Much love

Thank you so much yesterday for all your encouraging comments regarding my weight loss. Your support is so valuable and thank you for sharing your stories too. Blogland is full of amazing and inspiring people.

So far I am staying on track and yesterday I turned down a Pain au Chocolat (which I adore) and a Krispy Kreme donut/doughnut. They were doing the rounds at work and there was enough for everyone to have one of each, but I declined. And whilst everyone else felt a bit stuffed at the end of the day, I felt fine and didn't even feel like I had missed out.

I know some weeks it won't be easy but the long term goal will be well worth it.

Thanks again all you wonderful people and have a brilliant, healthy and happy day!

Helen xx

ps....I didn't fall off the wagon with this cake, it was taken a while ago and if I remember rightly, it tasted lovely too! (my colleagues mum made it!)

Well done you! You are made of sterner stuff than I am...Krispy Kreme oh how I miss them! Tim Horton just doesn't do it for me...I suppose that's a blessing really LOL!

And thank you for your encouraging comments xx

Dear Helen, I've only just caught up with your last couple of posts. That photo you posted of yourself is lovely - you are so pretty! I wish you all the best for your weight loss journey. I know you can do it.

I think this turning 40 puts a bit of fear into us women, yes? I'm 40 in five months and I feel very similar to how you describe.

I don't want to lose weight [well, may be just a few kilos] but I do want to commit to regular exercise because I love it and I know it is good for me, both physically and mentally. But when I get busy ... exercise is the first thing to go.

We can encourage each other along!
