Time flies as usual, but this holiday seems to fly off so much faster than the other december holidays. Perhaps it's due to FYP and CAC+US stuffs, including Aerobics stuffs as well. There're so many thing coming up in January and February that December became something unexpected. It didn't start off as what I thought of - just chilling around doing lit review and going for Frisbee - and instead of working out with my mat, trainings and videos, I've been working with my electronic devices. It was up till the point that if I could, I wanna delete whatsapp LOL. Oh wells. Then again, it's a path that I chose so I'll have to see to the end of it. A pity that I couldn't go for Frisbee training and a pity that I applied for hall stay but stayed home instead. Should have applied for holiday access.. sobs. It's okay, I'll work hard to earn back the money wasted :'(
SOOOO, christmas this year was a tad different. I didn't go around taking photos of christmas trees. Neither did I do much. It was just meeting up with different people somehow. Gonna try to consolidate 8days in one post (hopefully not too long a post haha)
Haven't been going to cafes ever since I came back from Korea, but since le Bryan is flying off and wanted to try, I just had to hahahah. No idea why he wanted to go to cafes since there's gonna be lots of cafes in US. The me last year was craving for like...hawker food? hahaha. Oh wells. The portion served wasn't too big so I would say it's quite expensive.
Ordered Egg Sally? (ps forgot the name) and tried chamomile tea for the first time ($15, $5). And he had the Prawn Linguine + latte. I seriously have no idea what's the latte art made though ._. But still, one-to-one has always been the best kindda meetup since you get to talk a lot (: thanks for the little chat though he keep saying I'm hallucinating =.= THERE WAS REALLY A PATH BETWEEN THE TREES, ten years ago when I came ._. The place really changed quite a bit. But anyway, the atmosphere for the cafe was not bad, small and cozy, and the crew was nice. So overall it's still a nice place to visit, though I probably won't go back for long.

The following day was a day of cafe as well, with shuanny~ bus-ed down from school since I stayed up in school to do up the lit review (which ended up to be extra work for me sobs). Waited for that girl for about 30minutes near an hour. So I took the chance to write xmas wishes outside Food for Thought first hehs. It was a Sunday so the place was quite crowded (churches everywhere). An uncle came by to ask for direction and he said, "Thank you ah, if I see you next sunday I will bring you a small gift ok!" xD all I did was just a smile. It kindda made my day although it may sound creepy to some lol. He must have mistaken that I come by every sunday for church :o
Somehow I miss the full work at FFT so I ordered that despite knowing that I couldn't finish it :P
When you are stressed, turn to food instead cos it'll make you feel tired and forget about the stress LOL. Okay it sounds like rubbish but it's true isn't it hehe. Since most of your blood will be concentrated at the stomach for digestion :o the uncle was really nice, but in some people's eyes, too nice = creepy/got problem. Sigh, what have the world become of..
Walked around The Cathay since shuanny needs to buy a xmas gift and I provided her with the best idea I could find there hahah. Wanted a scratch map of the world for myself too but it was likka ex :o Next time ba, or I shall DIY. I guess we're really getting old that the topic we talk about it's getting more emotional these days:x and even about kids when we are still single xD
And since Social Night is coming, gotta do last minute pampering and getting contact lenses once again. The thought of it made me so nervous though I didn't look like one during the actual day. First time attending, and probably it'll be the last. Monday was nothing but a 1 hour ride down to school just to have a 5 minutes talk with my mentor. Best ever eh? So I had the whole day to do threading (nah, it took about 10minutes or so) and the rest of the day worrying that I wouldn't be able to get my contact lenses, and getting GCM which I would never ever touch again. Luckily my saviour managed to help me get a box of lenses^o^ but seriously, why must it always be the lenses I use that stop their production...? :\ first was the acuvue original and now it's bausch and lomb softlens :(
But am satisfied enough to get the acuvue moist at 50bucks (though it's cheaper online) and I'm semi ready for social night~ but first, it's time for alcohol buffet! So apt for the day since it wasn't a good day. Sometimes I'm thinking if I'm too nice to people (cos I don't wanna create trouble) such that I create problems for myself. Ohwell, not caring too much about the carouseller for now.
TADAHHHH! Again, eat when you are stressed hahaha. And after eating this, I regretted =.= cos I ate too much. Finished all these between me and Derek and it only cost like $29. So much more worth it than cafe ^o^ #eatlikkaboss at Nakhon, then #drinklikkaboss at Idle bar and dining.
The place was really ulu, but it was quite okay since derek drove. If not I guess we would have taken a much longer time finding the cafe. Left nakhon late so we only managed to reach around 730~8, which means we only have 3 hours for the alcohol buffet since it's till 11pm. There weren't much people around, just 3 tables including us. Facing the expressway/cycling route, it felt so peaceful; just that the mozzies there are....

