I Love This Game !

Finally, it was time for our super tall Parker to follow in his Daddy's footsteps and learn the game of basketball! Parker as usual, was super excited to play a sport and to have his good friends on his team. He tolerated the practice time, but REALLY came alive at game time. Parker made most of the game points, but was also good at passing and making sure his friends were involved . I can't believe how good it feels to watch your baby succeed and excel (expecially in something you were not the best at), he makes me smile to watch him gather his team for a "huddle" or as he "calls" out plays. I laugh when I see him furrow his brow and stick out his tongue in consetration. The other night Ryan said out of no where..." I can't stop smiling, when I think about how Parker just kept putting up those baskets, he made it look effortless". I guess all those games Parker watched of his Daddy's made an impression :) I hope he continues to practice and work...who knows maybe I won't have to pay for college !

He dribbles, he works to get to the paint, he shoots and SCORES!

STAY TUNED FOR OUR AIR-JORDAN HIGHLIGHTS !
I just have to wait for other computer to be fixed and get his pictures off of it.

Five Months of Fabulous-ness!

Another month of life with the most perfect little baby girl! She brings such joy and love into our home everyday. This month she has begun to try to sit up all by herself, if you lay her down she does a tummy crunch until she is sitting (wow, she has some serious tummy muscles!) She is super strong, Taleah loves to stand up and look around at her surroundings. Taleah LOVES her brothers and has discovered that if she stays awake in the car, she can watch her brothers and laugh at their antics! (the boys loves their new roles of jester for the Princess!) Parker and Jordan can ALWAYS get Taleah to laugh! It is getting harder to take Taleah's picture with her monkey friend...this month it was more of a wrestling/eating match between the two ;) I'm loving how my little preemie has filled out, Ryan is always saying that he wants to "eat her cheeks" because they are so cute...I must say I have to agree! We love this precious princess!

Our Day of Love...

Happy Valentines Day! We had a wonderful day full of fun and LOVE. Jordan had a fun party at preschool complete with games, cookie decorating and valentine exchange. He came home with a "Love Bug" hat, he said he would share it with his Aunt Laura (Love Bug). Taleah and I got to go help at Parker's party at school. It was fun to meet all his friends and to play "musical chairs" with the kids. I found these fun Heart pants and fabulous heart JELLY shoes (isn't is amazing how far things have come since the 80's!) for Taleah... have I told you how much I love dressing a girl :) I especially love the picture of my three cupids...they bring infinite love into our home!
What says "Valentines Day" like a trip to the Dentist? I'm not sure what I was thinking scheduling it on this day, but it worked out I guess. The boys were excited to explore the new office and love all the new technology. We had another perfect check up, and Taleah enjoyed meeting the Dentist!

On our way to the dentist, the boys and I stopped and "Heart-attacked" Daddy at work. I think he enjoyed the chocolates and tolerated the balloons, lipstick and confetti. Several ladies came out to see our master piece, Ryan LOVED all the attention I'm sure ;) To top off the day, Ryan and I (+ one) went on a romantic dinner to the Olive Garden. Nothing says love like NOT having to cook dinner !

HAPPY VALENTINES EVERYONE !

My Domestic Diva Adventure

So, first I want to say that our computer is a little sick (like the rest of the world) so I have a little catching up to do. I know that this post looks like something that belongs in Aug/Sept, but this adventure happened in Feb. We were able to get a great deal on fresh tomatoes from Bountiful Baskets and thought...why not let's try to follow the great examples around us and bottle them. Ryan and I tried stewed tomatoes (14 bottles)first and that went really well, then we did 28 bottles of juice and then got really brave and did 24 jars of salsa ! We had 100% success rate and had fun learning together. I must say that the salsa is our favorite and we can't stop eating it, not very good for food storage...it won't last long at this rate! Thanks everyone who helped us and gave much needed advice! Thanks Mom for lending us your equipment. Stop by for some chips and salsa!
