Unannounced Hiatus - 11th June 2013

Well its been a while, if there are any faithful blog readers out there who follows this blog. So sorry for not writing for so long.

Now i am here today not to rant about my life, but move on from the blog. This blog was created 3 years ago because the girl that i was interested in loved to blog, so i decided to blog too, and found it to be very interesting. I enjoy writing these posts, but now i have become so busy that i had tone down on my post count.

Today i announce that i am formally leaving the blogging scene until further notice. I will still keep this blog running, because the memories that i am fond of, the memories that i am not so fond of are all here and i wouldn't want to forget them.

lol i think one day i will look back at this blog and say, man i had a lot of time to write down all this bullshit.

Well now, i shall stop writing before i make this into another 1000 word post again. Until we meet again.

No lifer ~ 27th January 2012

lolz its been a week since I got my lappie back and I am slacking off updating the blog. Well I don’t think much has happened throughout the 2 weeks. Well the biggest thing that has happened, is that I started to play MMOs again. Ragnarok Online 2 to be specific.

Though I stood a firm ground on never starting an MMO, like, ever again. But then after watching SAO, I was reminded of back in the day where I was still an MMO guy, the exhilaration making friends and playing with other peoples with different backgrounds. The awesome feel that you have just leveled up your character. Thinking about how to spend your skill points wisely. Other than that, a lot of friends were all also playing it. I was like why not?

They were begging for a healer character. In my MMO days, it was either Assassins or Warriors for me. Never once liked being a magician. Seeing that I have never became healer before let alone a magician, why not.

And that was my mindset for starting RO2. When I got in, THE ABUNDANT AMOUNT OF STORY QUESTS OMG. Its just quest after quest after quest. Thx freaking Kojima that they have these Khara quests which deals more with grinding on the field, only that made it feel like an MMO. Cuz most of the quests are errands, moving from one NPC to the next, tedious, but in a way beneficial for a class like mine, because when I’m a healer, my attacks tend to be very weak and its really frustrating to grind sometimes. 

Well other than that, what else happened…. Watched a few movies throughout the absence, namely Miyazaki’s works. I watched Laputa: Castle in the Sky just day before yesterday. I just have to say, WOW. it’s a movie from the 1980s, but still its one of the best movies that I have watched to date, its up there in my heart space with Summer Wars. Found links to Momo he no tegami’s 1080p bluray, and finally decided to watch Pulp Fiction after so long. I’ll prolly watch Pulp Fiction tomorrow and Momo he no tegami the next weekend.

Oh yeah, just now I was browsing through my music library in my lappie and then I remembered, it did not have a library when I got my lappie back a week ago. It was quite sad really. I was so disappointed at the warranty guy that told that my HDD was backed up after they changed it. Since it was a HDD problem with my lappie, they have to backup the data in the old HDD without extra charge.

When I fired up my lappie for the 1st time since it crashed. All I saw was my HDD was wiped clean. Nothing from my old HDD at all, and then I saw my old HDD which is given back to me, it was stuck with some masking tape, on the tape wrote “How to backup, Cannot detect!!” How the attitude that I felt from the 2 sentences. I dunno what drove me to shake the HDD, it came out with a rattling sound. My 1st thought “ SHAKA SHAKA HEY!” A really WTF Little Busters moment.

Went home a opened up the screws in the HDD. I couldn’t open up completely open up the HDD so I shook the contents out and I got this

The disks in the HDD somehow shattered themselves. How fast were they spinning to cause such carnage? to my knowledge HDDs are supposed to be quite sturdy and I only had this lappie for one year. In those HDD pieces there could be my awesome music collection and visual novels in there that I would never get back.

So after that I have searched high and low on the new to get rebuild my music library, a lot of my old links that have worked last time has now been DMCAed. CURSES. I was especially bummed that I forgot to back up my 3 Yui Makino albums. But in the end I have found better quality link. Last time 2 out of my 3 Makino albums are very badly encoded, so they noises ruined the album experience for me. Now the albums I have now that are from alternate links are all high quality encodings.

