It's Got To be....Sookie!!!

I love this image from Tickled Pink Stamps, as soon as I saw the name, I knew I had to have her (Sookie just like my beloved Scottish Foldy). Sookie is coloured with my copics and has a little stickles added to various parts of her outfit and jewellery.
The sketch is from Cards and Things, DP is Papermania "Naughty or Nice", ribbon is from my stash, stars are actually from an old necklace, sentiment is
Inky Impressions and behind the image is the cover of a CD stack (it's clear plastic). I also created this for the following challenges:
Creative Card Crew - Sparkle and Shine (sparkly stars, stickles on Sookie, shiny ribbon)
KAH Wink E Dink - Birthday Card (this is for The Wah's little friends 11th birthday)
Papertake Weekly - 3 of something, 2 of another, 1 of another (3 layers on the ribbony bows, 2 DP, 1 clear plastic CD)
Penny's Paper Crafty - Pink and Green (main image is pink and green...including the hair)
Stamp With Fun - card for a girl (well, I don't think any of Zak's friends would appreciate this LOL).
So thats all from me tonight, kids have been off school all week, but hopefully will go tomorrow so I have time to create.

Let Me Be Your Hero!!!

I am starting to get a feel for these male cards (I am following the KISS philosophy -keep it simple stupid). Over at Tickled Pink they had a sketch which I followed, my image is from Mo's Digital Pencil coloured with my beloved copics, DP is a half sheet of Kaisercraft "Superhero" I found that came from who knows where. Brads, button are random from my stash, sentiment is from Scrapping Sisters. I am also entering this in the following:
Stamp with Fun - Fairytale (superheros are sort of a fairytale...aren't they)
Magical Crafts - Male card (my superhero fits perfectly)

Must fly, cooking chicken and baked potatoes for tea (have I mentioned how much I love winter food)...oh and Grandma turned up with chocolate mousse because her dinner guest cancelled (what a shame, but lucky for me;0)

Christmas in May!!!

Ok, I said it, that word that brings chills to the wallet - Christmas, Narny and I decided we needed to start making christmas cards now so that by Christmas we would have a selection of nice cards and not a selection of rushed cards. This card uses the Stamp with Fun sketch challenge, image is from Chrissy Armstrong coloured with my copics, paper is Kaiser "Christmas Carnival", flowers, pearls and buttons are from my stash and punch is MS, text is created by me. I am also entering this card in the following Challenges:
Sundays with Chrissy - Layers (Under Santa to the right I have 6 layers of different papers and cardstock)
One Stitch at a Time - Furry friends (who can resist that little birdie)
Pile It On - Out of the Box (I never cut things out of my DP, so its "Out of My Comfort Box" to cut out that tree in the left corner and use it on a card)

Ok, have to go start my baked potatoes to go with my roast dinner mmmmmm I love winter just for the food (although I do have a very umm unusual diet...I am a little fussy).
