Tasheena and I met when we were 14 years old. We were instant friends. I moved away from Kansas two years after we met. I moved to Texas and shortly after that, she moved to Michigan and then to Oregon and then to Florida. And then, I moved to Alaska and am now back in Texas. So, due to us living in such far away places, we have only gotten to see each other about every 6-7 years since I moved from Kansas 16 years ago. She lives in Florida now. Matt and I were going to visit Matt's family in Georgia, so I was going to be only about 4 hours driving from her. We decided we had to meet up! We each drove about 2 hours and met in the middle and got to spend a couple of hours catching up! I was thankful for just a little time with this girl.

Ft Worth Sister Weekend
Man. I am one blessed woman. Not only do I have amazing sisters with whom I have developed amazing friendships with. But I also have sisters-in-law that I love as if they were my own!! We had an incredible weekend together. Thank you Mama for loving us so well and bringing us together for some much needed rest and good conversations!

21 Weeks
21 Weeks down. 19 to go. We are thankful that we had our ultrasound last week and were told we had a happy and healthy baby as far as they could tell! We are choosing to not find out gender and have a fun surprise come September :)

Birthday Parties to Rangers Games
We enjoyed some outdoor backyard water fun at our friend Henry's birthday party!
It was so fun to have Sydney, Owen, Lincoln and Heather get to come visit for a few days at the ranch. I am thankful for the way that friendships continue to develop between all these cousins!
Going to Rangers games. One of my favorite things to do. I do not really particularly enjoy baseball and especially do not like watching it on TV. But in person I love watching it!! And eating the ballpark food :)
Thank you Lindsi for teaching Burton to draw on his arms!
Adalynn chose her own outfit. Since she does not own a chambray button down shirt...she chose this button down to wear over her dress :)
Burton has started wanting to dress himself. He chose to wear this baseball shirt, but he insisted on wearing it backwards so that he would be able to see the baseball. And, his new favorite is to wear these green socks pulled up with his running shoes!
