Our challenge to you this week is to : USE A HEART

And our wonderful sponsor this week is

For my card today I decided to use the image Capt. Locke. I didn't have any hearts to throw on this thing so I made one with the roses! I did have some papers with hearts but they really didn't go will with the image.

Boy wasn't she fun to color. I took my cues from Sarham. I am still not happy with how the shoes turned out but the rest is yummy! I used some older My Mind's Eye papers, some lace, ribbon, flowers, and rhinestones.

Hope you get a chance to play with us this week. Now go stop by and check out what the other ladies created for this weeks challenge.

We have a fun sponsor this week

So for my inspiration I am using this pillow.

Blue and Brown Bird Pillow

I decided to make a not card holder. Sorry I don't have any notes in there yet but they will be there.

Here you can see the pockets!

I love this image and used copics and stickles to dress it up.

I used some jute string and FabnScraps papers.

For this pockets inside I just made my own library card pockets, stuck the together, and glued them into their holder.

Now stop by the challenge blog and play along with us this week.

Card Full Day

Today I am sharing some cards I made for Gina's Designs

Did you know you can follow us on TwitterPinterest, and Facebook??

Well today like I said a series of cards that I threw together last night. I mean threw together!

I used a doily from Cardstock Doily from Set 1 and a Dressform from Set 1, the papers are from Prima's Romance Novel, the twine from My Craft Spot, the button from my Tim Hotlz stash, and lace from my scraps stash. I painted the dressform black before dressing it up!

For my second card I used a frame from the Delicate Frames and Ornaments Set. The papers are from Glitz Designs and the butterfly die is from Cheerlynn.

The last two cards were created using pieces from Butterflies and Dragonflies set, sentiments from Sparkle n Sprinkle's stamp set 467 Nature and Glitz Design papers.

This sentiment was embossed with SNS gold detail embossing powder. I covered the butterfly with Inca Gold acrylic paint and then daubed with black acrylic paint.

This sentiment was embossed it with black detail embossing powder. The dragonflies were covered with rock candy crackle paint which I think is my favorite part.

Thanks for stopping by. Don't forget you have some time left to enter my candy!!! Click Here to enter!

Chipboard Clipboard

If you are looking for the Sparkle N Sprinkle Hop CLICK HERE

Well the weekend is here. YES, YAY, HIP HIP HOORAY!

Well this past week has been a bit of a rough one for me. I barely got any DT work done trying to get my milk supply back up( I have a missing appetite and don't get much sleep). For those of you who are new to my blog I am a mommy of two now.

Adyson with her crazy untamed curls and Avery with his "yummy" hand

(By the way it is her baby not mine!!!! as I am told)

My son was born the day after Thanksgiving in an emergency c section kind of way ( I was due on the 27th for a c section delivery anyway, but he was a little squished and his cord was wrapped around a couple times trying to kill him when I laid on my back - my most comfy position)!!! My daughter is 3 (born on Halloween = really special) caused such an uproar this week pushing this momma to her limits. Yes I even looked in to schools for children where you send them away and they come back amazing perfect little angels - that didn't pan out to well for me. Then I started having some really bad pains in a tooth and ended up going to the dentist... well this pregnancy and all my throwing up, and lack of vitamins, extreme diet measures to maintain my health ruined my teeth again just like with Adyson... well found out I need over $4000 worth of work and the tooth that was bothering me turned out to be a .....duh duh duh.... ROOT CANAL!!!! Some fillings I have need to be readdressed and covered with crowns as just the fillings didn't work which leads up to one expensive mouth. If I could ever have one wish screw world piece and give me some perfect teeth! But enough about me....

Let me share something new... It is a chipboard clipboard from Gina's Designs

I used some Prima papers from the Zephyr line, some yummy lace, rhinestones, and some beautiful roses! I plan on using this as a little note board. Stop by the store and check out some yummy chipboard!

Beautiful Birdhouse

I am using this card for a special post for

Sin City Scraps is a scrapbook and stamp supply store here in Vegas. They carry a wonderful variety of crafty yumminess and hold crafting meet-ups that are FREE!!!!

So I am sharing a card I recently made. I really wanted to try out my wood coloring skills. I still and not 100% about it but I think it looks okay. Sin City Scraps wanted me to share a stamping technique. I wish I had something special to really share about stamping. I thought about watercolor stamping or water stamping too however couldn't find my watercolor paper.

Therefore I stamped the image, did a fussy cut, and some fun coloring. Coloring is one of my favorite things to do as most of you who follow me knows I love to do. I also have branched out into more projects which I thank everyone for their support on.

Now for this card I am using Sparkle N Sprinkle stamps, glitter, and embossing powder
