Nothing happening has happened to my life these days. That's why nothing to update. But right now I just feel like typing something so I thought a random update would be good. Hahs. Well life is pretty much mundane now, I have problems coping with school, I'm constantly feeling MC Hammer broke from the fact that I'm not working, I have unpredictable mood swings (unfortunately, it wasn't PMS!), my pimple outbreak is getting worse and I might need to make a visit to the dentist soon to get my wisdom tooth extracted for the third time! Argh!!!

With two extractions before, there shouldn't be anything to worry right? No!!! There's a lot to worry. Because this third one would require a surgery because its only growing a wee bit and the rest still planted under my gums (its called the partial eruption)!!! Arghhh! And I hate having to undergo the vaccination on my gums again! Ironically, getting the jab on my gums hurt even more than having my tongue pierced. Freak...and on top of the excruciating pain from the jab, I also had to withstand the post-surgery pain and the post-extraction pain. Woah...!!! Too much to handle. But then again, I should be happy, shouldn't I? Now that most of my wisdom tooth have been extracted and they grew one at a time (some people had theirs growing all four concurrently). Atleast, I know I have nothing to fear when I get older. Heh...okay then. Pluck up some courage and make an appointment with the dentist soon okay?!

I remembered my first wisdom tooth extracted when I was 17. I kept it for about a week when my mother found it and threw it. Then, my second was when I was 20. That one, I didn't bother keeping. 'Cause its disgusting. It had bleeding veins stuck to it. Hahaha! Okay gross I know. So should I keep the third one? After all, this one will cause me most pain during extraction!

This is roughly how our wisdom tooth looks like. Aren't those roots big???

You'd thought I'm dead huh? Hahaha! Well apologies to blogger to have to sustain a LIABILITY like me and to ya'all readers for the lack of updates. =D If you hadn't know yet, I am currently very very busy juggling 3 jobs and school. Yes, its tough! To make matters even more challenging and mentally straining, I had to plan my own timetable. Gosh...! Didn't know that Uni education is strictly on INDEPENDENT sourcing. Urgh! And part-time program requires even more SELF-INITIATIVES! Pardon me, maybe I just didn't grow up. I always think that I am 17 and everything will be fed to me! You poor thing Mya. Could it be you're of a lower IQ? Hahaha! Fuck you if you agree! Hahaha!

Anyhow, despite the tight schedule, I know I have to make time for R&R. Else I would lose my sense of motivation. Really! I'm the kind of person who needs to reward myself for my hard work; every now and then! Plus, I need to "get in touch" with my babylove. During my busy schedules, I hardly have time for love. So, this is another way to catch up. For most of you, I think you know where I went cause I already blogged about it. But for the sake of the "late bloomers", I went to KL. So last Friday, 11th June, me and baby set off for Jalan Raja Chulan, Kuala Lumpur. It's just next door to Bukit Bintang. Not too far from where we went earlier this year with the babes and dudes. This time we stayed at Hotel Istana, a 5-star hotel situated at Jalan Raja Chulan.

Before I go into details of the hotel, I would like to share a funny story. Ok maybe not humorous at all to you, but it is to us. What happen was, we took a coach (instead of flight like we intended to) at Transtar Travel's main centre at Lavender. The coach is set to depart at 0830 hours. We were super early this time (to avoid missing our bus like before), by the time we reach, there were already quite a number of families. From an overview count, we thought that will be enough to occupy the whole bus. So at 0830 hours sharp, the bus moved off. Me and love were sitting at the lower deck. There was only 2 of us and the other 4 seats were vacant. So this pair of OVERLY CONFIDENT couple (and that's us), who thought that it'll be just them, happily adjusted their seats to their maximum comfort. They even contemplate to change seats as and when they wish. The next thing they know, the bus stopped at Golden Mile Complex. More passengers boarded. Both stunned, looked at each other with utter disappointment, then laughed off their foolishness. Hahaha! Kesian... There were 3 other Malay couples that boarded from Golden Mile Complex. Its not as though we're bothered by that except that it was a little weird that for whatever the reason, all gave each other the "you-know-i-know" look. Hahaha! Why ehk? So the funny part is actually, during our going home time. Guess what? (as much as we want to avoid the awkwardness) The 4 stranger couples boarded the same coach home, again. Hahaha! This time around its awkward to the nth degree! =D Bodoh amat!

