Boxes, Boxes and more Boxes!!!

Hello all!!

Whew, this week went by fast! I got Super excited about this week's challenge. We were to create something using the box templates over at The Cutting Cafe. This was so fun. In the video, you can see I got a bit o' crazy wih them! There were quite a few ideas for you craft fair ladies, so you might want to check it out.

Here is a pic of some of the things I created:

I made a couple of Note Boxes using the stationery set, a pencil box, a couple pillow boxes, a nesting box set and a cutesy tiny box! They were so simple and quick to make.. Go ahead and enjoy yourself too!

Altered Photo Album

Hey all!

I have an altered project for you today! It is one of those 12x12 mini albums. I made this project for a customer's 30 wedding anniversary. She absolutely loved it!!! I used Recollections, DCWV, lace from Joanns, a cherry bush from Michael's and some flat back pearls. I love creating this!

Homemade Pumpkin Cupcakes and Buttercream Frosting!!

Yes, from scratch baby!! I have caught myself a cold - however these cupcakes managed to lift my spirits a bit! This is a design team project from TheCuttingCafe. This weeks inspiration was to use any Halloween Set. This is another awesome set designed by the one and ony Regina Easter!

I made these cupcakes and used many of the sentiment from the set to adorn the cupcakes as toppers. It turned out beautifully!

Handmade Halloween Basket and Card

Hey again!

Boy do I have a "treat" for you all! I have a basket of goodies to share! TheCuttingCafe has a new Halloween Monster set available for purchase. I love these cute little monsters.. Kinda reminds you of the nice monsters..Like on Monster's Inc. (the movie?) Ok, maybe I am the only adult that still watches those kind of movies - but in my defense I do have 4 children.. You can kinda get hooked on those..

Anywhoo, check out my video of the basket and the three by three card..I made it with the set and popped that cute little bugger on some dots.. So CUTE!!

So now on the basket..Super cute..I made it all by myself..(now I sound like my kindergartner, lol)

Case it Tuesdays at the Cafe : Card Share

Happy Fall Mini Album

Happy Fall Everyone!! Yes, it's sad to see the summer go - but we must move on, right? Well, I have something that just may get you in the mood: a mini album!! Yay!! TheCuttingCafe has an awesome fall set available!! I used a lots of the sentiments from the collection as well as the images. I am soo getting used to fussy cutting!! I love the little pumpkins!

We had such a blast at the apple orchard! The kids got to pick apples themselves - this was a first for the girls! We rode the tracker a few times - it was soo fun to see the cool extra's they put in the forest.. Anywhoo, I can go on and on..

I hope you guys like the album - hope it helps to get you in the "fall" mood!!

Design Team Project: Halloween Bingo Wall Hanging

So, this was my first time trying to make a wall hanging and I have to say while it was a challenge - I think it turned out awesome! I used the HALLOWEEN BINGO set over at Thecuttingcafe.

I have attached velcro to assist in keeping the "doors" closed. You could also use magnets(available on the right - if you're interested). I will journal on the inside about the events that happened that night. I enjoyed making this and I actually look forward to making more.. Maybe Christmas??

The Cutting Cafe - Design Team Project - Grateful Mini Album

Hello All!!

Whew! I have been busy in my craftroom this weekend! This is a design team project from The Cutting Cafe. I was so inspired by the sentiment set that I decided to create a mini album around it. I can do this yearly and look back at the wonderful growth of my family and all that it entails. I really had an awesome time creating this. Visit the "coolest" scrap boss (Regina) a girl could have here.
