Pretty Little Things Club Delivery
The first installment of the Pretty Little Things Club arrived yesterday and it was such a fun little surprise! Jordan sent shadow cards from Optical Toys and they are lovely. Now I just need to figure out how to display these because they are too fun to keep hidden away.

Buffet Table
Decorating the condo has officially begun! Erin found me this buffet to use in the living room for extra storage and I couldn't be more thrilled! The size is perfect, the extra storage is desperately needed and the price was fantastic! I'm so excited for it to arrive! {image via T and S Company Design}

Natural Fiber Rug
I've been thinking about a natural fiber rug for the bedroom. Mostly because they aren't expensive but also because they're neutral and add textural interest to the room. Does anyone have this Tarnby rug from Ikea? What do you think? {image via Ikea}

Slippers
How incredibly cute are these slippers?! They're so perfect for the nippy nights and mornings that are creeping upon us. And, what makes them even better is that you can have them custom ordered in your size and color! Thank Gabrielle for the great find! {image via CaitiJo}
Ruffle Shirt
Um yea, I pretty much want this shirt. I've been searching for more winter work/weekend clothes and this would be perfect. The shilouette is beautiful and the details are downright gorgeous. {images via J.Crew}

Animal Cookies
I just found out these Mother's frosted animal cookies are going to be no more. It seems Mother's recently filed for bankruptcy protection-I guess this economic downturn spares no one. Normally I wouldn't particularly care, but these are my absolute favorite cookies. I sure hope someone buys Mother's and keeps this simple goodness alive. :)

Remember the lovely Alyson who designed my blog header? Well she just designed her first ever calendar based on her nature collections. It's gorgeous and so exudes modern, simplicity.

India
My good friend Mitch had the great fortune to have two weeks paid time off before his new job starts. With his time he went to India and took some fantastic pictures. I couldn't believe the awesome color and great patterns I saw. This image is one of my favorite.

Vote
I pre-voted yesterday! It felt so great!
One of my biggest pet peeves is when people say they don't vote because it doesn't really count and doesn't make a difference. This frustrates me to no end. First, there are so many people in this world that aren't able to vote and we should be so extremely thankful we are able. Second, what if I felt like my vote didn't count and so did my 10 closest friends. Then their 10 closest friends felt that way too. We're getting to quite a few people, right? Do you see how one can turn into hundreds really quickly? Well if each of those people that said their vote doesn't count started voting then it could truly be the change they wish to see. Now, instead of listening to me harp, get out and VOTE! {image via farlane}

Butterfly Wreath
I think this Butterfly Celebration Wreath screams spring and would create a welcome entrance on our front door come early next year. It's made from photography books, recycled papers and records jackets- how cool is that?! Thanks Holly for the introduction to another fabulous Etsy designer. {image via Royal Buffet}
Leather Satchel
My friend Christina purchased a bag like this when she studied abroad in Italy and I've always admired it. I found a similar one when I followed the links Jordan posted for another item. I think it's such a classic and makes a beautiful statement. {image via Floto Imports}

Fabric
I love this fabric. I looked online to see if it's sold in a retail store near me and sadly, it's not. I'm still trying to decide on the fabric to make a cushion for the $10 chair I picked up at my friends roommates moving sale and man, is it taking time! I guess I'm going to have to find someone within the trade to help me out if this ends up being the winner! {image via Alexander Henry Fabrics}

Handmade Scissors
Beautiful design, especially in everyday things, makes me so happy. I found these while browsing through Oh Happy Day looking for inspiration. The blades are hand-forged steel and the handles are cast brass. For the same price as Fiscars wouldn't you rather have these? {image via Global Exchange}

Calendar
I absolutely love calendars- especially this Lucky Horseshoe design. But, I'm feeling like it's about time to start using an electronic one like Google that I can synch with Stephen's or maybe use the one on the i-Phone {once I get it}.
For some reason though, I'm really hesitant. There's just something about a calendar that sits on the central desk for everyone to see and add things to. Plus, I'm concerned about how logging into the Google calendar or waiting for the i-Phone to load will become difficult.
This seems like something silly to frett over but I'm OCD about organization and lists. Am I the only one with these feelings? And if not, what did you do to move over to an electronic calendar?{images via Sarah Pinto}

Bar Cart
I've been meaning to share this for awhile now. This is the fantastic cart I found at the flea market. From the moment I saw it and heard the price I knew I wanted it in my home! It's bright gold, imprinted with a bamboo pattern and has smoky glass for shelves. We are using it to house liquor as well as our spillover of wine glasses-- I'm still working on the styling! Please pardon the way it looks in our apartment, we don't have the best flooring or wall color to work with. {Click the image for a larger view!}
NASCAR Race
This past weekend we went to the Bank of America 500 NASCAR Race and it was a blast! It's not one of those things where I want to go back next month or even next year for that matter, but, it had great people watching and it was so much better than viewing it on TV. Below is a video Stephen took for the restart after a few caution laps following an accident.

Domino Book
My Domino book arrived this weekend and I couldn't be more thrilled! I was so surprised because it doesn't hit stores until the 14th and I assumed it wouldn't ship out from Amazon until after that date! Needless to say I'm in love with the book and it's providing so much inspiration! I simply cannot wait to get into the condo and start decorating!! If you haven't already, place your order ASAP! {image via Amazon}

Necklaces
I'm really trying to incorporate accessories into my wardrobe. I think this one would work perfectly dressed up or down. I love the bow that ties at the nape of the neck.
This one's already sold out in my local store. I'm envisioning it under a blazer or paired with some fall cardigans. Waiting for them both to go on sale... {image via J.Crew}
