My daughter has been all but a good girl. I am hoping her nana is still picking her up today so I can have a little more alone time. I am so tired. It is Friday which means I will be watching Ghost Adventures tonight. Well I have a couple shows to catch up on. I will be working my butt off to get some things done while she is with her grandma. I have got to get a good schedule down too. I really need something right now!

Well there is a new challenge tonight at

Updates

Just a quick update.

Well a few things. I moved my desk downstairs and everything that was crammed around it.
Here is the old space

Here is the new space it is still a work in progess while I find the containers I want to stash everything in. My theme is going to be rustic or shabby vintage. Like this.... I found it at Hobby Lobby and it sold before I could go back and buy two days later. It was s bit expensive but I wanted to know the manufacturer so I could try and find it somewhere else. I really need (want) this!

and this
with some storage like this

So here is on corner! You can see my little goober in the back she just woke up and is yelling at me for breakfast! These just have my papers in it with some of the flowers and ribbon. I know it looks a wreck!

Here is the desk with the rest of the flowers and embellies. Goodness I wish I would have cleaned everything up but it looks good for just bringing everything down the two days before.

The desk my fiance made for me which I had to unmount off the wall upstairs and remount downstairs! I need to paint it to look shabby! My homemade photobox is underneath there which I am not sure yet if I am going to put more storage there or not. I have some little things all over this and a project I am working on. You can kind of see my first cross stitch in the frame too.

Here is the last corner as you can see my daughter has her huge pillow and her "draw draw board" down with my stuff. It kept her busy while I tried throwing everything somewhere. You can also see that paper storage stand my mom got me while showing her how I live in the middle of nowhere and that you have to drive 40 minutes to and hour to get to anything! It is from Kirkland's originally $60 on sale for $40 when we checked out it was clearance and they had a 25% off coupon bringing our final price after tax $29. Come on now if that isn't a good deal. And it has a stand... well it has wall mounts too and it almost has the shabby feel too it I just need to sand it down to see what the under color is and maybe add some texture to it. Maybe paint it a light blue gray! What do you think???

Of course I am snapping away versus putting food on the table so she came to be nosy! She looks a hot mess with her crazy curly hair not brushed modeling her favorite nightgown. Funny thing is this is the first time she ever really posed and smiled her whole exsistence. The ultrasound techs would get but loving mad because she never held still and would always hide away when they needed shots and photos. She couldn't do anything for her baby shots growing up and trying to catch her at home was a miracle. Once she turned one she was running from the camera.

So a storm we got later that day left us with this pretty rainbow outside  the front door. Too bad I didn't win the lotto that would have been my pot of gold.

But this will have to do.... All my new Prima goodies. I also got the new MME papers, Kasiercraft papers, simple stories papers, some Maya Road chipboard, Tattered Angels Mists, and some new Magnolia stamps. So of course I had to do some Spring Cleaning to make room for my new stuff!

My fiance really loves me. I thought he was going to kill me but he simply said no more please no more... I was nice and asked the next purchase and hoping to have that new Fairybelle collection and Fancy Pants here along with some Graphic 45 soon. All the projects are swarming around in my head like I am going to go crazy! I might need shopper's AA lol.

Easter Basket

Good morning everyone and Happy Monday.

I have a new post up over at The Great Impressions.

Don't forget you still have time to enter our

FIRST CHALLENGE

I have a new card to show you and I love it. I really love the colors because they are soft and dark at the same time. I used one of our newest stamps called Easter Basket and the sentiment is Cursive Happy Easter. I colored it with copics first. Then added Frayed Burlap distress ink everywhere. The papers are from last years Echo Park Springtime paper collection.

The flower is from Prima and the leaves are CC Cutters. I painted the leaves with Creative Inspiration Paints (Sage and Emerald). I also added some Light Purple to the flowers with Buttercup in the centers.

I used scallop large rectangle dies from spellbinder and ribbon from Stampin' Up.

It is almost a new month which means almost a new challenge and a new Stamp of the Month.

The papers are from last years MME paper pad. The ribbon is from the newest Ribbon club kit at Really Reasonable Ribbon. The flowers are Prima. I added some liquid pearls and some diamond stickles.

LOTV

I know I did not use one this week. I am holding out for their new release. I cannot wait to get one or two of the newest images. Although this is a new Magnolia too. The papers are from an older MME paper pad but I really love these colors.

I used a button and attached a bee charm to it tied with some ribbon I got from the Ribbon Girl.