It didn't feel cold until after I puked lol. I thought if I were to eat more, I could drink more without getting drunk. Seems like it doesn't work...which is why I regretted eating that much. #allmynakhonwasted lol. Had only 4+ cups (gin and tonic sux like mad) and 2 cups of water. Still, it was worth it since I paid $24 NETT for it (30nett for guys), meaning about less than 6bucks per cup. The nacho and truffle fries we ordered was priced at $7, which was also quite a steal given the huge portion. Such a pity that the buffet offer ends 31st Dec, if not we could have went with arjun when he's back lol. But their normal price was actually quite cheap as well at 8bucks. Still, nothing beats buying a bottle and drinking over at someone's house haha. And since derek drove, we stayed till 2pm singing K on his car before driving off ._."
I probably typed too much of unnecessary stuffs on instagram such that everyone is liking this photo for the wrong reason lols. But thanks again for the night being a gentleman. All the best for the remaining army days! #yesihavealotofguyclosefriends #dontaskmewhy
Sometimes I really wonder if there is pure friendship between a guy and a girl. I always hope to find an answer to it but I guess it's probably hard for me to have one, except for ccf x33 LOL
Christmas eve was meant for me to stay home and finish up my lit review, but as usual, the procrastination took place lol. Somehow I just wanted to waste this day away, cos it has been the day that I loved most ever since years ago. But somehow it's time to stop loving it. Thinking back, I have actually treated this day as Christmas for the past 2 years lol. Okayyy, time to realise 25th as christmasss!
So, it's quite a different experience spending christmas in a church. And surprisingly bumping into familiar faces there. It was overall a fun service with the emotional-but-somehow-became-funny production "Second Chance". The content that the pastor mentioned was kindda different from the usual as well. It felt more light-hearted, probably since it's christmas. The songs were nice~ though it was my first time singing them. The remaining time was spent eating drinking and taking photos haha.
Unexpected goodies and card, most importantly thank you ernie for the invite ^o^ and for intro-ing your friends to us whom were really niceee :)
And on to the last day! Annual boxing day meetup with the lovelies! #NOMNOMTEAMX But missing clara for this year :\ can't wait to have full attendance soon hahaha. Such a long time since I last met them, and once again Julie never failed to make us all smile with her sillyness & gongness xD what did i do to be able to know such a cutie :')
Dinner at Overeasy Diner & Bar and the girl made a not-so-easy chocolate cake for us :')
Do head over to @julieciousssss on instagram if you wanna see more/ buy her bakes! She does requests as well^o^
To many more boxing days together! x33
Christmas prezzies to end off the post! Hope everyone had a merry christmas and it's just slightly less than 30hours to a new year! :)

