Not because I haven't been creating..but because they are a secret...well, sort of....I actually entered the SM Masters Comp. I'm not expecting a win or anything...I really just enjoyed the challenges set out...most of my ideas 'just worked' I mean it would be nice to get some sort of recognition, but I won't be the least bit disappointed if it doesn't happen. I'm happy with all of my creations and that is the main thing...Give me a month or so and I can share...until then, stay tuned...

Miss Megg's Party bits continued....
Now this is the 'Claytons' centre piece (the centre piece you have when not having a centre piece.....LOL..LOL...very old joke...lost some of you by age haven't I??) forgot to put it on the table...sat on the TV unit in the other room away from little hands...anyway...I was up until 4 am finishing off this baby on Friday night/Saturday morning...this one I do remember the inspiration...the ever talented Jen Hall made similar for T-birds party...thanks Jen for all of your inspiration...back to this one....the base is a cup filled with stones from the garden then topped with glass ones...added the balloons to the base ...the wire is soft stainless from Dad...got boxes of it.. put away for 'something'...Herbie cut the flowers then I added kindy glitz..(yes I am slow off the mark with this stuff...bought my first ever bottle on Friday) and bling....the butterflies are the vellum ones I'm soo in love with lately..yep with a touch of glitz....the #6 is cut from the silver mirror card...not that it photographs very well.... then the pearl looking curling ribbon added...was going to add Miss Megg's name but was getting a bit late/early in the day....
These are the lolly cups to take home....each one has a flower cut by Herbie on the top with a lollypop centre....the cups were filled with the usual lollies and a few other bits...sticker sheet, bendy pencil, bouncy ball and girls had bangle and boys monster finger puppets....I guess they were a hit...names were written on jewellery tags and tied to the lollypop stick.....one problem that occured was the flower wanted to fall off...the lollypop stick wasn't quite long enough to support it's weight...but then with more time I guess I could have added a longer stick of sorts...keep that in mind for next time...LOL.....NEXT TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!! What am I thinking...!!I will credit this idea when I find the name....that will teach me to surf and save and forget the name...haha...ok this is an edit bit...went looking for the inspiring lady, as promised...her name is Roree Rumph...has a blogger under the name roree.. This is the 'pin the wings on the fairy' game that I made...the fairy was inspired by a Paper Salon stamp..altered of course..I used my water colour pencils and H2O pen to blend just a touch of colour to it...then laminated it all. Quite stoked with it, and of course I had a witness to my drawing talents..LOL..
