ok ok.. i know all are longing to see my photos. I'm still in the mist of putting them together. Anyway..here is the first few which i'd sorted out. This first collage are photos taken from the window where i'm staying.

Oh..the cake is nice.Its a mango cake, and surrounded with a thin layer of egg/crepe on the side.Its not that sweet.Yum.I dont remember where they get it.I was too focus on eating my yummy slice of cake.*chom chom*

worry no more

Yeah..worry no more! i'm back on track,at least more on track than before, after having a chat with kenneth kor kor. Thanks to him, my dear frens don't hv to worry so much for me now. I know a quite a number were worried for me.Esp the ple in the meh meh group. And surprisingly so is my supervisor. Only get to found out after he called me into his office today for a chat today. I'm really glad i've so many friends/pple who are so concerned for me. I felt so loved by all. *hugs*

He had the emotion transition from worried->hurt from my replies ->frustrated till vomitting blood-> relived after i started to be able to crap -> glad i'm better now but drained out. Fri nite. Met with Fiona, Suwen, Eugene, Christina, boyfriend and..erm..suwen's housemate. I forget their names. sorry.ITs a great catch up n knowing new friends. Its such a different feeling to see all of them again. Had jap dinner, nice ice cream n went to see the fireballs at Crown. Nice..miss all of u much.Do take care of urselves. Fiona, hope to see u in Brisbane or in KL or somewhere again. So sad to know you are going back to Perth so soon. I won't hv a city guide who is available whenever i call. Hhehehe..

Went on a road trip earlymeeting the st cats group. Went to catch sunrise @ grampians, its freaking cold! my toes went numb n when i get back to the car, its so painful cos its like contracting n expanding. GOsh..pain.

Had breakfast after that n that is when my weakness hit me. Motion sickness. I dont really know when it started cos i was tired and went to sleep. When i woke up, my head hurts, then the next moment, i realized its motion sickness. Goodness.vomited only a bit, not much but it feels bad. was super giddy n i cant really stand up or walk straight. I kept wanting to lean on something or fall forward. Its so terrible. Yes..was that sick.No..i'm not drunk. Sounded like i'm drunk rite?no..this is so sick till i can't really talk. Drinking water doesn't help so i tot of candies..and it does abit.

James's friends were so nice, they waited for me to recover and another friend cooked a pot of porridge for me. Gosh!! Really 101% touched. Nearly went speechless when i opened the pot of porridge. Its tasty some more. Gosh..so yummy. James is so lucky to hv gals to cook for him.Kekkee Anyway, Thanks a lot to Loraine who cooked the porridge for me. ^__^

Erm..however, this resulted that James cant go out with his friends tonite & has to look after me. A million apologies.Felt so bad cos he is so tired already who hardly slpt last nite. Owe u a big favour.

rainy sunday

rainy day.dont like, hv to drag myself out to buy stuffs. really dont like rainy days, even my bag rains. Blur me din close the water bottle properly n my bag was soaked which in turn drenched my pants. yes..so i'm wet from shoes, pants bottom, side, n even my bag.crap~!!

Dinner was good.Had it at Punjabi (again..i'm starting to get sick of it.really sick.) Anyway, i'd a group of nice company. Made new friends. 4 germans, 2 swedish (from sweden), 1 australian. cool... the germans are friendly + nice. Nice to know them. Thanks to Frank who invited me for the dinner.

Cherri is back from Perth. So happy.(^____^)Heheh..she'd seen lazycat's place b4 i did. Cant wait to see the photos. (^_^) Still raining at nite, it'd been raining since morning, non stop.seriously don't like. Slow internet, really terrible, cant do much search.ah well..tmr then.

Fri +Sat = Enjoyable

Fri...hmm..an interesting day which i recapped my networking stuffs + learnt new things. Suddenly miss my hons years n my prev uni. Hons was a torture for me n yet when i think of it now, i do miss it. Maybe cos i've a gd sup too. MIss all those times. anyway..its a gd recap. Thanks James.

Then head to the city for dinner, on the way, saw Jay!! Surprising. So cool to see him again. He always remind me of a fren, Sernwei back in perth.Hhehe.. "Bro, do u have a lost twins?? "
HEHhe..anyway...its great to see him again.

