May Arts Design Team Call

This is it - the May Arts Design Team Call.  Jump for JOY!  I am so happy to be able to submit projects and a written/photo tutorial.  Below are new projects and a couple old ones.  I love ribbon and find it to be the perfect addition to all creative projects be it a gift, home décor, paper crafting, or holiday item.

Project 1 (new)
Altered lunchbox tin with lots of ribbon on the handle, around the tin, and the turquoise lace flower is one I made.

Project 2 (new)
Crocheted cozy with ribbon/flower accent.
The ribbon is stretchy and threaded through the top of the cozy.
The flower is one I also made with the same ribbon.

Project 3 (new)
Embellished window décor is five miniature, amber-colored bottles filled with flowers.
The neck of the bottle has a small lace bow added for that extra touch.

Project 4 (past May Arts Challenge)
This is an altered soda crate with our wedding photo and my wedding bouquet.
Flowers, bows, and pumpkins were all made by me with May Arts ribbon.

Project 5 (new)
An altered shadowbox that I made for a Secret Sister swap.

I hope you enjoy my May Arts Design Team call projects.

Written/Photo Tutorial
What I chose to do for my written/photo tutorial is very simple and I use it every time I use ribbon.
It is a technique that I remember my Mom teaching me at a very young age - my early elementary years.

How to Tie A Square Knot

I hope you find my tutorial helpful for all your future creative projects.

Thank you Bethney and May Arts for this opportunity to apply for a position on the Design Team.
And, Good Luck to all applicants.
