Cute Card Thursday - Things with Wings

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Things with Wings'.

As always, we welcome your own interpretation.

I used papers from My Mind's Eye 'Mischievious' collection, and added a little distressing and twine.

I found the bats on images on the internet, printed them out on the different papers and matched them up.

I'm protesting winter this year!

I'm just loving this image from From the Heart Stamps! Winter is fast approaching here and I am SO not ready for it! They are predicting a big winter - so this image and sentiment sums me up completely! The image is called 'No Snow Birdbrain' and I just love the sentiment that comes with the image (one of many).

I used this week's sketch #119 from the blog:

I colored the image with my prismacolor pencils, and used a variety of Echo Park papers.

The snowflake brad was 'a find' at Michaels.

The Paper Girls Challenge #88 - Sweater Weather

This fortnight's challenge is 'Sweater Weather'. 

I used this super cute image from The Paper Shelter - Autumn is Coming!
This is SO appropriate as Autumn is coming quickly and hitting hard here!

I love that when you buy an image from The Paper Shelter, you get a black & white version to color and a colored version for ease and quickness. I must admit that I ran out of time this week and cheated by using the colored version - but then it shows the ease of making cards!

I used papers from Echo Park and some of my cardstock scraps.
