Wow it is always a busy end to the year once we hit November. My Birthday passed yet again with very little fuss, which is a good thing, my expectations are always a little too high (the ever important good wishes from those that matter are forgotten once again, and the hope that the kids will provide a day of peace is just too much to ask for.) this year DD#1 dropped the 'I'm moving out' clanger the day before my Birthday, but that is a long painful story. DS#2 had a rough end to the year, nerves, anxiety and hormones proved a little too much. DH celebrated his 50th, which was a highlight, as was DS#1's Graduation from High School with his formal and the final stages in his Navy application. DS#2 Graduated from Primary School. DD#2 is just the same...still wanting to be as grown up as her big sister. So here's some photos.
Grant's Formal. Scrubbed up quite well I think.
The standard Mum and Dad shot.
Delivered in Dad's Green Bucket (aka Emerald Pony)
The Goob all dressed up.
Just one of many pressies for the not-so-big-anymore Boy.
This years Xmas cards, went for a simple design but still procrastinated much.
Embossed with some glitz and bling.
Layered foil star with bling, 3D mounted.
My precious Bonnie all tuckered out.
Birthday Card for Godson's brother.
So between ANC activities - Remembrance Day and Tri-Service Parade - we are on a break, well technically the Cadets are, got a few things to get done before we head back in a few weeks.
With all of the Xmas celebrations over for another year, it's a matter of packing away the festive pretties and getting a start on school preparations, I do enjoy the shopping for school supplies...I think it's the stationary fetish and the love of matching bits....and of course adding some much wanted new supplies to my stash. I did have another play on eBay, scored an Expression bundle for a friend and did add to my cartridge collection, just waiting for delivery of the last two won.
For those that read, I hope you had a great Xmas and enjoy the year ahead..