K歌之后
The scene I saw when I stepped into Plaza Sing hahaha. SESAME STREET!! Cookie monster super cute and round hehs.
So from the retreat, I went home, bathed, and went out immediately without any rest to meet my lovely ladies~ was like 1.5hrs late but whatever~ still had fun :D lainey really sing till crazy and keeps hogging onto the control!!! The best high pitch award goes to her, causing lotsa feedback even the system cannot tank HAHAH. And the best part was realising the background audio for 朋友 LOL. It was a tiring day but you chiobimbzs really made my day x33 (why my friends all so prettaye :o)
Honey chicken balls I tried as well on the same day at plaza sing :):) The uncle was really nice and kept scooping the chicken into the cup despite it overflowing! Initially I thought that it will not be as much but it's quite worth it for the price! Medium (as shown) costs around $6.50, while regular is at $4.50, with two potato balls on top. The chicken wasn't as crispy as the ones sold in Korea but it was passable. I would say the spicy one will probably be a better choice for those that loves spicy!
AND, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY ONE AND ONLY GF ^^ muacksss love you lotslots and hope you like the card :D:D I DREW IT OKAY I DREW IT, she keeps thinking it was printed and I just pasted that few stickers....T.T but anw, credits to whoever that uploaded the design onto google for me to learn from :D:D hopefully I can improve and get better when i draw more! It was so therapeutic learning how to write these^o^ still don't get why r is written that way though hahah :x

Re.C.A.C at Bintan
[CAC Retreat]
It was a pity that I couldn't stay for long, but that I would say that one day there was really fruitful! Minus out all the mozzie bites and spoilt airconditioning and long rides lol.
Gathered at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal early in the morning. It has been quite a while since I'm travelling with so many people, machiam some sec school excursion hahaha. But nahhh, we are going for "retreat". Saw Junda at the terminal and I thought my brain was playing tricks on me, so I ended up not saying hi (since I wasn't too close to him per se...)
The ferry departed 5 minutes before departure time and it took like 2hours+? My phone automatically switched to local time and I thought we only took 45minutes cos there was a time difference(bintan is an hour behind us). Movie played onboard was Fast and Furious x3333 much loves but I slept way before it was played hahaha only to wake up to the ending. Took another bus ride (1hr+) to reach Loola Adventure Resort. IT WAS HORRIBLE. The bus ride I meant. The airconditioning (somehow we were the only suay ones among the 3) was faulty and the bus doesn't have windows that could be opened.... So everyone was literally dying from the heat and the duration. After an hour of ride, we finally reached our destination~~ IT FELT LIKE AIRCON when we alighted. But it was some really ulu place beside the sea. A part of it looks like kukup with huts directly above the sea. Was greeted by the merciless sun, irritating flies and killer mozzies.
Lunch -- Obstacle courses -- Pizza making -- Skywalk -- Discussions. Too lazy to spell out every detail so the photos shall take charge from here onwards~
It was really scary walking to the middle of the wooden rod! Only managed to do it with the help of the person pulling me over LOL. Missed out on the coconut tree climbing since there was a lack of time sobs. I'd rather do that than making of pizza though :\ managed to get to know a few people though I still couldn't put the names to the faces. Probably only remembered a few...
Our bunks were seriously like those that we have during sec2 adventure camps but with proper mattress and quite good ventilation for those on the top level. There's nothing more to ask for. As for the shower... the one I went was quite 'open', so mozzies fly in when I'm showering and hence...more bites ToT but overall it's alright~
The discussion session was quite insightful I guess. Knowing what the subclubs feel really helps a lot and yeap I shall reflect on my part as well :O and learning by the quotes "Learn to be led, in order to lead" and "A good leader is a good listener". Sums up the whole of my retreat though I'm missing out on all the water activities D':
Featuring the pregnant cat that roams around and Chantelle who was so engrossed in patting it lol.
Arrived in Singapore at 1pm and managed to get a cab buddy yayyy. Was still hesitating since it's expensive to cab home BUT was so happy to know that Yinnshan stays at BP as well wheeee. Muscle aches here and there and feeling really lethargic but all I know is that it was worth it :)

