Yesterday, as a part of WriteOnCon (an annual online children's writing conference), I was in a group vlog with the Class of 2K12, a group of 21 authors with debut YA and MG books coming out in 2012. I have to admit I look pretty stiff and awkward in this vlog BUT, if you're a writer--especially one looking to get published--I think you should check it out for the wise/inspiring words of my classmates. And try to take my word for it that I'm less awkward in real life (maybe by a smidgen, but still. Less awkward).
You can watch the vlog here. Plus, if you leave a comment, you can win a tote bag of some 2K12 swag Which...
...segues nicely to my next four letter word. Swag! I have the final version of my stickers to share with you.
Ta-da!
Now, I'm guessing this doesn't entirely make sense without having read the book. Hope you think they're cute anyway. I really love them.
And according to this blog post title, I promised you other four letter words. So hear they are: goop! ears! whoa!

Stop Me If I Make An Unnecessary Prequel In Thirty Years
If The Hangover Part II's box office receipts last weekend taught me anything, it's that sequels make a lot of money everybody loves a sequel! And who am I to not try to make bank deny the public what they want.
Contrary to my declarations oh, about two weeks ago, I decided to give this vlog thing another shot. The good news is that famous painter (it's true because it's certified by the YES Network) Graig Kreindler is in this one, too. And this time he's interviewing me about some of my favorite things.
Rated G for Geeky. Viewer Discretion is Advised.
The Sarvenaz & Graig Show, Episode 2 from Sarvenaz Tash on Vimeo.
Oh, and I apologize for the backward writing. Apparently the MacBook's built-in cam records everything in mirror form because Apple thinks it would be jarring for consumers otherwise (seriously, that was the official explanation in their forums). I've figured out a workaround to this but it'll have to happen in the next episode...that is, if there is a next episode. [twirls imaginary producer mustache]

Predator: America's Favorite Pastime
You guys, I have managed to snag an interview with THE Graig Kreindler. Baseball artist extraordinaire. In case you don't know of Mr. Kreindler's work, here's an example:
Yup, that's a painting. You can see more here.
The extremely reclusive Mr. Kreindler is known to subscribe to the Salinger/Malick School of Mystique. Yet with perseverance, determination and knowledge of where he lives, I was able to track down the artist for this exclusive interview.
Which just also happens to be my first (and likely last) vlog.
So, may I proudly present: Mr. Kreindler and His Viewing Habits
Tash/Kreindler: The Interview from Sarvenaz Tash on Vimeo.
Tomorrow, Mr. Kreindler has an interview with the YES (Yankees Entertainment and Sports) Network.* After my hard-hitting questions, that is bound to be a piece of cake.
*This is actually true! Wish him luck!