As for the others, some I could never get back already. So yeah, I’ll just have to go with what I have now, which was half of what I had last time and this time, I made sure I backed up the shit of out it.

So yeah, I guess that’s an update. Well I’ll be back to updating weekly again soon, so stay fly homies!

New years~ 10th January 2013

Decided its about time to write a blog post. Since i was really frustrated playing MGS3 in extreme. So yeah playing Nisemonogatari's OST right now, i have crap load to go through. A lot has happened in the time between the last post and this one. Well lets go through them shall we?

Well one of the most traumatizing events that has happened in the beginning of 2013. MY LAPTOP HAS DIED! Well not exactly died but it is inoperable. When i turned it on it was okay, until i typed in my lappie password and logged in. It was just white screen, fired up my ol' PC and did a lil troubleshooting myself. Google sensei said that it may be a problem with the display and suggests directing the visual output somewhere else to check. Whipped out my trusty HDMI cable which made my daily anime enjoying much more enjoyable. Sadly my TV showed a white screen also. Right when i disconnected my laptop, i see the sweet Akari wallpaper from Aria popping up in my desktop. My lappie managed to load the whole desktop after an hour plus. Even the task manager took some time to load. That time i've deemed that it's time for this laptop to go get a checkup.

Had my 1st drive to KL with the homies. Went there derped around and sent my laptop for repair. the condition got even worse when i was at the store, it was a black screen. Well they sent it to the warranty department. Its been about a week or so since i'm laptop-less. Well at least i get to use back my good ol keyboard with the contours and wrist rest and whut not. I called then today and they found out to be a hard disk problem. I heard that if i were to request a data backup for my laptop, it would cost me RM90 because it not included in the warranty. In my case, since they found out that my hard disk has a problem, so they would have to back up the data in the hard disk regardless cuz its a hardware related problem. Now i'm really hoping it's a faulty hard disk, so that in a likely even that my computer gets formatted, i would not have to pay and extra charge to back up my data.

All of my un-backed up animes, visual novels, pictures and most important of all my music is all in there. I am willing to wipe everything off the drive except for my music collection. It took too long for my collection to be this awesome. Now in my PC, looking back at my old music collection. I did not know i was that tasteless back then. Well right after i tweeted that my friend introduced me to Gunther's Ding Dong Song and  got my ultimate pickup line from there.

Hmmm what else happened..... Well some insignificant stuff like started playing MGS Peace Walker again and now i have left 1 more weapon to complete my equipment and weapons collection. Its a Gear REX drop, pesky dragon's hard to slay.

Been watching a few Miyazaki's movies, the last one i watched was Princess Mononoke, has a fair amount of gore, superb soundtrack and storytelling.

Kokoro connect has finally released their final arc. Fucking scumbags at Silverlink. Very good conclusion to a very good anime, DEREBAN BANZAI!

Nekomonogatari Kuro came out. Well, its gave an insight to what happened to Koyomi and Hanekawa before the events of Bakemonogatari. What got me hyped up was the preview after everything, the 2nd season of the Monogatari series. OMG when i heard Nadeko scream in the preview, i was like GIMME OTORIMONOGATARI NAO, I WANT NADEKO MEDUSA!!!

Well now that i'm using the PC now, i mostly fighting over the use of the PC with my dad. He and his facebook games. sheesh

Hmm well there's my 1st week for semester 3 in college. Kinda normal, well except for the fact that i wore a formal suit complete with a tie on the 2nd day just to see peoples reaction and to hide a scar on my neck, i was challenged to wear like that for a month with a bottle of Vodka on the line. Oh yes, for the love of Uesaka Sumire YES!

Speaking about her, she's a seiyuu who voiced Dekomori in Chuu2koi and Nonna in Garupan. Is a Russian enthusiast, majored in Russian stuides and i got interested in her after seeing this picture of her

mmmmmm she looks soooo gooood in that BDU with the straps and all, and that replica Dragunov. OOOOUUUUHHH she rubs me in the right places.

