Holiday Decor

Good morning/afternoon. Hope everyone who celebrates Thanksgiving had a wonderful holiday. I also hope everyone is safe from Black Friday shopping. I did most of mine online it was a challenge because my internet was not available off an on.
It is time for a new challenge over at

Pixie Cottage

the theme is

"Holiday Decor - No Cards"

I have had so many issue lately and this would be an item effected. I was not able to edit my images enough to make them 100% pretty like my normal photographs are. So please excuse my images. I mounted a Prisma Pencil colored image of the Snow Fairy on a white candle.
I added some liquid pearls, some puff paint (my hardest task), I used some stickles and some holly berry rhinestones. Of course tissue paper was used along with a heat gun. Very challenging as this was my first colored image mounting.

I really hope you all find the time to come play with us over at

The Pixie Cottage
Also check out the recent tutorial for a gift card envelope.

On a side note. Please stop by and read this. It's for charity and those who love to help any little bit counts.

Set of tags

Happy Hill Day. The week is over for most! I hope everyone is ready for Thanksgiving and is excited to have a day off. Well most regular business people that is. Anyone in retail well... I hope you get off in time to enjoy some of the day. My health is not at it's best so I really have to be careful what I eat and salads, veggies, and fruits are not that big in my family. Okay well yams, and collard greens! I just have to eat no cholesterol foods and I have to extremely reduce my carbs at the moment. Not like I eat much in the first place but I love to eat pasta about twice a week. I am also one of those women who loves homemade breads.... My current favorite is Cranberry bread or Zucchini bread. Alright enough about food. let's get on to todays new challenge!

(WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU USE A PIXIE COTTAGE IMAGE/SENTIMENT)

Our new challenge today is

We want to see you make a set of something. It can be Christmas cards, tags, or a card and a container of some sorts!

I know it is not the best of Christmas spirit but I thought is nice. I used Pixie Cottage sentiment called Faith Senitment. I thought this was the perfect sentiment for my tags. I used Ink-essentials manilla tags covered with a layer of crinkled up tissue paper (saved from presents). I then used Teresa Collins cardstock from the Christmas Home pad. I used a spellbinder die and then stamped the sentiment in memento black ink. I used black soot DI on the edges and embellished the tags with rhinestones.

Beautiful Bows

Good Morning Bloggers!
Today we have a new challenge over at

"Beautiful Bows"

Of course I had to use this cute magnolia from the newest collection. It seems like this stamp line just came out and guess what... it is about time for the next release!
The tag is chipboard from Maya Road and crinkle ribbon is from My Craft Spot.

O the lace is from Ribbon Girl.
The flower is from Recollections, the papers are from Echo Park's Season's Greetings, and the sentiment is Amy R's newest seasonal sentiment.

I used this tutorial for the bow and them altered it until I liked it. I used copic markers and spellbinder dies of course. I also added some pumice stone and barn door DI. I also used a Making Memories pebble up at the top.

So please stop by and play with us!

Let's Talk Turkey

Hello everybody. I hope all is well.

We have a new challenge over at

Let's Talk Turkey

Hey everyone I am very sorry for this post. I know my turkey is not the best. The last two weeks have been a real challenge for me. Between my daughter being sick for 4 days, me going to the doctors, and the wild weather I did not have time to make a fancy fancy card. I did get to play with some ribbon and make a turkey though. My sentiment is from SU and my cardstock is from my stash.

Pink, White, and Gold

Good morning to everyone everywhere. I had a rough but good day. I am kind of alone when it comes to being a mommy. Therefore when it comes to doctor appointments and pedicures, and anything you would normally do by yourself.... I drag my daughter to. She did so good at the doctors office. They decided to do an ultrasound on my thyroid. I still have nodules growing and cancer has yet to be something crossed off the list. Well a nurse was kind enough to take care of my daughter for me so he could do a biopsy and save me the trouble of having to come back. I swear I hate doctor's but this one was awesome. Just amazing!
Anyway we have a new challenge over at

Pink, White, and Gold + bling picked by Kerry

Our sponsor this week is

I know gold, pink, and white are not traditional Christmas or fall colors. BUT BUT BUT we all love untraditional, traditional colors. We would love love love to see anything you can create using these colors.

I used Stroppy Beth by Krista Smith, MME and DCWV paper, Prima and WOC flowers, gold micro beads, copics, the sentiment I made myself covered with Spun Sugar distress ink, added some stitching and used a dots embossing folder. This was a fun little card to make.

Please stop by and check out what else the design team has created.
