happy halloween!
The boys had a great halloween, jared is an owl from the Guardians of Ga'hoole, I love to make the boys costumes and almost insisted on it with nathan but he wanted to be a firefighter so bad I had to give in, I am glad I did they had so much fun. Thanks mom for all your help with jared's costume or I should say glad I could help you!

Here he is!
Well everyone he is finally here! I am sorry I have not called everyone or talked for very long to anyone it has been a long week! We had Aaron Douglas Smith on September 16th at 11pm a whooping 7 pounds 4 ounces! I went home the next night at 11pm which was the soonest they would release me to what I thought was some mommy sick boys, they ended up being just sick boys, Nathan and Jared have a virus which has lead to both of them going to immediate care for ear infections, Nathan also got an eye infection, Jared has been home sick as long as Jason has been off work- hopefully they will both return in full health tomorrow...we are mainly just praying that Aaron does not catch it, the pediatrician basically told me if he does he will probably be hospitalized, babies can't have a fever over 100.3 or a cough before six weeks or they get admitted...at any rate he is adorable and the boys adore him! This pic was taken before we left the hospital.

Nathan is a big boy!
Of course I think both of my children are extraordinary, but this past week Nathan has taken the cake. I have said since I've been pregnant that it would be nice if Nathan was potty trained before the baby came but I never got the gumption up to really try. Nathan only turned two at the end of May so that is still pretty young for a boy to potty train- a little over a week ago Nathan decided it was time. He insisted he wanted to use the potty and now he has been in undies for a week straight and no accidents for three days straight now, we do put night time diapers on him but usually he wakes up dry and heads right for the potty. He is so proud of himself and I am too!