Yup, she's fluent in Russian and sang Katyusha in Garupan too. I think ima in loooove. Crap, moving on.

Hmmmm well i tried absinthe yesterday. It was a half shot, since that shot glass my friend had was too small to be called a full shot. 79% alcohol content, and we drank it undiluted. Man, the absinthe stayed in my breath throughout the day even though it was just a half shot. My friend got high with that half shot too. My lawd that stuff sure is pungent, and its not like the light green absinthe you usually see, its the dark kind. Dark as in black in colour with slight traces of purple.

Since i'm not using that Live Writer software i'm actually writing on the blogger website now so i do not have a word counter with me, but i think the post is long enough as it is so i'll stop here.

I am looking forward to meeting my Otakura peeps again next week. So yeah, Stay fly homies!

Comic Fiesta Day 1 + Day 2 ~ 29th December 2012

Its been a long while since the last post i guess, was too lazy to update after the event because it was so tiring. Welp, will be straying away from my usual blog format again. Do know that this is not much of a coverage since i did not go to much of the stage events. Its more like a post on my experience.

Day 1
I came early, about 8:30 a.m. Dad was like eating breakfast with me and then decided to fetch me to the place. Good guy dad.

The situation there was horrible. The line was actually longer than last year, what’s more its only in the morning! The line ends at the entrance to Suria OGOD. my friend who reached at about 7 a.m. was like 1/3 in front of the line. Peoples say that there’s a line there since 5. Comic Fiesta is now the Malaysian Comiket, proclaimed by the writer of this blog.

I got the early bird tickets so i get to skip the no ticket line into the priority lane. Well when i got in, there was another line for the early birds. We’ll have the wait till 10 when the hall officially opens. Wow, well then i called the gamertakus to see if they were able to smuggle me in. They only had a limited number of passes so i’ll have to wait. What’s worse, i have to go pee and the way to the toilet is blocked, GENIUS. I have to walk all the way out of my line and into the no ticket line, which is now a sea of peoples. Oh how i wished i was Moses, or Ezio in the Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood trailer. It was hard navigating through the sea of peoples i tells ya.

After that i have to brave through the sea of peoples again and back to the priority line. WTF? GJ committee, GJ. 10 minutes before hall opens, the whole priority line was counting down from 10. After the count, nothing happened. Well who ever started this 10 second countdown to oblivion, GJ man, troll success.

Halls open, a few of my peeps and myself walked into the hall and lo and behold ANOTHER LINE. I thought they had received complaints from last year since everyone had to line up for 2 lines? Well, a short while after this Danny Choo booth guy tells us that its the line for this booth. We wanted to get the Mirai Touch n Go’s and one of us is willing to take one for the team and line up for us. YOUR EFFORTS SHALL NOT BE FORGOTTEN JON.

So i skipped all the commercial booths into the doujin booths and man, this year they expanded the halls to 4 halls, the doujin section was FREAKING BIG. The Gamertakus booth is like right at the end. So i went for some visiting to my highlighted booths of interest. I was disappointed that Mousou Garden did not do a doujin for MGS this year, but they did say they’re planning for a MGS Peace Walker Doujin and asked if i wanted to see it, i was like hells yeah i do! Yeps, something to look forward to next year.

At the Gamertakus booth. My friend Uzuki showed me a MGS art that i did not see last year, i was insta-sold. Bought that and a few chibis from Kuro.

At Freedom and Break Pieces booth, picked up the P3 artbook that our SEGi Otakura Kaicho has ordered.

Later went and get my preordered redjuice artbook from the coffytiam. Then went on my merry way to see all of the booths.

After scouting out all of the booths and did my commission requests. Its time for some photo hunting of course. Here are a few of my fav’s from Day 1

Then went to the Vanguard booth to get kaicho who was there, since we agreed that the Otakura is to have lunch together that day. I went and gotten myself a booster pack, lo and behold a Sengoku Nadeko Special Rare. well lets just say after that my luck in booster packs are not so good anymore.

