finally went for my gynae appointment last sat, 30th May 09....this time, hubs was down with high fever and i had to go for my checkup ALONE!!! =( so sad lor...cos we made a promise that we'll attend all appointments together and witness little seed's growth together.....sigh~ nvm lar....next visit he'll attend with me... =)so amidst my busy schedule last weekend, i took an hour off to see my gynae...
had a scan as usual...so there i lay on the bed waiting for the ultrascan to begin for approximately 15mins. as i lay there, i could feel little seed's movement inside...wonder what she was doing...
when YG finally put the scanner on my huge tummy, little seed stopped moving lar.....sickening...when YG want to confirm her gender, she refused to unfold her legs lor....pengz~ in the scan, i could see her folding her legs tightly....and we could see some urine in her bladder...wahahaha...so funny....YG says she'll pee into the waterbag.... =p
anyway, YG still managed to confirm her gender...and of course, she's 100% GIRL!!! =) and she's weighing about 316g now....gosh~ i wonder how heavy are the water bag and placenta sia....coz i put on a whopping 9kg since the start of pregnancy!!! hopefully it's not into my own body fats...
oh by the way, i'm officially 20 weeks preggy on the 30th may 09....hehe...5months...woohoo~ halfway through...

my tummy is getting bigger Bigger & BIGGER!!! i took my measurement around my waist, and guess what???? .... it went up for 4inches!!!! pengz... i hope little seed is getting all the nourishment she requires and not ME the one taking in nia...hahahaha....
have tried taking in more meat like beef, pork and liver...last friday, went for my uncle's birthday celebration, we have foie gras as our appetizer lar!!! hahaha...cool right? then i started asking my auntie and uncle, is foie gras full of proteins too??? hahahaha....i immediately look at hubs face... =p when they said 'yes!', i super happy and gave hubs a grin...wahahahaha.....just fyi, i just love eating foie gras...hahahaha...hubs just gave me i-know-what-you-thinking face...hahahahahaha....
anyway, now, i should be in my 16th week...
starting to feel alittle movement in my tummy...hehe...should be little seed moving bahz...and not my tummy growling all the time bahz...hehehe...can't wait to see how much little seed has grown...my stretch mark symptoms are starting to itch liao...at times, i just can't stand it, feel like scratching ar...it's spreading to my thighs... =( i don't want elephant tighs!!! hopefully i don't get those extreme pregnancy bloating...hahaha....*keeping fingers cross*

2nd trimester's first checkup

i went for my first 2nd trimester checkup last friday...it was brought forward cos doc suspects i've got gastritis after thursday's puking....had puked after every meal on thursday...i thought it was just morning sickness but i didnt expect gastritis....sigh~ anyway, i'm fine now...so friday, had our routine checkup....and once again, doc said 80% confirmation is a baby gal!!! =) 100% confirmation can only be done next month during my next checkup...and now, little seed is almost my hand size!!! so fast lor....next checkup, doc says the whole of little seed can NO LONGER fit into the ultrasound scan screen le...OMG~ wonder how much bigger will my stomach grow by then sia....
dr yg tan is a very funny doc larz..hahaha....he told us that he'll check on baby's gender through the fastfood method...i was wondering, what fastfood method? meaning got faster way to find out baby's gender issit?
answer is NO...hahaha...what he meant is, if it's a boy, you'll see hotdog, and if it's a gal, it's a hamburger you'll see....wahahahaha.....and he asked, 'so who's betting on a gal and who's betting on a boy?'...hahaha...cartoon larz...and he still told us to bet $100...wahahaha....
anyway, here's the 2 ultrasound scan i did on friday...

by the way, my blood test results are out.....sianz....once again, i'm told that i've got low blood pressure....and i need lotsa proteins and that means eating more RED MEAT!!!! gosh~ that'll definitely make me balloon even faster manz.... =S
next checkup, 30th May...at the meantime, i'm still taking all the supplements of proteins, calcium and folic acid....sigh~ these are gross.....endure Endure ENDURE PEARL!!!!!
oh yah, last but not least, my due date has been brought forward to the 17th Oct 09!!! omg~ getting earlier and earlier...but dr tan says he'll do an average calculation after taking a few more dates...so far it's 23rd at first, followed by 21st and now 17th oct...hahaha....can buy toto...WAHAHAHA...including 21st feb is the date i discover my pregnancy...hahaha...so buy, 2, 8, 10, 17, 21, 23.... =p just kidding...hahahaha

