fun vintage look. I covered the bottle cap in alcohol ink as well. The birdcage got a coat of white paint and White detail embossing powder

Products used in creating these fun ATC's were