In the food court, this new place opened called Fuel Stop. I saw they had burger’s for cheap, but there was no more sitting space left in there. I suggested to take away from this store and eat at a nearby flight of stairs. Everyone voted to look for other places to sit. So we did. To no avail we find ourselves in front of fuel stop again. Then this table suddenly leaves, so we got the table and started ordering.

Lining up, i saw they were putting out a freshly made Pizza Margherita. A flag immediately went up in my head, telling me that i have to try that since Akira Ferrari from Aria love always orders Pizza Margherita. It was a simple pizza with some pasta sauce, tomatoes, cheese and basil. Its Rm8.50 per slice, but the slice is HUGE. The size is about 2/3 of a small Pizza Hut pizza and it fills you up quite nicely. I could understand why Akira liked this pizza. That’s 4 Aria food stuff down. (Pizza Margherita, Gelato, Walnut Bread and Cafe au Lait)

During that time, a friend from the Otakura started offer me prices to sell off my redjuice artbook, because i was enjoying the art’s in the artbooths so much that i forgot to go and get the artbooks that he told me to get before the halls open. I was quite reluctant to let go of the artbook thought, thanks to the departures album art, GAH! Well in the end i was able to work something out and get him the books the next day.

Then it was a redjuice stage event. He came on stage, he looked so… mediocre, with a beer belly, well he’s the genius behind the Guilty Crown concept arts and some other awesome stuffs. It was a Q&A session, quite lazy to cover that. I’ll just say that, if you’re wondering why is he called redjuice? well its has nothing to do with redbull. and that was his answer. lol The question was not answered. Also, he said that there might be a continuation to the train wreck that is Guilty Crown in the works, so yeah small advice production team, DON’T SCREW IT UP.

After that it was just more photo hunting. in which when i saw Prinny, i had a very strong impulse to pick him up, which i did

Heavy Prinny was heavy. I think it gave me a sore neck 2 days after. The amount of cameras pointed at me when i picked him up, became a impromptu cosplayer.

In the end i went to the Gamertakus booth and Salaryman Kyuubey decided to visit

Apparently, Melvin wants to become a girl, a very pretty one. oh Melvina XD

Then that is the end of day 1, acquired some art and a pair of sore shins.

Day 2
Came at about 10 a.m. My dad drove me there as well, was so thankful that i don’t have to take the dreaded train.

Well was more keen on take photo’s today, since what i wanted to get was acquired yesterday. so here are some of my favourites


I have a few other of the Fire sisters in my album. i have to give it to them, Karen and Tsukihi is quite well done by these two; Though i’m not a mecha fan, you’ll have to give props to this guy cosplaying a Gundam Unicorn; Freddie mercury was the signboard of the Gamertakus booth for more than 10 minutes and of course, HARD GAY stole the show. The rest in in my Google+ album.

Well i was quite disappointed to see no sign of Psycho Pass in Comic Fiesta. The only place that has presence in Psycho Pass was the gamertakus booth with fanart and cosplay by Kuro herself.

DOMOENATORRR

A huge part of my day 2 was spent lining up for the redjuice signing session. In the end it was all worth it. We even got a group picture with him. Sad that couldn’t have an individual picture with him though, bragging rights dropped.

Fellow Gamertaku, Kelvin decided to start Weiss Schwarz by buying a Robotics;Notes trial deck. Taught him the game mechanism and the way to play it… on the floor T_T. The Vanguard booth’s tables are not usable.

I left the event quite early, it was 6 something in the evening. Well my legs finally gave in, it did not feel good. but yeah it was all worth it. Awesome art, awesome friends, awesome cosplay. HECK, i have a cosplan for next year. Well not sure if its going to be a thing yet, but my cosplan is a pair cosplay with a friend, Snakes in a Box. MGS Peace Walker’s love box can fit 2 soldiers, so we are deciding to do that. Now its just the procurement and assembly of the costume. Hopefully it’s kind to my wallet.

lol i think i slacked off in the Day 2 post, but seriously, i just took a pictures that day, oh and i had Pizza Margherita that day too. Well i’ll end this post with a Gamertakus group picture. Stay fly homies!