The lasts of Year 4 Sem 1
![]() |
FINAL IS OVERRRRRRRR. Okay, I do not really have the feeling that it is over since I'm still stucked in school. FYP be goneee. I haven't been staying for holiday stay since year 1, but now I am back to vacation stay when I'm year 4 lols. I guess when you get older, cycle repeats. Forgive me for not updating this space since like donkey months ago, my lovely blog. I'm actually quite surprised by the traffic I have though I didn't update. Expected zero traffic but it turned up to be different. No idea who's reading my blog but yeah, hope it wasn't too boring for yall hahah.
One reason for not updating this space is due to the convenience that dayre brings. I guess my dayre is a public space yet it is not totally public. I mean yeah, people can just randomly bump into your dayre posts but that doesn't mean they can actually find you on purpose since you can't find using emails or contacts or whatsoever. And up till now since only a few friends follow me on dayre, it gives me more comfort in just doing short rants over there. Blogging feels a little different in a sense that there is no stickers (you have to literally upload it from somewhere) and it doesn't feel legit to just upload a random shoutout like "Oh i'm so bored.", but dayre gives you a freedom to do that since people rarely read dayres on a computer screen ._. even if they do, everything will look more like an instagram feel (more blowed-up). Somehow, I do enjoy blogging more since I can just write on and on whereas dayre limits the number of words for each individual post. I don't have to restrict my photos in a sqaure as well. No idea why dayre still uses it when instagram has already removed it.
#random
Finally managed to tick off No. 7 and 22 on my CheckList (on the left)! :D:D
In general, this semester has been chillax at the start till near the ends where I died having deadlines all one after another. Didn't have this problem for the past few years but when it hit final periods, everything went back to chillax mode again. Afterall, I'm still alive :)) Hall life has become more dull due to my lack of socialising and laziness. The inertia to start talking to people is actually darn high in final year. I still enjoy small talks but HTHT rarely happens nowadays for me in hall. Somehow, I felt that the people who actually knows me are either busy with their own stuffs or not in hall anymore. But I'm still glad that my level mates are nice and I had fun during ccas.

I can't believe that I started joining so many CCAs when I'm in my final year - where people assumed to be the busiest. Fair enough, I was occupied with FYP and the most burden design project, but time is for you to allocate, you choose which you wanna sacrifice. Either I sacrifice my other mods or I sacrifice my sleep time. As simple as that. Time is math.
6 ccas for my final year, just 1.5 short compared to my first year. Like I said, somehow I returned to year 1, just a little more serious and better prioritisation this time round lols. Some people may wonder how I actually cope. To be honest, year 1 with 7.5 ccas wasn't a problem. It actually depends on what kind of cca you join. Some ccas require just commitment of once a week, some requires slightly more (2/3 times a week for sports), some require a bulk holiday commitment, whereas some requires otot commitments. For dance and sports, it's a season thing. You prepare for an event/competition, and after that you just disappear from the cca, with casual no-commitment trainings. We only prepare for a hall concert for dance in sem 1 and it ends a month before exams. Workshop still goes on but I decided to sacrifice that time for something else. Prioritising. It's something that I realised I have when I am no longer limited by factors such as points and all. It's practicality isn't it. Sometimes I'm actually thankful that I'm not as practical in year1 - because that was when I managed to tried almost everything that I wanted. I enjoyed myself a lot without being practical.
CAC+US is kindda otot and a lot depends on the people in it. If they do not send me anything/do not respond, I can't continue on doing the next thing on my checklist. The only thing I can do is to nag. But in a university context, the concept of commitment becomes very vague and nobody can do anything to you if you do not want to cooperate. For sheares production, there wasn't much requirements on my part since I'm just a helper. Dramafest was the only thing I went for and yeah it was just 3 days and I wasn't an important figure. Just chill, hahah. Frisbee and aerobics both are weekly commitments and abit of otot commitments for aerobics since I'm doing logistics as well for the club. When you've seen more than year1, you tend to want to climb up to the top to the management roles. First time being a 'director'/head and there sure leads to more exposure to conflicts and such. Compared to when you are just a member, you need to deal with much more shyt. I do complain to people about all those problems but I realised that somehow I need all these shyt to make me more decisive and outspoken. There's no denying that I grew and learnt more through the semester. EMCC was an even more chillax cca since I just have to be there for 2 events this semester and I went for one workshop. One-off stuffs is still the best to do. Probably also partly why I'm more interested in this industry. You finish with one production and you move on to another. After yesterday's convo with Junkai and Shuxian, I realised that a lot of jobs are one-off; you'll finish one project and you move on to another or you'll have to finish a design and you move on to another problem. But somehow it is more appealing to me for productions. Therefore, I concluded that I prefer to deal with internal situations compared to externals. You'll never find me in publicity cell 'cause I shun away from sales which is an external issue.

