Memorable Memorial Weekend

The Whites came up for a couple days and we had a fun afternoon at the park and then had the classic Memorial Day BBQ.

Future Missionaries Monday we hiked up the the Wind Caves in Logan Canyon. It was beautiful. I am not going to lie to you Owen is a big guy to carry up a mountain in a little snuggli but it was great exercise and the boys did great.

Summer Vacation?

Scott took a week off from work this summer because he was taking a week long class that was from 8-5 Monday through Friday. Long story short the class got cancelled and we ended up with a week totally free of any responsibility. Priceless, we felt we needed to do something but we found out on Monday afternoon and with no time to plan and little spending freedom we decided that we would go camping in Salt Lake. Spencer and Scott slept in the tent in my parents backyard while Owen and I enjoyed cozy beds. Spencer loved the tent once the wind stopped and I know he will be the little camper his dad wants him to be.














We spent one day at the Zoo. So simple but much enjoyed. It was so nice to spend and entire day with our little family. Highlights:


-First outing with my Mothers Day gift, a double stroller. Thanks KSL for a great deal

-All the classic photo ops that come with a trip to the Zoo

-Spencer pooped in a public toilet for the first time. I was so proud Ü

-Owen slept the whole time

-Scott and I discovered that we can still spend a whole day together and not run out of things to talk about. Even after 5 years.
