I've Been a Bad, Bad Blogger, Part II

Well, what can I say...
I am a pretty busy working mother of 3 small children. I guess I should consider it good that we even take pictures anymore :)

May 2011

We spent much of May outside. We have to take advantage of the good weather while we can before it gets too hot. (As I write this on June 18, the high today is forcasted for 103!!)

Sam enjoyed his first field day at school early in May. Then he had his school carnival. It was the school's biggest fundraiser of the year and Mom was very involved in its planning, etc. It was VERY successful!

Ollie and Sam both did 2 weeks of swimming lessons at TCU with their head swimming coach. This was Sam's second year and Ollie's first. Sam has always been a cautious swimmer. Since we don't have a pool its hard for him to practice much. So we decided to join the TCU rec center for the summer and have been swimming a lot. Sam is doing GREAT!!!

We have also enjoyed the zoo, and some water play at home with water balloons & our water table. We have had some good times eating, playing and sharing gelato at Central Market too!

Easter 2011

We had a great Easter. The kids did at least 4 easter egg hunts total. We went to two different neighborhood hunts, school hunts and hunts at grandparents. We enjoyed seeing Wendy, Jeff, Jack, Reese and all of our local family at Nana's.

No Training Wheels!!

Sam's 6th Birthday

Sam had a great extended 6th birthday. Mom brought him lunch at school and cookies for his whole class to enjoy. That night we had Chuy's, cake and presents with Nana and Kiki. He got a Wii, Wii Fit and come awesome gift certificates to Toys R Us (for a new bike).

The following weekend, we enjoyed a visit from Wendy, Jeff, Jack and Reese. We all went to the new Legoland Discovery Center in Grapevine. Everyone loved it!!

In lieu of a big birthday party, Sam got to have 2 friends over for a sleepover. It was a first for all of them. It was an experience! We enjoyed hotdogs, cookie cake, Wii and a movie. Only one friend made it all the way through the night.