Feel so good ~ 18th December 2012

Yeaah, Supercell’s song, damn chill. and yes i have skipped last week’s post due to some unforeseen circumstances. Would not go into detail later in the post lolz. The chronological updates is too much, so i’ll work with whatever’s at the back of my head.

Well the maths test last week was quite hard, it was ass rape for everyone in the room. We even had bitchy ass invigilators to boot. Do you guys ever had this experience that you’re focusing so hard on something, you forget what’s around you and don’t feel time at all? i’m sure you all have at some point, be it gaming or reading. For me, one of the times was doing maths in this exam. “Five minutes!” the invigilator told the student who going to the washroom. This snapped me out of that deep concentration and into panic mode. In my mind i was like “HOW THE FUCK IS IT 5 MINUTES LEFT UNTIL END PAPER? THEY HAVEN’T ANNOUNCE THE 30 MINUTE MARK ALSO!”. Looked at my watch, i had around 1 and a half hour left.

Really, scumbag invigilator, got me worked up for a few times. THE PAPER WAS THAT HARD. Then one of them had to go in and out of the class for a few times. I was near the door, so the door opening and closing sound was quite annoying after a while. So yeah thanks scumbag invigilators for making the exam harder.

Then what’s funnier, the invigilators seems like they’re doing a good job invigilating our asses, but lo and behold, after maths exam, we found a cheat sheet with arabic scribbles in the guys washroom. It turns out that some of the internationals were waiting for their fellow comrades to come to the washroom discuss the answers. Good fucking job invigilators, you guys deserve a medal.

okay on to the next highlight… Well i went to my dad’s friend’s house for a potluck thing. It was his high school pals and their respective spouses. Well i was there cuz of the good food and good wine and liquor that you don’t get to sample everyday. When they were talking halfway, my dad’s friend talked about the photos she received when peoples were graduating. My dad’s photo was in it too.

To the people who’ve seen my dad before, isn’t this a pleasant surprise? XDDD

So yeah, there was a lot of text behind this photo which my dad told me to not take a picture of. Well essentially it can be loosely defined as a love note? cuz it feels like my dad knows he’s getting friend zoned when the text is being read out. Oh we had a friggin good laugh over some good wine.

We had 4 bottles of wine and a bottle of champagne that day. 1st it was a white wine, forgot the name, i liked its sweet after taste, then it was a chardonnay. After that it was the champagne, wow my 1st time having real champagne, sour and sparkling. Then it was a bottle of pinot noir, red wine. not that well aged, so got tongue numbing sensation (forgot what’s the terminology called). Lastly the 14 year old Shiraz. now that one was GOOD. it went down smoothly without any tongue numbing, albeit more sour then usual. i was friggin tipsy after those, HO DAMN. who the hell would’ve known that wine can hit harder than liquor. Well i’m not a wine person myself but it was a good night of wine tasting and enjoying.

And now, the final highlight for this post. Today was the last test for the whole semester. Malaysian studies. Meh subject, i still had some of that history know how in my brains cuz i had funny ways of interpreting the events. practically sailed thru the damn test.

After that was waiting outside for the other students to finish. 30 mins later, most of the homies were out and were chilling outside. then suddenly this lecturer from another class came out and asked for our help catching this student cheating.

It was a fat ass china girl, with a tomboy cut (eww), in a red jumpsuit jacket and baggy shorts. The lecturer said that she’s been suspecting this china chick to be cheating, because they’re doing English theory now and the girl’s English practicals SUCKS donkey balls. But she get’s really high marks for the theory. She hasn’t been able to catch her cheating and is requesting our help.

Since we had nothing better to do, why not? so we stood outside the class where we could peek inside occasionally and pretend that we’re chatting. For the 1st 5 minutes she was just doing her work, can’t see any activity.

