S’more Inspiration

This is a bittersweet post to write today.  The content is sweet but I am sad to say this is my last project for The Curtsey Boutique.  I’ve had a great run with them and the products have been super fun to play with but my plate has been quite full for a while now and change is sometimes good for the soul!  I’m sure I will still be using lots of Curtsy Boutique embellishments in my projects in the future, regardless.

Smores-Kit

I love the possibilities for these wood berry baskets.  This would be the perfect gift for an end of summer BBQ.

The marshmallows are in a decorated glassine bag, with a Hershey bar of course, and the graham crackers are in a glassine envelop tied with twine and a chalkboard tag.

Now to just avoid eating it before I give it!

Smart Cookie Teacher Gifts

Oh, shocker!  I am late posting these.  ::sigh::  One of these days I will actually manage to post time/holiday sensitive things on time!  Until then feel free to file this under ideas for next year.

Cookie-Bags

I whipped these goodies up for the Curtsey Boutique using there kraft bags, doilies, seam binding, twine, and chalkboard tags.

Cookie-Bag-final

Each bag is filled with a glassine bag containing chocolate chip cookies!  And the front reads “Thanks to you I am one smart cookie”… so simple and inexpensive but CUTE!

You can see my step by step tutorial on the Curtsey Boutique blog.

Brown paper packages tied up with… seam binding

Hey everyone!

Today I’m showing you a sweet little box I made with Pink Paislee Hope Chest paper and embellishments from The Curtsey Boutique

Spring-Gift-Box

I covered the kraft box in paper panels and wrapped the seam binding around it in such a way that the top can still open.

Spring-Gift-Box-front

I used a glitter corrugate frame on the front with a bit of floral paper and a sentiment sticker. I love these soft, spring-y colors!

Spring-Gift-Box-top

I layered all sorts of pretty shtuff on the top… a paper doily, glitter pennants, fabric flowers, felt rose, and a burlap butterfly.  It’s going to be just right to hold a little something sweet for Mother’s Day!

Thanks for stopping by!

Tutorial: Instagram File Mini Album

Today I’m calling you over to The Curtsey Boutique blog to check out my tutorial for this cool glassine envelope file mini album that is the perfect size to hold Instagram photos.  I made mine as a showcase for a week’s worth of everyday life snapshots.

So fun! I used On the Bright Side from My Mind’s Eye for this and of course lots of fun embellishments from The Curtsey Boutique!

I am linking this up to the Instalove Paper Issues theme... go link up your instagram projects and enter to win a set of printed Instagram photos from Origrami!

Out of Envelopes? No Problem!

Why is it that I have a hard time buying 5 x 7 envelopes in a pack without cards?!  You’d think this would be an easy thing to find but it seems I either have to buy them in a pack with blank cards or purchase eleventy billion envelopes in a carton at the big office stores.

Ok, FINE, whatever!  I’ll make my own, thankyouverymuch.

This sort of envelope is best suited to cards that you will not be mailing, for obvious reasons.
Alex-Card-Set

I used Fancy Pants Designs’ Blissful Blizzard and goodies from The Curtsey Boutique on this set that is a welcome card for a new baby boy.

Wedding Box Tutorial

Have you seen my tutorial for this wedding box over on The Curtsey Boutique blog?  I call it a favor box but it is large enough to be a gift box for something small (ya know… like a check or gift card! ::wink wink::) for the happy couple.  I always like to dress up the packaging to make a gift personal and extra special.