Was a bit late meeting Frank n Reg, cos the train was delayed for about 11mins. Reached the jap restaurant, n i saw a familiar back view while waiting in the queue n gosh..is another fren i bumped into in 1 nite. Din talk much cos..erm..he is on a date.Kkeke..so..just say hi n bye. Was surprised i met so many frens in less than an hr n on the same day. The restaurant was packed, so the 4 of us were spilt up. I choose to sit with Reg, cos i really wanna catch up with her. Its quality time i like to spend with frens.Hehhehe..Glad Reg enjoyed the dinner. Head for cuppa after that and guess what, i saw my Brazilian hsemates!!!! ho ho ho...Gosh..i saw a lot of pple tonite but I'm happy abt it. I guess i'm really a ppl person, i need frens, actually i knew a few yrs ago just that, i'm more sure of it now.I need all my dear frens around n i'm so grateful to have all of them in my life n are around for me when i needed them (at least for some of them, which i considered as dear ones). Dont misunderstand me, I do cherish all my frens alot, no matter how far we are apart,or age difference or u'd ever hurt me b4, or forgotten me. I'll always remember u till the end of my time. Promise.Unless my memory starts to deteriorate badly.

Anyway its a gd start for my wkends. ^___^

Next day, Sat morning, being woken up at 530am by hsemates to open the doors for them. *YAWN* slept 3 hrs woken up n only slept another 2hrs and hv to wake up. Promised Kenneth to make the indian dahl roti/japadi/naun (whtever) for him to try so i dragged myself out of bed, n starting making them. THey turn out better today..cos partly the indian lady is around to guide me i suppose.Hehhee.

Then rushed to meet up with Andrew n Kenneth to visit the temple. I havent seen Andrew for quite a while..maybe a wk++. Glad to hv the talk-cock session with them. HAHA..

After which, we headed for Kenneth kor kor's place, was introduced to Guild wars. SO cool!!!! I've a character, an assassin now. HEHeh.. a pretty one but with a wired name.*cough* i'm still bad at it..will learn. HHEehe...

Then..wht happened next is entertaining n it got tiring after a while. Had a movie marathon, not planned actually. 1st one is 300 n is damn solid! LIke it.

**Warning: if u cant take brutal n bloody stuffs, u better dont watch it.

Then was lord of the rings..erm..i din finish it, cos its getting late n i'm a bit tired. Will continue sometime later.I guess after watching 300, the fighting scenes in LOR have no impact on me, maybe on the frenship part..else..nothing felt much. Kenneth kept saying he shdn't had let me watched 300 first. HAHA..too bad. even if its later, i still prefer 300 cos its solid. Heheh..

its a great sat, enjoyed the company n freedom. i was able to play piano, play games, n watched movies. N 1 last thing...cos i can have EGGS.LOL..yes..depreived. Eggs now is more powerful than choc that can make me happy. Our dinner was interesting too but its great. We had a breakfast style dinner.Heheh.weird but yummy n along with junk food.LOL..guilty~!

Oh..verdict of my indian japadi..not bad.A bit blend i guess. its ok, will continue to make better ones, so that cherri n the others can try them out..n along with 1-2 curries which i'll learn soon. Jackfruit curry is 1 of them..new stuff rite?kekeke..fun!! ^^

Just recall, hving a dinner invitation..gosh..my wkend is quite pack in fact. NVM, i like.Hehhe.

Ekka day, public holiday.rested at home.nv attend the centre event. was too tired & had a headache n started coughing [weather is cold today], no sun. Its a day for me to recharge, practise roti making again n tidy up my room cos cant stand messiness. Its a bit diff now cos i change the position of some items. I like it now. Nice.

Realized many frens having their birthday this mth..such as Frank, Dave, Andrea, Junyi, Shinwee, Andrew, James, Aison..i dun hv my list with me so i can only remember these :P Sorry if i had left out your name..just let me know and i'll remember the next time. Promise.Anyway...Happy birthday to all Aug babies.
There's quite a number next month too.That includes my team mates..all having their bday next mth :S

Seated at table 21.. there's 2 more white candles at the side of the basket of flowers, so like funeral. Andrew received the cerft of appreciation for his contribution. Felix came over our table to say hi . At a scene, he placed Andrew's appreciation certf standing next to the flower (unintentionally, cos he is talking n just putting it down after looking at it). That scene [flowers + candles] it looks so like erm..*touch wood*. Anyway we went:" Eh..felix.." and all of us just luff. Hehhe..Frens at my table...