Then, we see her looking around suspiciously, she even saw us. We spooked her, she was looking at us for a while and thought that we’re just students hanging outside the classroom. She proceeded to remove something that is stuck under the table, took a look at it and put it into her jacket. Well at that point we were like “GET THE LECTURER NOW! GET THE LECTUERE NOW!” and so we told the lecturer what we saw.

The lecturer then went back in and requested to check her jacket, she found 2 plastic papers. The china girl was quite flustered while the lecturer sat in front of her, talking to her. We also saw that the china girl trying to get back the plastic strips in the teacher’s hand.  We couldn’t make out what they talked about cuz we outside the classroom.

After that the lecturer went out of the class to thank us and showed us the cheat sheet. it was 2 strips of clear plastics with small printed words on it and signs of the plastic being stuck on to a paper before and then forcefully torn off. I thought it was tape, since she stuck it under her table but i touched it and it was not sticky at all. i wanted to take a pic but the lecturer told me not to, as it provides reference for potential cheaters.

Lecturer even joked with us that the paper was attached to one of her boob after we touched the cheat sheet. i sincerely felt the need to sanitized my hands when she said that. 

And that concludes the highlights that are at the back of my head for the week i guess. Now i’m in semester break mode, preparing my body for Comic Fiesta 2012. Welp, will not have a new post this Thursday, instead the next post would be my coverage of CF 2012, stay tuned. Stay fly homies!

SKETCHBOOK ~ 7th December 2012

This week and the week after i will do my blog posts on Friday cuz of exams. So yeah, lets see what happened for the past week. CHRONOLOGICAL QUICKIE UPDATE

Friday – Homie came to my place to do some errands for me. Played 2 games. 1 win 1 lost. A homie got me into torrenting stuff, still not convinced. My friend of mine live updated on MAMA, my gawd my facebook was full of Korean SHIT that day.
Saturday – Watched ProIG’s Mercedes NEXT A-class commercial. Its the 1st time i got so worked up about a car. Went to Little Akiba, watched Wreck-it Ralph, details in post.
Sunday – Parents went for wedding dinner, THE HOUSE WAS MY MAN CAVE. but a pizza-less man cave. Had pizza with a homie outside later anyway. Watched Bungaku Shoujo, nice movie was nice.
Monday – Derped in the house, watched The Sky Crawlers. Not a movie for the weak minded. torrented the soundtrack later. Seriously side tracked during study. Finished Komari’s route in LB! Details in post.
Tuesday - Normal day of classes, made a playlist to raise morale.
Wednesday – Study session after non-existent class. Had Croquette at Hokkaido, AYAM SATISFIED.
Thursday -  Completely turned into a torrent fag, who knew that shit could be that fast. GOT THE FULL ARIA LOSSLESS TRACKS!
Friday – Exam day, found that i screwed up 1 question. had Kazakhstan food. Details in post.
Status: College student who kinda overspent on food this week, saving for Comic Fiesta

As you can see, i have a different view on torrents now. Last time, i thought they were slow as fuck downloads that people still use for no apparent reason. But now, after googling a site that is full of live seeds on OLD animes and soundtracks. i’m downloading a series myself right now. Will get the full DVDrip of the Aria series from a homie of mine next week.

Okay lets see highlights. Well its considered to be our last visit there until the end of exam week. Went there, got a pro to look at my Nadeko deck build. tweaked it a lil and i went and bought a pack. This time my friend got a cluster of 4 out from the wall and i chose the pack and i got this.

This Hanekawa has the same rarity as the Nadeko Level 3 that i previously shown but cheaper due to the fact that it is not Kana Hanazawa.

Got some pro pointers from the pro himself on how to tackle the card game. Then my friend went and bought another pack of Guilty Crown cards and he got a motherfriggin Ayase signed card. That’s a KanaHana signed right there, market value RM350 or more. Well i feel that the card’s value has degraded for me due to the fact that it is Guilty Crown but that’s just me. *raises hands* Well, at least its redjuice’s art. Props to my homie for banging his 1st signed.

