I had a chance to browse over at
Splitcoaststampers the other day...and after many minutes (or..maybe hours) I decided to take the plunge and follow
this fabulous tutorial...and wah lah...fun! fun! fun!! So I popped over to see the latest challenge at
The Shabby Tea Room and used this weeks (#113) for colour inspiration:)
It goes perfectly with the Mother's Day Card that I made....
I actually had so much fun that I decided that it was the perfect Mother's Day Gift to create at school with a class full of 7-8 year olds...so the photo below is enough crafty bits and pieces - cut, scored and ready for clever little fingers to put together?!!
The next card that I had a chance to get a little crafty with uses this weeks sketch over at
Mojo Monday...the perfect combination of Stampin' Up papers, stamps, punches; Cuttlebug embossing and Copics colouring just jumped to together to create this Mother's Day Card.
Using this weeks sketch over at
Unscripted Sketches (#157) I had a chance to create a little more:) With Magnolia's Tilda stamp; Stampin' Up! papers, ribbon, sentiment stamp, butterfly die cuts; and Cuttlebug embossing...the sketch made the card come together so nicely!
The last but not least the final card to share for today is one that uses this weeks sketch over at
Sweet Sketch Wednesday #152...I had a request to make a 50th Birthday Card for birthday celebrations this weekend:) So with the craft desk a buzz with Stampin' Up! papers, bling and stamps; Cuttlebug embossing and number die cut; and extra bits and pieces from the stash...I just love having a chance to play along:)
I hope your week is cruising along nicely in your part of the world:)