The photo doesn't show all the dramas that I've watched but recently (that's abit crazy) but I've been watching dramas from like all countries??? Never thought that I would go back to watching mainland dramas (where did all the nice korean and taiwan shows go to?! argh). Guess I still stay by my roots hahah. I didn't learn mandarin from the start and my mandarin was as poor as shyt. If I remembered correctly I only started speaking mandarin in P2? (sorry for wrong info if you heard that it was 3years old lol)
I NEED MORE DRAMAS - to watch, not in my life though :P

We Could Fly.
If we could fly, I'll wanna soar up to the sky and just think of nothing, enjoying the cool breeze that blows against my face. If we could fly, like how time flies... D:
Couldn't find the time to post a proper post so this is yet another episodic post~ I don't know if it's the right term to use but whatever, so long as I know what it is :D
22Aug
Supposedly we were to go to changfeng's house to play mahjong, darren even brought the foldable mj table to his house but we didn't use in the end ._. finally tried playing Saboteur 2 and played Avalon after such a long time. Last I played was in UK with the bunch of medicine people when we just started the semester hahah. Had so much fun being mindblown by everyone as usual and we proceeded to steamboat x33 miss times like this where we talk about the past, academics and random shytz. We should start planning grad trip together!! xD Darren sent us home and we zoomed from Boonlay to CCK in 5 minutes.... cfc was worse -.- Was just glad that everyone got home safely~
26Aug
Super expensive korean food in the CBD area and drinks after wth Arjun. 5bucks per drink is really such a steal. First time drinking beyond what I've always drank and I'm surprised that I've still got more control than him lolol.
Whisky vodka whisky vodka. Such a chill place I'll definitely be back! The paper that they lay on the table (what's it called?) even has puzzles on it for you to solve! Such a cute concept to remind us of the things we do when we were young - connecting the dots lol.
27Aug
Meetup with Shuxian for dinch! After endless times of failed plans we finally met up^^ still surprised by how much we could talk, although she did the talkings most of the time hahah. Such a short meet and LatePlate wasn't opened so we went On The Table instead +o+ Love the baileys with choc icecream *salivates*
28Aug
Another random dinner with le sis and mum. Best thing about going out with family is that you don't have to care about how expensive the food is hahaha. That's probably my goal in the future - to be able to heck the price when eating with loved ones x3 but us being Singaporeans will still find cheap stuffs like....
Omg faints. I don't know if there's actually only a few drops of condensed milk or what, the ice is kindda tasteless. I wanted to avoid eating the ice cream but I ended up using it as a substitute for the condensed milk that is lacking. I'd say I can easily replicate this at home for less than 6bucks. Probably less than 2 -,- the oreo one looks nicer though.
30Aug
HAHA too bad the person likes me more^^ Study day at my favourite hideout with Kaixuan, plus lunch at Nakhon before that, in which the pad thai didn't taste as nice as previous times. First attempt in studying - such a great sense of satisfaction LOL. I really need people to study with me in order for me to reach my activation energy gosh. Hopefully I can get to go there more often on days without labs and definitely during recess week and after GLC~
4Sep
Today is Mummy's birthday! And pone's one as well. Was so glad that my powerbank came as well muahahah.
