I can't believe it has been 21 years since this sweet little girl joined our family. What a blessing she has been, best friend to each of her siblings, sincere and dedicated to each of her friends, a true example to everyone.

Where have I been???

August is always so HOT and BUSY so I needed a good excuse to get out of the heat and get away from it all. Sherwood and I decided to take a few days and go to Utah. We helped my sweet Mom and Dad with a few unfinished projects (cabinets in the laundry room) and spent the rest of the time going to as many Utah Temples as we could fit in...
We started off at the Logan Temple, the flowers were so beautiful.
Mom and Dad were married here just 58 years ago this month.
Next we went to the Manti Temple, this was the temple I always dreamed of being married in, but Sherwood had other dreams and I gave in to the Arizona temple. (Which I am happy I did) He did owe me a trip to Manti and I am happy he finally took me there.
It is so beautiful and the woodwork inside is magnificant.
The next day we went to the Bountiful and Salt Lake Temples. And of course I had to run over to the Lion House and get some homemade butter mints, ohhh they are soooo good!
Thursday we went to the Provo temple, and stopped in Pleasant Grove to have lunch with my dear friend since elementary, Debra Black. (I love her! I am so mad I forgot to take pictures while we were there.)
We finished up that day at the Mt. Timpanogas Temple, once again so pretty.
As you can tell in all the pictures the flowers were spectacular.
We finished up Friday morning at the Jordon River Temple just before running me to the airport to catch a flight home. (Sherwood flew back on tuesday so he missed some of the fun). It was a busy week, but so enjoyable spending that time with my parents and some of my siblings. Two years ago we did most of the California Temples, I can hardly wait to see where we go next.
