Love this layout created for 49 and Market

Hi there 49 and Market fans, it is Hetty here with you today, welcome back to the blog!
I have to start by saying that Janene the boss lady has really outdone herself with these stunning Mini Collections. The art work on these papers are so so beautiful and detailed. It is hard to pick a favourite but if I have to I would say the Serendipitous Mini Collection is my absolute favourite. I mean, have a look at those papers! If you haven’t got this collection yet I can highly recommend it, you won’t be disappointed.

So for my background I used the “Rainstorm” paper, I just worked with all the gorgeous details on the paper to start my design. Once I picked my photo, I started adding the beautiful new flowers, the Enchanted Petals. How gorgeous is that Twilight colour?

To finish the layout I added the matching Layered Embellishments as well as the matching Laser Cuts and tucked them amongst my flowers and my title is Dusty Attic Chipboard. That was it, easy peasy.

Handmade layout created for Kaisercraft

October 20, 2019
Hi there Kaiser Fans it is Hetty with you again today sharing a layout using the lovely soft colours and prints in the Crafternoon collection. This collection suits all sort of themes but for this layout I choose a crafty photo seeing that was what this collection was created for.
PRODUCTS USED:
PAPERS: P2844 Embroidery|P2841 Back Stitch|CT 972 Collectables|
KC PRODUCTS: Rhinestone Flourish|foam dots
I think the black and white photo really stands out against the soft pastel colours and I just love all those printed stitched embellishments.
I kept this layout pretty simply and tried to work with the design on the printed paper. I tend to this a lot as all the hard work is done for you but still makes for a fantastic layout. So I added a bit of colour behind my photo to make it pop a little and started working on my design by arranging all my collectable die cut pieces. I tried to pick pieces relevant to the photo even though they use pencils I thought the brushes and pallet fitted in just fine. I layered everything with foam dots, I find the extra dimension really makes a layout come to life.
You will be able to find full instructions for this layout here.
Before I go I thought I would share a second layout I made with this collection. On this one I used a lot of fussy cutting so there was a bit more work involved with this one but love how it turned out.
That is all for me for now, happy crafting!
Until next time….

Totally Pawsome layout created for Dusty attic October Moodboard

Hello Friends, welcome back to another layout share. Today I am sharing my take on this months gorgeous Moodboard, such stunning earthy colours. I love playing along with all the moodboards as all the hard work is done for you, deciding on the colour combo.

Totally Pawsome

I started this layout by adding black gesso to the Heart Attack Stencil. Once dry I added my photo to the middle of the stencil and worked on my design from there. The leafy Garland was painted with some Dusty in Colour Forrest and layered below my photo. I knew exactly what title to use for this layout and all I did was painted it in some metallique paint and alsoplaced it below my photo on top of the Leafy Garland. Next I started working on my flowers which are made from Foamiran. I made several different sizes using a combination of stamens and beads and arranged my around my photo. The couple of cat chippies were covered in distress embossing powder and lightly smeared with some gold wax to highlight and give it some grunge. The little paw prints were also covered in distress embossing powder in a different colour. Finally I added the little leaf stems which were just painted with some olive Dusty in colour paint and tucked them among my flowers. Finally and added the little cats in between the flowers also on both the left and right sides of my photo.

The Ultimate Photo layout created for 49 and Market

Hi there friends, welcome once more to the 49 and Market blog, it is Hetty with you today. I have been playing some more with the Vintage Remnants papers and Laser Cuts. I had a few laser cuts left over and just wanted to use them up so they don’t get lost. I found this photo of this elderly gentleman and just loved the character showing in his face and thought it a great match for the papers I used.

The design of the layout started with me layering some of the laser cuts to create a photo mat, of course I used lots of dimension. Next I used a die cut to cut some black cardstock and added it to my background for a little added texture. The background is so gorgeous to start with it doesn’t need much of anything added but love the pop of black.
Next I arranged the gorgeous flowers around my photo, added some burlap and twine. I keep this little basket of odds and ends and found a left over piece of archival board circle which I added as an after thought to the right of the photo and on top of that added my chipboard title which of course is from the Dusty Attic, painted in black gesso.

For the finishing touch I added the scissors and the little bird and that was me done.

Thanks heaps for dropping in, hope to see you again soon.

The best thing about Memories is.......layout created for The Dusty Attic

Hey there everyone and welcome back to the blog. Today I would like to share with you a layout created solely using Dusty Attic Chippies and Stencil. The only other product I used was a few 49 and Market flowers, paints and embossing powders.

The Best Thing about Memories is making them.

Once I picked all my Dusty Attic Chipboard pieces I went about layering them all together to create a frame for my photo. Once I was happy with my design I glued it all together and covered it in a layer of black Gesso combined with some texture sand as I wanted to give it a bit of grunge.
Once this was dry I sprayed it with a couple of different ink sprays and waxes. For my background I used some black cardstock and added the Sunburst Stencil and some heavy white gesso. I than placed my chipboard frame on top of that, covered the frame on top of the photo, the sentiment and the stars with silver embossing powder and added a couple of 49 and Market flowers.

So there you have it, a little different for me but I like how it turned out.
Until next time
