Well it seems like we were just in Las Vegas, but guess what, we are going back. Barry wants to go to the Mint 400 for some nostalgia. They have brought this race back and since we used to go every year back in the 70's and 80's it just seems like the right thing to do. They are having Tech inspection down Fremont Street they way it used to be. We are looking forward to spending the day downtown and then back to South Pointe where we are staying. Barry and Andy will head out to the race early Saturday morning and I am going to stay back and the hotel and just relax and work on feeling better.
I still have the cough that I have had for about a week, but it is getting much better. I am looking forward to having a day off work tomorrow and spending the weekend away doing whatever I feel like doing.
Have a great weekend and I will check back in when we get back. Wish me luck!

This is a card that I made this weekend for one of the challenges over at Scrappin Coast 2 Coast. The crop has been extended until this weekend, I am glad about that because I was sick in bed most of the weekend and didn't get any scrapping done, so hopefully I will be able to get some done this week.
I can't believe that it is already the last week of the month and the first quarter of the year will be behind us. Where is the time going???
Have a great week everyone!

The last of the scrappiness from Sedona
We had such a good time in Sedona and we're actually able to get some layouts completed. These are a couple pages that I did from some pictures we took at California Adventure last March when Donna, Anne and the girls came out to California.
These pages were from pictures taken when Barry and I went up to Concord in October 2007. We had a great dinner at Humphreys which is right on the river.
This page was done as a progressive layout. Everyone brings some pictures, paper, and embellishments to the table. You start by moving over one space and start working on a layout for 5 minutes. At the end of 5 minutes you stop whatever you are doing and move over to the next spot. You keep going 5 minutes at a time until you get back to your own layout. I was not going to do this, but decided in the end to pull some stuff and join in. It was a lot of fun and I really like the way the layout turned out. If you haven't ever done this you should give it a try some time.

Another Week Almost Over
I can hardly believe that another week is almost over. It has been so crazy busy lately. My sister was here last weekend and left on Wednesday. We got together to scrap on Sunday and she made several cards. I spent most of the time making my cards for the February card swap over at Scrappin Coast 2 Coast. It hasn't been shown over there yet, so I will have to wait to show a picture, but I should be able to post it by this weekend. I didn't get anything else done, but I did get my table cleared off and my stuff from my Sedona trip put away. So now when I have some extra time I will be able to go in and work on something. I hope to get some scrapping done over the next week or so. Natalie is hosting a weekend crop starting a week from tonight over at SC2C. I hope that you will stop by and join us. Have a great Friday the 13th everyone!

Back from Las Vegas
We had a great time in Las Vegas this past weekend. We went to watch the qualifications for Nascar on Friday, bowled on Saturday and back to Nascar for the cup race on Sunday. I will share a few pictures later this week when I get them uploaded from the camera.
Here are a few more of the pages that I did in Sedona.