Bought this cute compact and lightweight powerbank that costs near to 30bucks. Felt so thankful for the 3bucks discount coupons on qoo10 that helped me offset my delivery fee^o^ It was bubble wrapped and came with a handy plastic box that boxed the user manual, cable and the powerbank itself. Besides the microusb cable, it also came with a spare part for iphones! Fret not people I can help yall charge your apples now~~ (provided i brought the out LOL). It also came with a grey waterproof bag and guess what? I've used it to full charge my phone and helped my friend charge it to 50% AND ALL 4 LIGHTS WERE STILL LIT!! Don't tell me it's spoilt lolol. I shall try to charge more and see how it goes! Pretty satisfied for the 12000mah capacity for now.
Dad came to fetch me to dinner so...SHAMELESS SELFIE TIME hahahah.
If you are observant enough, you would have realised that my bb cream doesn't blend in with the colour of my neck ToT cos it's white but my neck is yellowish? :\ shouldn't have listened to the salesperson to get a shade lighter...HMPHF.
As for dinner, we decided on The Clifford Pier! The ambience there was close to perfection. I would say that it's pretty affordable!
The live music made the experience even better, and they sang us a birthday song as expected lol. I actually asked for no song when I booked but ohwell...My sis and I were just super ps LOL. But I think my mum liked it. The song was played before the cake came out so they re-sang it hahaha.
Loved how my new hair looks in the family photo which I'm too lazy to transfer over to my com haha. You can just look at it on my instagram xP
5Sep
Because sis was bored, so we decided to try out making sorbet which obviously failed hahahah. Taste more like icekachang but it's really refreshing!
8Sep
Short meetup with this girl before she flies off again~~ Somehow or rather it's quite funny how I meet her more often than other friends who are perma in Singapore. #loveloveszxc
Stateland coffee is closed on tuesday and we didn't realise it before we head over to bugis. SO, we have to settle for Symmetry instead. Not a bad choice but just that I feel like eating pasta and just so happened we went there during their transition timing where they only have waffle.
I was really impressed by the amount of stuffs they place on the plate! Couldn't finish it though since it's really gelat and filling but the ice cream was super nice!
Thereafter went to meet Changfeng and Shaoying (after snacking like don't know how many times) and ate at yakun. Met their friend as well and I guess I'm still socially awkward to new people hahah. Had a nice night though, before Changfeng flies off, AGAIN. Seeyou next year, my friend~
And I finally got my watch from Shaoying x33 YES I HAZ WATCH IN HALL NOW lolol.
I can't decide if it's real or fake but ohwell it was much cheaper online and it's fine as long as it's working haha. Will feature my Gorillapod next time!!! :D:D
9Sep
Happy birthday Shuanny!!! x333 although you won't see this anyway hahah.
Had such fun at dance today and I'm really glad to be able to do this item! Love the moves and the songs. Swag much ;D Can't imagine life without hall dance anymore after this academic year...
Time check: 3.35AM
Time to sleep, but all these was worth it and I had fun recalling them :)
Nights, world.
Couldn't find the time to post a proper post so this is yet another episodic post~ I don't know if it's the right term to use but whatever, so long as I know what it is :D

Another random dinner with le sis and mum. Best thing about going out with family is that you don't have to care about how expensive the food is hahaha. That's probably my goal in the future - to be able to heck the price when eating with loved ones x3 but us being Singaporeans will still find cheap stuffs like....

Today is Mummy's birthday! And pone's one as well. Was so glad that my powerbank came as well muahahah.

Lobster Roll which all of us ordered (S$32++). The serving was kindda small but the truffle fries will do the job

Pandan icecream cake which was surprisingly yummy (S$9++)

1/4 of the complimentary bday cake hehe. Tastes like choco exotic from 4leaves though