yesterday i went for my checkup with dr tony tan (not the minister fyi. haha)...did an ultrasound scan once again to test for little seed's chances of abnormality....and i'm so glad that the chances are 1:3000+... which doc says it's a normal range for my age..... *prays for little seed's health*got quite a no. of ultrasound scan pics....shall upload soon.. =) and my little seed is now as big as my palm size!!! =D measuring at 6.7cm dated at 13wks and 1 day old!!! hehe...we could see little seed's features through the scan le loh!!! cool~ AND.....................as well as the gender....hahahahaha........ =D
through the scan, i was so worried doc will tell me bad news lar....so i was holding on to dear dear's hands throughout.....and i can feel dear dear's tension too....after which it came to the part when doc asked us if we want to know little seed's gender, both of us squeezed each other's hands real tight...hahahaha.....so excited larz!!! and he told us, 80% of the time he's right, while 20% of the time he's wrong larz....so it's just a rough gauge for us....hmmmm~ already so excited he tell me these.....so i said "ok ok, can" quickly.....hahaha...then he said, his prediction is a GIRL!!!!! woohoo~~~~~~ hahahaha......i can immediately feel dear dear's disappointment...hahahaha... =p
i know dear dear is super disappointed...and he starts telling me, wait for dr yg tan to confirm it...so he still got 20% chances...hahahaha...and he's not going to give up on the idea that little seed is a BOY....hahahahaha....sickening hubs~ shall wait till the 25th april to confirm this as well as little seed's stability... =)

ooops~ long time no updates on little seed...hehefinally our next appointment is approaching...this thursday... =) but i doubt there will be a scan this time....however, there should be one on the 25th...so excited...can't wait to know little seed's gender!!! =D
also, dad just announced little seed's existence to granny...hehe...finally~ and i'm so glad granny is very happy to hear about it and she started telling me all the stuffs i shouldn't be eating and stuffs i shouldn't be doing...hahaha...typical adults.... =p
feeling fat recently, yesterday night, i went to weigh myself on mum's weighing scale...guess wat??!!!!!! i just tipped my heavist weight ever!!!!!!!! 50KG liao!!!! omg~ so i sms-ed dear dear about it...this is how our conversation went:
me: ur dearest wife has tipped her heaviest weight at 50kg le!!! n she's super demoralised... =(
dear: haha. But ur dearest gong very happy coz his bb is growing...
me: keke...kuku gong (hubs)...remember save money for fat po's(lao po) slimming program...hehe
dear: save for my bb better.muack
me: gt bb don't want lao po already la...kuku...
dear: when the product is out, the factory is useless...(WTH!!!!)
me: WTF...the factory is still open for business!!! i want to manufacture 2 products one hor...
dear: haha...not business is maintenance, that's equals to money. so cut down on maintenance and focus on product

this week, my morning sickness has finally subsided although i do feel puky at times....but it's definitely much better compared to last week...little seed's "swimming pool" must have reduced by alot last week after all the puking...wahahaha....but somehow or rather, i can feel that my stomach is very bloated with water this week!!! he/she is replenishing his/her swimming pool!!! hahahaha..... =pi've just changed my next gynae appointment to the 16th apr....so scared so scared....cos i'll be going through a test for down syndrome on little seed....i pray for little seed's healthy growth....
just the other day, i was having a nightmare about the test....dreaming of all the needles i need to endure during the test....ewwww........woke up crying...hahaha.....that's how scared i am of needles...even when the nurse drew blood for me on my last checkup, i was practically pinching dear dear liao....sickening amateur nurses....take blood so lousy...my veins so obvious and big, she still tell me cannot see...pengz...hopefully that's the first and last time i'll be drawing blood during this pregnancy....

i think this week is the worse week i've gone through since little seed exists...was on mc on monday and tuesday....went to work as usual on monday morning, however, i couldn't stop puking whenever i consume any food or water....and this made me so drowsy...sickening...so there came my 2 days mc...
wednesday was perfectly fine...weird...
thursday, once again, i made a dash to the toilet a couple of times to puke...and my boss is so sweet lar...he told me if i'm feeling unwell, i can actually opt to work from home!!! cool right~ afraid that retrenchment will come my way with my current working attitude, i told boss that it's ok, it's only the first trimester that's like this...but he told me not to worry knowing what i'm thinking.... =) what a sweet boss i have...
anyway, today, ONCE AGAIN, i puke...........arghhhh........and best part, all puking timing is after breakfast and my supplement time...i wonder if my supplements have already digested lar....sigh....what if i puke all my supplements out, then little seed is under nourished....how how... =( i can't wait for this to end.....