Okay back to the hotel. As soon as we checked in, we had to wait for our room to be ready (again)! This time it was longer. We had to wait for an hour or so. That was the unfortunate part of staying at Hotel Istana. They either did not have a proper system nor have enough employees. Imagine, we checked in at 1600 hours and they still had to make us wait?! But they did try to make it up to us by giving us complimentary drinks. But we didn't take it. Instead we decided to explore the places near our hotel. In terms of location, I award Hotel Istana a 5/5 because it is near to everywhere. Near to Lot10, Pavilion, Bukit Bintang Plaza, Raja Chulan monorail station and best of all, it is surrounded by many banks that provides 24-hour ATM service. So we need not worry of being short of cash. Thankfully, by the time we came back to the hotel, our deluxe-king room was ready. So we checked in, unpacked and rested. The first thing I surveyed was, the TOILET! Yes, I have a habit of checking out hotel toilets. I need to see and ensure that it is of course clean, classy, sexy and have that luxury feel to it. Especially if its a 5-star hotel. I was ecstatic at the sight! Classical elegance with a touch of KINKINESS! Heh... Just look for yourself.

On the way to KL.

It looks better at night. Pavilion's something2...

After ample rests and two hungry stomachs later, we got changed and went for dinner. We were clueless where to go and ended up at Food Republic Pavilion. After dinner, we walked a little around Pavilion and went in Armani Exchange and Pull and Bear. Initially we thought we wanted to get jeans and t-shirts from A/X and Pull and Bear but after much calculation, we agreed that its cheaper to buy in Singapore. So we gave in to our loose knees, and went back to our room. The plan was to watch FIFA World Cup matches at RTM1 but we fell asleep in the middle of South Africa VS Mexico's game. Hahaha! Speaking of which, I made a prediction of the outcome of South Africa VS Mexico's game. I predicted that both will tie at 1 all. I even mentioned that Mexico would score first followed by South Africa. If only the first goal by Mexico wasn't considered as offside, I had made a pretty remarkable prediction! Hah! Swear I said all that to babylove. We were both surprised at my "magical" ability. LOL!

Yes people, we get to see Hotel Capitol from Hotel Istana. Miss those days...

Our second day was basically spent shopping. We started off our day with lunch at Secret Recipe and off we went to Lot 10. Baby got his favourite Ray Ban shades for himself and his brothers. While I got myself a shirt from Hypnosis and my Chanel cosmetics. =D After that we went to Berjaya Times Square with the intention to catch a movie but it was so packed and the tickets to all the show were either sold out or selling fast. Well, being the inactive people we are, we get tired easily. And the fact that we travel around by taking the always-so-packed monorail or by feet doesn't arouse the keenness to shop further. So by around 6 in the evening, we were exhausted and decided to go back to our room and will go out for late dinner. As I've told him way before the trip, we really asked around as to where we could find nice seafood to savour around our hotel area, so that my cravings are fulfilled. Hehe! We were told of this Lorong Alor a couple of times, but we failed to locate it until we were having our Haagen Dazs ice-cream. While waiting for baby to finish smoking his fag, I went to ask the Haagen Dazs crew, and he guided me through with the directions. Finally, with much determination, we reached the Seafood Haven along the stretch of Lorong Alor. I had my desires satisfied. Sorta. Hahaha! =D Then it was back to our room again. Unfortunately, our second and final night was a little dramatic. Hahaha! We had a slight argument and I was crying me a river. Hahahahahaha! We argued and quarreled to the verge of a break up. Sigh...what a time and LOCATION to argue. But THANK YOU ALLAH, we talked with rationality and wisdom, and we reconciled, only to discover that it was nearly 2 in the morning. So without much delay, we cuddled to sleep. Awww...I know...

We spotted a Hummer...

*Snap* Look at this monster! Beautiful!

Lorong Alor from the stall we're eating at...

Me eating this disgusting looking seafood...luckily it tastes alot better than it looks.

On our departure day, we basically checked out at 2pm and went for lunch at A&W before we head for Pasar Rakyat Bus Terminal where we boarded our coach back to Singapore. So sad...again, we didn't feel like coming home just yet. Teeheehee

View of the streets from our room...

Never will have enough of these...

My oh-so-vain boyfriend!
