And we are back...

So apparently there was suspicious activity on my gmail account or something about the password and that is why my blog has been down. It's connected to an account that I don't even use anymore, so who knows what caused it... anyway we are back and I will try to keep everyone posted on our lives a little better than I did in the past year.

Some current updates are that we bought our first house! It's just over 1100 sq. ft. so it's super small, but it is on an acre and has about 15 mature fruit trees on it and a big back patio. The house is old so we are trying to update it before we move in (in less than 3 weeks) and I haven't even started packing... we don't even have a box to start packing in yet. Oh, why does my life have to involve chaotic stress? Things are going ok for us, we lost a family member recently which was very hard for me, but our girls are doing well and Scott is still working his hiney off. I am looking forward to Christmas and everything that comes with it. Hopefully next year will be a little smoother for us.

So, I have been not "fixing myself up" lately and it is starting to really get to me. I just looked at some pics from when I used to do my hair and put on makeup and realized that I need to start caring about my image again and spending more than 1 minute on either hair or makeup. On a brighter note, my girls sure look cute most of the time, even if I only spend 1 minute on their hair (or Scott does, ha ha!)

We all loaded into the car the other day to get out of the house just before dinner and didn't have much of a plan of where to go... so we thought we would go out for ice cream. We pulled up to Cold Stone and neither Scott or I started getting out. We looked at each other and realized that we really didn't want ice cream but since Frances was told she was getting a treat we drove over to a Starbucks and let her pick out a treat, then drove home. It was good to get out of the house, but I can't wait to start doing fun things again.
