Jack turned two and we had fun celebrating with him. We took him to his favorite restaurant and then we had cake and ice cream with friends and family- (aunt Sherri was in town which was great! )We actually got him to stand for a couple seconds on his own.I remember that on his first birthday he was not even crawling yet...he sure is working hard to grow up! We really love and appreciate this sweet little guy!

Clark just finished a mural of NYC at a new Italian Pizzeria which is still under construction It turned out to be a nice looking piece. Hidden in the painting ,if you know where to look , there are some fun surprises; Spiderman and Homer Simpson to name two.

Jack just loved the light up and singing reindeer from aunt Heidi!

Merry Christmas!
K12 had a field trip to The Discovery Gateway museum and the Robot exhibit was a bunch of fun for the kids. Mari and Caleb joined us and we had a terrific lunch afterwards in the city.

Winter fun continues with an ice skating excursion. The kids had a great time with cousin Julia. Poor ,Clark, wobbled a lot until he got some skates that were extra tight! Gabe took to it boldly and Nate made us proud when he started out clinging to the wall and by the end was bravely sliding around on his own.

We are so proud of Gabe's progress with the violin. He performed with the ALA orchestra in a Christmas concert with the older class. He really seems to enjoy it and it is a lot of fun to watch him play.

My birthday was so much fun! Ali took me and my friend Darlene to lunch- then she cleaned my house! In the evening we had cake (made by Clark) and yummy food- (more from Ali) and friends and gifts!! The best gift ever was the one that Clark offered : two days to myself in a hotel to work on my novel! It was terrific and I got a bunch done- amazing what can be accomplished when I don't have any other obligations. I was very grateful to my sweetie and to Ali who helped watch the kids during my great escape!!! It was a terrific birthday weekend! I have the best family and friends in the world.

When the weather outside is frightful- it is time to make gingerbread!!

We all had fun watching Julia and Bethany perform at their Christmas dance concert.

To celebrate Jamie's 100th birthday we gathered and enjoyed a tapas dinner. We had a terrific time at the old guy's expense. Seriously, though- we had a great time- good food, good friends and no matter how old Jamie gets he still is as young as ever. You're the man, Jamie.
