Paper Smooches NEW PRODUCT Feature GIVEAWAY

I am THRILLLLLLLLED to be joining in the fun with Kim and the Paper Smooches team for the PS New Product sneak peeks!!!

DETAILS and GIVEAWAY info: 
Paper Smooches is showing off their CHA release during the entire month of January. 37 designers are participating along with the PS DT, so there will be a ton of projects to inspire you this month!! Paper Smooches is known for their fun and whimsical hand-drawn stamps. They decided that it was time to broaden their product line to include DIES and wood mount stamps! 

I have a couple of projects to share using NEW PS product that releases on February 1, 2013 at www.papersmoochesstamps.com along with many retail stores around the globe.

You will find a new blog link (or two) to follow every day in January at the PS blog {HERE}.  Paper Smooches is giving away $500 worth of product!!!!! Hidden on FIVE of the participating blogs is a prize package worth $100 each. The prize includes a variety of stamp sets, wood mounts, and dies. Comment on as many blogs as you can to increase your chances to be one of the five winners!!! Deadline is January 30th--winners will be announced on the PS blog on January 31st. 

I'm sharing several creations today--I just LOVE LOVE LOVE my PS stamps! I was lucky enough to get the new Ampersand dies {which coordinate with the We Connect stamp set} to play with. LOVE!!! I made a CAS card for my first card. I used THIS technique and reversed it...so it's a reverse dry embossing with a die.

I made another simple card using some Pebbles With Love papers and the PS ampersand die and two other PS stamps. 

I also made a mini card using Basic Grey papers {available HERE from the RC} and the PS Spookalicious, FOLKal Points, and We Connect stamp sets.

This forth card uses My Mind's Eye papers as well as red ribbon {available HERE from the Ribbon Carousel}. I used the PS We Connect, Vogue Abode, and Falling For You stamp sets.

For my last card, I paired the ampersand dies with sentiments from the PS Chit Chat and Falling For You stamp sets, as well as papers from My Mind's Eye. LOOOOOVE! 

There's SOOOOOOO much you can do with these dies! LOOOOOOOVE Paper Smooches stamps!

Paper Smooches SPARKS Jan. Trend Watch

Hello, friends:}

Today we start another weekly challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS blog!! The first week of the month is always a TRENDS WATCH challenge. 

This week we are inspired by the following photo:

I was thrown a bit on this challenge--VINTAGE??? So not my style! I needed a birthday card for my FIL....so I started to think about the word "vintage". That's where this unconventional bday card design came from-- my FIL is considered "vintage"....so I looked in my paper stash for "vintage" papers {Echo Park This & That Charming collection- available HERE at the RC}. I think these match perfectly for this challenge, as well as the vintage camera image {PS Knick Knacks}. So I think this card fits;) I inked up several other Paper Smooches stamps sets including Falling For You, Birthday Buddies, and Alphadot. LOVE that definition of vintage...wait a minute! 20+ years??? I guess I'm vintage too! LOL!

Paper Smooches SPARKS extra #3

Hello, friends:}

This is my final Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge card for this week's challenge--it's the EASIEST challenge EVER!! This week is ANYTHING GOES-- link up any creation using your Paper Smooches stamps!! 

For my fourth card, I made an unconventional birthday card for my Mother-In-Law, Lori. She is the MOST AMAZING MIL ever!!! She is always cooking and cleaning and working....so I decided to make a card that tells her to "take a break & celebrate"! I used the October Afternoon Cakewalk collection {available HERE from the Ribbon Carousel} along with my PS Squeaky Clean, Sugar Rush, Pip Squeaks, Giddy Bugs, and Hubby and Wifey stamp sets. LOOOOOVE how this turned out! 

Happy birthday, Lori!!! I hope you took some time off today and just celebrated YOU!!!

Pretty Gift Wrapping with Whisker Graphics

Hello, friends:}

I have a quick post to share with you today! 

I wanted to "spruce up" my gift wrapping for a friend's birthday present, so I pulled out some Whisker Graphics Divine Twine {Cotton Candy and Orange} and a small pink tag. It was the PERFECT touch to this present!!! I created the monogram with some Imaginisce iRock gems. LOVE LOVE LOVE how this turned out!

For my third card, I joined in the fun with the Create: CARDS color challenge as well. Paper Smooches is sponsoring this challenge! 

My card is SUPER easy and CAS. I am wondering if I should add more brads {I used one from the My Mind's Eye The Sweetest Thing collection-- available HERE from the RC} or maybe a staple...but for now I'm just leaving it the way it is:) I used some SEI aqua paper along with my Crate Paper Acorn Avenue collection {available HERE from the Ribbon Carousel}. I mixed and matched stamps from the PS Simply Said, Hot Concoctions, and Cyber Cafe sets. LOOOOOOOVE it! 

Oops--looks like my light grey is a bit lighter than the color story above! :)

I'm sharing a card that I created for my Father-In-Law. He loves to go hunting and usually brings home lots of deer meat which then gets turned into jerky (my FAV!!!!)!. I thought the little deer image from the Paper Smooches Happy Camper set was appropriate for this card. **NOTE:: I do not believe in killing little deer (or deer in general)....I just like the jerky! I also used my PS Simply Said set for the sentiment. The papers are from an OLLLLLLLLLD My Mind's Eye collection {Fly A Kite-- you can also get more MME papers HERE from the Ribbon Carousel}. Finally, I added a bit of my FAV twine {available HERE from the RC}. LOOOOOOOOVE!

ps...the other day I was lucky enough to meet up with Sue L. {Card Therapy} at the NP Hobby Lobby!!! She is SOOOOOOOOO beautiful and super talented! We only got to chat for about 5 minutes, but we have plans to get together in the future and craft:) **NOTE:: I had just finished working out when I got her call....look how stylish she looks!! 

Happy NEW Year- 2013 Journal with Whisker Graphics

Today I'm sharing my Whisker Graphics creation that is featured on the WG blog-- you can also read about this creation over on the WG blog HERE.

Nothing has changed since 2012....I'm still in LOVE LOVE LOVE with my WG Bitty Bags {esp. the kraft ones!!!}. I've used a super fun chevron Middy Bitty Bag for my project today. And to follow the tradition of the new year, I've used this bitty bag in my 2013 journal.

I'll also give you a quick review/rundown of the journal--- I create a blank monthly journal to collect memories (good/bad/happy/sad-- i.e. deaths, births, trips, pictures, etc.) for the year. Then Trav and I try to read through the yearly events on Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve. We've been doing this since we started dating!!! 

I used some leftover American Crafts/Dear Lizzy Neapolitan papers for my base and embellishments. 

This year my journal has a special spot for our 2013 goals--the WG Bitty Bags are PERFECT for this addition! I stitched this bag on the inside with the monthly calendar and added some embellishments. LOVE how this turned out! I love that the bag can hold lots of papers:)
