Little Miss Trouble!

My last layout of this month uses a sketch from Pagemaps (Bo Bunny Anthem sketch contest):

Another awesome sketch from Pagemaps! The colors in my photo worked perfectly with the colors in the kit. I love the journalling cards and chipboard pieces. I added a little of my own twine and alpha stickers to the page - only because the black twine in the kit seemed a little harsh with the papers. I also used some of the ribbon as a border piece - white on white - subtle but effective!

I'm so loving these enamel dots which seem to be all the rage now. Finished off with a punched heart and chipboard button.

Paper Secrets July card sketch #2

For my card, I used Authentique's 'Carefree' collection along with a digital cutting file from 

birdscards.com (doily circles1)!

You're my sweet Baby Girl

My second layout of this month uses a sketch from Pagemaps (Cocoa Daisy sketch contest):

and this month's scrapbooking kit:

I really liked the sketch and thought it would work perfectly for this photo. I used my Silhouette to cut the circles from the white background, and copied the stitching on the sketch (man - that took me a while to hand stitch!!) The title is cut from one of the journal cards along with some pink glitter alphas from my stash. I love the mix of pink and turquoise in the papers and elements in this kit.

The mesh ribbon in this months kit worked perfectly as a border strip, and gives added texture and dimension to the page. The buttons and chipboard dotted around just finish the page off!

Artful Delight - A life full of giggles

My second layout of this month uses a sketch from Pagemaps (Spellbinders sketch contest):

and this month's scrapbooking kit:

I love these photos of my sister from my family's last visit to the US. She was SO happy! (and you get a very rare picture of me too!!) I used the doilies in the kit with added stitching, and I must say I loving these MME enamel dots! They are so much easier than using brads!

The title really did fit these photos perfectly - there were lots of smiles and laughter had by all!

Artful Delight - Dream Big

My first layout of this month uses the sketch of the month:

and the scrapbooking kit:

I used a lace square background piece which I cut using my silhouette and then used the patterned papers and bingo cards to fill in the holes behind - it just gives it a little more interest and color to the page.

The title was cut from the patterned and solid cardstock in the kit - again using my silhouette.

Another bingo card and then a sentiment using the Color Box ink and Technique Tuesdays stamp in the kit.

Artful Delight July Scrapbook and Card Kits

The July Scrapbook kit is such a great - a definite must for the little girls in your life! Here is a picture of what is in the scrapbook kit:

And the card kit is almost the same too:

There is a mixture of My Mind's Eye 'Kate & Co', Teresa Collins 'Summer Stories', Echo Park 'Here & Now' and coordinating Bazzill cardstock. There are SO many embellishments in these kits too!
