i've been so lazy to log in and post, but today i decided to post. why? because syf is over! :) hahah. congrats to all you sc dancers! i managed to watch the international piece and it was oh so lovely. so many of you have grown so much and become such beautiful dancers.
to the chinese dancers, good job guys! i think that it's a great achievement that scgs actually got a GOLD for CHINESE dance! hahahaa. i'm sure you all worked really hard for it. cant wait to see the piece.
time really flies, it seems like just yesterday when i auditioned to join dance in scgs. since then, we've all grown up. xujie's first item with us was so disorganised (haha) but look at tpjc's syf piece! he's come so far since then, and now he's gone from being a good choreographer, to a super good one! shanice and eryn, seeing you guys dance at syf, we seniors really wanted to cry. it's so so beautiful. for those in jc now, a lot of us have worked on the perfect foundation that sc dance gave us and have learnt how to perform. :) i'm sure even hsien fa has learnt to adapt to you guys. when he first came in at the end of '05, he treated us like total stangers. which we were. but now, he's been working with you guys for so long, and the relationship has changed. i'm sure he's very very proud of you guys too. :)
treasure sc dance whilst you can, but know that even after graduation, that part of scgs dance will still be within you, and when you dance, it's that sc dancer that shines through.
i MISS and LOVE you guys loads!

sc dance is the best thing that ever happened to me.
i remember in sec one, i wanted to leave and do ip the next year because i was convinced mrs chan hated me and everyone was laughing at me when i did stuff from the corner.
then in sec two, i just knew hsienfa hated me, and because i felt like such a loser in his classes, i sometimes ponned them and when i went, i did everything half-, or even quarter-, heartedly.
i suppose the turning point was when he was picking out people for starlight, and there were first class (first cast) and second class (second cast) people, and also the cargo. (airline imagery) i remember i was in the cargo and i was so like.. EWLANSLKDNALKSNCKALN. haha. for a while i was resigned to my fate. then i decided that i was not going to waste my time sitting around watching other people dance (very very very nicely, might i add).
and now i am so extremely happy that i was too lazy to sign up for whatever ip thing.
i guess i'm just trying to say that how awesome the scdance experience is is up to you. and you should JUST DO IT (although hsienfa says 'don't nike') and JUST DANCE. who cares if people laugh at you (anyway they won't, or if they do it's usually done good-naturedly because scdancers = nice people). and if you fall down then fall down lor, funny what. haha. and everyone falls down. and everyone will forget it the next day.
anyway, i was just supposed to thank everyone for making me so happy everytime we have cca. haha. :) oh and thank you for making my only syf a gold WITH HONOURS one.
scdance gave me the coolest friends EVER.