I colored her with copics, then went over the image with Antique Linen DI and the edges with Walnut Stain. I also distressed the edges to the stain stood out even more.

The flowers are from WOC and I used some cheesecloth that I smooched Weathered Wood DI  into it.

If you get a chance to stop by and see what the rest of the team created.

Hey everyone. Happy Wednesday.
So today I am lucky because my daughter is at her second day of daycare and I am getting so much done and so much caught up. I will be able to breath again soon. Things got a little crazy with my internet down, my mom in town, and me taking apart my desks and moving everything downstairs so i could become better organized. I still need to finish organizing and will have photos up with some CANDY by the end of the week if all goes as planned. If not it will definitely be posted by Tuesday next week.

Well there is a new challenge today over at the

We are having a Spring/Easter theme

As always we have a sketch for you to use as well.

Remember you can use any stamp you would like but we would love to have you use a Pixie Cottage image.

So for my card today I used Stepping Stones Hannah but I do not think she is available right now.

I colored her with copics and added some fund ribbon and pearls to the card.

Thanks for stoping by today and if you get a chance go see what the other team members made.

Carrots

Good morning and happy start of the week to you.

Thanks again to everyone who participated in the blog hop with us. I have a simple card today bright and springy. Easter is coming up and I hope everyone is ready to have some hoppy fun. I still need to make my daughters Easter basket. I am not sure what I will be putting in there but I know it won't be candy! Well maybe a little. She loves suckers.

So today thanks to the nice bright and sunny weather we have been having I am using the Carrot Garden stamp. I also used a leaf from my stash of leaves that I hoard and a ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbons February Ribbon club kit. The flowers are just rolled paper I cut out.

Here is a close up of the carrots. It is just a real simple and quick card!

Thanks for stopping by today and hope you stop by tomorrow for Jenny's post.

Good Sunday morning to ya. I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I am going to be extra busy today. I have to get everything ready for Adyson's first day at daycare. I am so nervous about it but we have gymnastics tomorrow too. So busy busy busy day trying to play catch up and organize and I have a few tutorials to make and get together too. So busy body me will be running around like a chicken with my head cut off!

I love this Tilda. I love tons of Tildas. I really wanted to make this a different card from what my normal style is. I don't think I quite hit the spot as good as I wanted to but I still really like my card a lot.

If you get a chance check out what the rest of the ladies made at Paper Sundaes.

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ!!!!

By now, you’ve probably heard about the tornadoes and the devastating effects they’ve had on our small community here in Dexter, MI.  Many have asked if there is anything they can do to help.
Yes, there is.
As a way of raising relief funds for the hundreds of people who have lost their homes (many of whom were already dealing with financial hardships) and are now taking shelter in school gym’s and cafeterias and will be displaced soon, we would like to hold a very special sale.
All of our subscription plans, except for monthly, are on sale, and if you purchase the Lifetime Special (a really screaming deal!), all proceeds from this special offer will be shared with in-need families in the Dexter, MI area.
The Lifetime subscription is just that. It never expires. And for a limited time, it’s roughly the same amount as a one-year subscription would be if paid on monthly installments! That’s unlimited years of fabulous content for just a few bucks more than a year!
To purchase, please use promotion code DEXTER to receive 25% off term subscriptions, depending on which one you choose.  No promo code is needed for the Lifetime subscription, but this special price won’t last for long. Get it now while you can.
And don't forget. You can also purchase subscriptions as gifts for friends and loved ones! They'll appreciate your kindness and so will we!
We sincerely thank you for being a part of the Scrapbook News and Review community and for all the love and support you’ve been sending our way. It’s greatly needed...and appreciated.

Spring Time

For products used on my cards

Good evening everyone. Hope everyone is ready for the weekend. My mom is leaving me tomorrow. We had so much fun shopping around and trying help me be creative with my new room. Should have it all put away and finished by next weekend :)

Challenge #123 Spring

Our sponsor this week is

Heathers Hobbie Haven

Hey everyone. I created this card today isn't this lovely. I made this to be a springy, cute card.  I loved making this card as it was so relaxing and nice since I got everything almost finished in my craft space for now. I still need to get a piece of furniture but here consignment is just like shopping brand new so I have yet to find something I can fix up with some paint and distress stains.

So about my card... I used a Tilda and colored her with copics. I used some new papers from MME distressed and inked. I recycled my Starbuck coffee collar and used it underneath the sentiment.  I added some WOC flowers and called it a day.

Hope you get a chance to check out the new challenge.
