Organizationally Challenged
For years I have kept hidden a very deep dark secret...I am organizationally challenged. I am good at faking it and for the most part no one but my husband has a clue. I can organize events, people and ministries without blinking an eye but when it comes to organizing a closet, a counter or an office I am completely and totally out of my league.
One of my New Year's Goals was to become more organized. So slowly (think turtle pace) I have been organizing various places in my life. My good friend Karen Ehman recently published a book called The Complete Guide to Getting and Staying Organized that totally was a life saver. It helped me get control of many areas of my life. One of the biggest helps was her brain in a binder idea which helped me get the paper clutter more in control...still not there totally but closer than before.
However there are still many many areas of my home that are out of control. My biggest headache is my home office area where I run my home business from. It is a complete mess all the time. It is time for a makeover.

The problem with makeovers for me is that I can't even envision the end result let alone figure out how to get there.
Lysa TerKuerst has challenged her blog readers to a Swap & Hop Organizational challenge. This has motivated me to get moving and start organizing. But where to begin? And really will it help? We'll see...I have 48 hours this weekend...or maybe a few less to see what can be accomplished.