After that, went and watched Wreck-it Ralph. OMG, if you’re a 90s kid gamer, you’re so going to love this. although its mainly focused on arcade games, but they have included some non arcade cameos, like COD, Halo, Mario and Metal Gear Solid cameos. I shouted “METAL GEAR! OMG ITS METAL GEAR!” when the signature exclamation mark came out. Total nerdgasm moment. Well i won’t spoil, but i will say this, this is a movie that will go down as one of the classics. Its that good.

Next highlight, watched Sky Crawlers. my god that movie is philosophical as eff. i did not pick up on it until i was in the shower. Then at night when i was studying, got majorly side tracked. Was chatting with my friend, then had this urge to get him to watch Aria. So i gave him a few torrent links, and then it somehow turned into a mission of me trying to get all of the good torrent links, but then he had 0 speed on all of the torrents, even though there’s about an average of 150 seeders per torrent.

So i tried them myself, and its the 1st friggin time i saw torrent went so fast on my shitty line. found out that my friend was using this crappy China torrent client. Once he changed to a normal torrent client. the speed picked up. TAKE THAT CHINA. XUNLEI GOT NOTHING ON UTORRENT BITCHES.

Alrighty, last highlight, Chemy test today. it was okay i guess. Sailed through with some rough winds occasionally. What’s more, i’m doing the test with a bad eye and my bowels banging on the gates of Uranus. It was not pleasant. After i finished my questions. 1st thing i did was to go and take a freaking crap. OMG that relief. It was double since i already finished answering my questions.

Double checked my questions, saw there’s nothing i could’ve change anymore. Time to get the fuck out. Once i got out, there were little to no Science students out, not even the smart guys. and so i waited while shuffling my music on the Vita, KanaHana songs kept coming up, soothing my friggin soul. After everyone was let out, it seems like they thought it was hard as eff. so it could mean only 2 things, it was hard for them, or i royally screwed up my chemy paper. I’m pretty confident that it’s not the latter. Well that’s one down.

After that, we went for lunch. Went to this new Kazakhstan place that just opened. Well they said its not officially opened to the public yet because they have not finished compiling their menu but they do have food there. We got introduced to a dish that contains Beef, lamb and horse meat. When we heard horse meat, our adventurous side tingled. Went on a whim ordered that, but later they told us it was not available. Then they let us try this Kazakhstan bread. We thought it was free at 1st. Then the waitress said it was RM 1 for 3 pieces. We were quite skeptical, since its something new to us, and then she went on to offer the 1 serving of the bread on the house.

I notice that Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan rice dishes have a crap load of oil in them, almost flooding, but they don’t make you feel fat and feel like death like how a double down burger would. Must be some light ass oil they got.

The bread, as you can see in the picture. its actually Yau-cha-guai lolol. it tastes exactly the same. So much for unique Kazakh bread that i was expecting. And after observing the Kazakh peoples who came to the restaurant. This bread is quite popular. We even went and order another 2 servings since it was so cheap and it went well with the sauces.

After that we just screwed around in the restaurant. i showed my friend the Katyusha video from Girls und Panzer. The waitress heard it and thought it was Russian, then listened to it and confirmed it to be Russian. It was just a ploy to chat with her though.

Albeit a tad bit expensive, but i can say the taste is authentic Kazakhstan. We are lucky, cuz near my college there all these international foods stuffs that we are able to try.

I FEEL LIKE JAMMIN’ ~ 29th November 2012

Listening to Sakai Yuu’s latest album “How’s it going?”. Seriously, you don’t find such good new singers in the industry anymore. Stayed at college for a while to do some studying. Well ultimately i do not know where to study and instead discussed some stuff related to the subjects with my friends. Aiite time for CHRONOLOGICAL QUICKIE UPDATE.

