My Girl with Gina's Designs

Hey everyone I hope everyone is ready for tonight and has a wonderful and safe time out.
Today I am sharing a layout of my cutie before her bad streak came out. We had so much fun with this photo shoot and the pictures were the perfect size to fit the filmstrip. I couldn't help making my baby a star!

Today she is turning 4 and wants to be Cinderella! If only life were that easy right. I tell myself to cherish the moments while I can get them with her evil mean streak coming out every day I feel compelled to be a mom and try to save that cute, sweet little girl I know she can be.

This layout is a total reminder of that. My little drooling, explorative, giggle monster she was. It is amazing to see children discover and I hope she holds on to that special part about her getting excited over the little things she finds and can do.

Alright enough mama drama.... Here is my mixed media layout!

Exotic Halloween

I cannot believe tomorrow Halloween will be here. I remember I couldn't wait to go trick or treating even when I was in high school. Then finally once I was old enough to go to halloween parties without curfew lol.

Tomorrow my daughter turns 4 and I can only imagine what little rebel she might be in the future but for now she wants to be my Cinderella! Hope she can stay something close to that forever.

So keeping it going, I am posting today for Sweet Pea Stamps. I was so excited I was able to complete this piece in time to share as she was meant for Halloween.

 Enjoy and everyone stay safe!

Halloween Theme

It is time for another new weekly challenge at

The theme this week is

Halloween Theme

Halloween is almost here. I am so excited this weekend will be my daughters party so a big BOO and Happy Halloween to those that are celebrating.

I am going to share a fun card I made to fit the Halloween theme. Although I do not think any of my dogs would wear a costume, I can't even get my big puppy to walk on the leash let alone him go out the front door... the backyard he does just fine though. My little tiny old lady though she would get a kick out of walking and so many people being out in one night.

So here is a Halloween card to share with anyone for this fun occasion!

Linnie Blooms Art Journal Page

Good day everyone. How was everyones weekend going? Is everyone getting their final Halloween touches?
Well today I must say it is my last post with Linnie Blooms. I am excited to have been one of the first designers for the team. It is time to see some new talents and I cannot wait to see who gets to inspire us all next.

So I thought since I started with an art journal page why not finish with one. My daughter inspired this little page as she loves to sing Twinkle Twinkle, along with Justin Bieber. Well Twinkle Twinkle was easier to pull off for me.

So here is my artistic take of Twinkle Twinkle I hope you are inspired. Also make sure to watch the video on how I created it HERE

I love how big the stars are in the Primitive Star Set.

I couldn't resist using some texture paste for some background sky and stars using a Crafters Workshop Stencil.

I whipped out a new Prima Stencil to create a stone looking wall using texture paster and some embossing powder from Sparkle N Sprinkle called Silver Lightening.

There are so may ways to create using Linnie Blooms shapes and I know you will be inspired after checking out more projects on the blog so look around and check out the store too!

Tomorrow's Memories Butterfly Kisses

Good morning everyone. Today I am posting for a wonderful store in Australia called

I love the Collections Elements carried in the store such amazing products with wonderful variety!

I was asked to do a this off the page project using Twiddely Bitz chipboard. It is a product found in Australia  and is carried in the store.  This was an amazing frame shadowbox.

I covered everything with gesso and some Lindy Stamp Gang spray and some Shimmerz Texturez.

I cut out several butterflies from a Collection Elements page such a great variety of sizes.

Such fun embellishments.

I also used some Collection Elements words they are perfect and tiny similar to Tim Holtz Chit Chat pieces.

My metal pieces were covered with Distress Paint called Broken China. The paint covers greatly and stays put once dried. Such great and amazing charms carried in the store so if you are local make sure your stop by or stop by online and order some kits.

Halloween Cards

Hello everyone. I have a fun quick share today for something I made for Gina's Designs.

I made a quick set of Halloween cards using chipboard pieces from the Spooky Shape Set.

For this card I used black acrylic paint to color the chipboard then I covered is with Rock Candy Crackle Paint.

For this card I used Sparkle N Sprinkle Golden Follies Embossing powder to cover the pumpkin.

For my final card, I covered the pieces with some Sparkle N Sprinkle Glitter - Purple Fusion and Evening Glow. To adhere the glitter I used Glossy Accents.

These were so fun and fast to through together I hope you get your chippies and make a few!

Artist of the Week - Brigid Ashwood

Yay I am so excited this week is here. Artist of the week is still pretty new and I love seeing what each of the designers pick for their choice of images. Variations week is fun too sharing each designers talents for taking the same image and making into to something completely different.

So this week our Artist we will all be sharing is Brigid Ashwood. Her stamps are all available in rubber only. She has such a unique style especially with her steampunk creations. She also creates fun fairies.

So for my image I chose Firefly! I love this image. Something so fun and challenging about it but I took on the fun of coloring her with my copics. Next time I need to try pencils once I get better are pencils. I think even watercoloring would be a perfect fit.

Trick Or Treat

It is time for another new weekly challenge at

The theme this week is

Trick OR Treat

TRICK = Create a Moving Card or some element of your card that is moveable - Viewmaster Card, Slider Cards, Decoder Cards, Never Ending Cards, The little action wobblers, etc.
 OR
TREAT = Make a Halloween Treat Holder

So I chose to go with a TRICK. I use to love making slider cards and thought this would be fun. If you would like to know how to make this card, you can find the tutorial HERE!

Now this is special as my daughter wanted to help. She loves Halloween because it is her birthday so she has already start watching the Nightmare Before Christmas at least twice a week (Thanks Netflix!!!!) and talking about pumpkins and what she wants her party to be like.

So I let her help make the card and of course she said this card just had to have stickers. She loves stickers as I have pretty much taken all her stickers away because she believes everything needs stickers! So I happened to have some stickers from a couple years ago and let her put them on. I said just 4 she said the card was perfect because she was going to be 4 and wants this card for her birthday  lol. It was really a cute moment compared to the horrible 3 year old attitude I have been getting.

So here is our card. Hope your inspired to do a little fun crafting!
