OK, I know I have been a big time slacker with my blog. But with the new year, I am turning over a new leaf. I will not procrastinate any more! Not only with blogging but with everything in my life! I don't know why I have such a hard time with procrastination but I do. Anyway, that is my New Year's Resolution- to quit procrastinating!! So, here is our life from the last month. Except, that Masen had his 6th birthday on December 27th and I didn't have my camera. We were in Utah and I forgot my camera, AGAIN!! He had a great day and had lots of family around to help him celebrate. We love you Masen!!
The Saturday before Christmas we were invited to go sledding with some friends in our ward up by Powder Horn Ski Resort. It was a FREEZING day but other than that it was really fun. The kids all had a blast but were ready to go within about 30 minutes because of the ridiculous temperature. As you can see by the last couple of pics, Kaylen HATED being cold. By the end of our trip, she was sreaming!! Oh, and Scott didn't go in the outfit pictured in the first shot here. Unfortunately, he thought he might stand out a little too much so he put snow pants and a coat.
Here are some long overdue pictures of Christmas. We had lots of fun! Christmas Eve day, Scott had to work in the morning. So, the kids and I played games and put a puzzle together. That night, we read the story of the birth of our Savior and opened new pajamas. Christmas morning was lots of fun and chaos! The kids all got just what they asked for. I guess they must have been good kids all year!!
These next pictures are of Brae and her cousins Savanna and Emily. The had a CRAZY New Year's Eve sleep-over at Savanna's dad's house. They played games, watched movies and had lots of fun! Maybe a little too much fun judging by the tired looks on their faces!!
This is a picture of Kaylen all ready to go to church. My mom cut her hair while we were in Utah and she did a great job. Now all I have to do is put a little spray gel in her hair and scrunch it a little bit and this is the result! I think I might have to keep her hair short because she will not keep bow, barretts, or elastics in her hair!