Friday – Well, derped at home. Read some Little Busters! Finished my last assignment for the semester. watched ALOT of cookingwithdog videos.
Saturday – Derped at home. Went to Little Akiba at night. Played 2 matches there. Straight wins, played one match back at home, lost that one.
Sunday – Derped at home, read some LB! again and reviewing my Nadeko deck build and wotnot.
Monday – Normal day of classes. Went and got some Burger King burgers for cheap. Shadow played with my tarinai Nadeko deck. actually lost by taking a shuffle damage.
Tuesday – Normal day of class. Fetched my friend home from the train station. Played 2 matches at his house, won a match and lost one. Really tarinai desu.
Wednesday -  Normal day of classes. Had my 1st beef prosperity burger in my friggin life. Tasted much better than the chicken one in my opinion. Had study group, in which i did not actually study and just screw around. made a few inside jokes, details in post.
Thursday -  Normal day of classes. Had some Subway with a friend’s coupon, and then a coupon frenzy happened. Then study group again, details in post.
Status: College student with replenished funds. Care package received. exam next week.

There’s this bad habit of mine. When i wanna study, i would only pay attention to the subjects that piques my interest. the other subjects that i have no interest in is just getting tossed to the side. And that is why today i haven’t done any studying cuz i wanna study my friggin maths, but i don’t friggin know where to start or have the incentive to start.

Lately i’ve been starting to really get into them weiss schwarz cards. Well i guess its a good thing, taking the Psycho Pass cards release into consideration. Might splurge a little. Well let start the highlights shall we?

Wednesday’s study group. After smuggling our bags into the library, i just stared at my notes and then my friend brought this book about anime movies. so i started to flip through the whole book. Saw some movies that piqued my interest, like Satoshi Kon’s Perfect blue.

Then we started to chat with my friend from Labuan. talking about the specific dialect that they used there and he called a good friend of his on the island to see the full blown Labuan-ized language in use. And man, its kinda hard to comprehend some words as they do not at all resemble Bahasa Malaysia. Then we all talked about the football match last Saturday, since i saw it when me and the homies were chilling at the mamak. It was Man utd vs QPR. i’m not a football junkie but almost everyone should know that QPR is weak as fuck. So yeah QPR actually scored a goal in the 1st half and then Man utd catched up with 4 goals on the 2nd half.

So they’re saying that ManU always catches up on the 2nd half, not sure why. Then we thought maybe Ferguson (the coach) told them something during the half time break. Then shit went out of control, i was saying maybe Ferguson told them that if they don’t catch up, he would teabag the team’s milk with his dry, wrinkly balls and forces them to drink it. We all went hysterical in the library goddammit. good times, gooood times.

Got to know that Turkish guy in class too on that day, he’s not that annoying of a person once you get to know him. Interesting fellow he is.

The next day, my friend proclaimed that he wanted to eat Subway today cuz he had a coupon, so i called dibs on the 2nd 6” sandwich. So we were paying for the sandwiches. then the shop gave us a thick stack of coupons that are usable in that particular subway and told us to spread it around. so i took 1, since the coupons work in December and is valid on a weekly basis. Then other friend who has a subway coupon went and get his share. in which he came back with another stack of coupons, now these coupons are usable in all subway branches until 13th January 2013. Wow! and they gave us 45 of these. so we split it among the 8 of us. Here’s a pic of all the coupon we got

I guess i don’t have to spend so much in that KLCC canteen during Comic Fiesta anymore.

I have 6 coupons myself, i used one to treat my friend back. Well i guess i’m good to go. i’ll pass it to the peeps in SEGi next week i guess.

Then we had another study group, which i screwed around the majority of the time. My friend removed the silicon glue seal from a glass plane thing. and started to play around with it. Then my Labuan friend took the silicon strip and put it on top of my bottle which is just a normal 500ml bottle. The mid part of the strip is on the cover and he was holding both ends and then he let go. the 2 ends drop and hit the sides of my bottle and just stays there.

Not sure why, but this sight is so funny that we all can’t resist the urge to laugh. and then after the study session we all just went back home.

pretty normal week, feels like a slice of life anime. Welp ima goes. Stay fly homies!
