Alamo Heights is a really popular spot, fun to mess around on and learn new tricks. As far as I know the metal coping was put on by the school to stop the brick ledges from chipping. This only made the spot more skateable. I don't think I've ever been kicked out of here so as long as you're not skating during school hours, you should be fine. Aside from the ledges there's a pretty big flat gap and a 7 stair handrail in the front.
Tajeda's always the back up spot when getting kicked out of Johnson. It's a good weekend spot but seems like it can be a bust at times by the school police or by teachers if you go there on a weekend evening. They usually just tell you to leave. The grounds smooth and ledges might need a little wax so come prepared. There's also a ditch in the back that used to be skated but for the longest time has been way too dirty to skate.
Big thanks to Fields, Raney, and anyone else involved in making underground ditch better and better. If you want to contribute to even more building both Fields and Raney are taking donations for quickcrete and supplies. Heres some vids of some of the progress.
Going to Houston for wild in the parks should be fun and the list of people im going with...