National day dinner

Sat Night falls and the cats are out..*meowsss*

Attending a national day dinner at the Sebel hotel.
erm..how wrong can u be when u wore the wrong dress code? Its so embarrassing + super awkward. Imagine,everyone wearing evening dress ..i'm so outstanding, esp when my top is white.

Anyway..the dinner is enjoyable. There's live jazz band when u are hving dinner. Awesome! that's what i always wanted..and i finally get to enjoy it. Nice... will love to hunt for another place that is like that. Entertainment is good. There's an indo dance (dunno how it is even related to sg), but its entertaining. Later, we had a trio singers band singing for us while we continue to hv our meals or chit chatting. They are really good. Like it when they sing the songs in acapella style. Also had a fashion show..heeh..we were all telling Jasmine she shd go..she really looks pretty that nite. Heheh.. Really. I'm not lying, Jasmine. U are gorgeous! Later we had raffle draws..heeh..Felix won a foot massager, and David from our table won tix to the Cats play. Andy won a bottle of win though..ehhe..still its fun. everyone were eyeing on the return ticket to SG. Too bad none of us won. Next time..so they say.

The dinner finished off with dance. Man..was dragged to the dance floor. Havent been dancing/ clubbing for ages. last time was in perth with my gang of st cat gals. Heheh..wow..that's abt 2.5 or at least 3yrs. Anyway, its fun. I'm quite bad at dancing..so dun even ask how i dance. Lucky Jay came round to accompany me, else i was like a light bulb between william n jasmine. LOL..ah..jasmine..dont say me n william ah..he danced with u first. LOL. Me n Jay were luffing among ourselves. Kekkeek.. OH..we saw Joel there!!! surprising..we only get to see him at the dance floor.Hhehe..didn't know he can dance.

At least during the nite. i got to catch up with some frens n know new ones. Nice..not many but its gd enough.Ok..dats all..update soon again. Ekka is this coming wed...so might have photos.

Roti making lesson

Another ordinary Saturday morning, mood still a bit damp. A bit reluctant to get out of bed but did get out in the end cos I’ve a roti making lesson. Yup, had arranged to learn it today.

I’d soaked the beans + peas overnight, was shocked when I see how much it’d expanded.Used mung beans + azuki bean (should be red beans (smaller) but that’s what I’ve atm) + chickpeas + yellow peas. Can use more kinds of peas but I’ve limited stock last nite. Shall get more types tomorrow.
Anyway we made the fillings first then the dough. To me, the dough is the most difficult, cos u need d strength to knead, n in turn affects the texture of the roti. Aniwae it turn out pretty gd today. Just that it is still not as round as the indian lady’s. She is super good! D pix shall justify wht I’d said.
Roti making is really an art. Must know the technique + practice + common sense + tricks to make it. If u know me long enough, then u will be thinking aloud: “huh!! muthu has limited common sense/ah blur one leh. Sure have problem.”. Luckily, d roti is not too tricky. *relieved* If not, u guys will be right, my roti will be horrible n the indian lady will be vomitting blood. We’d made 9 roti in total : 7 of them by me, 2 of them by the indian lady.

Overall, the process is fun n I like it. I guess cos I’ve interest->more motivated-> more fun.This is so opposite from my research which is no interest -> no motivation -> no fun -> might give up.Guess my endurance is running out as time goes. I’m sick of it, n cant handle downs too well lately. Time to take a break or just reflect how to improve on it or even review shd I give up.

had a phone conference with my sup in melbcrap..we realized, wht i'd done is not wht she wanted. great..re-do again.

D worst part is that she said that was not wht she told me b4. *worsen my giddeness*

Side-track..cherri mentioned abt my red highlights are more obvious than previous. Its only till today..(erm..she made the comment like wks ago) why its more obvious cos i did notice it lately, esp today, beri sensitive to red colour today. I just get to recall a few mins ago.Erm..erm...cos when i tie up my hair, it reveals the lower layers of the reds, and this lower layer was made to be have darker tone than the top. So even when the top goes off, the bottom remains red.Erm..now then i remembered why.LOL.Sorry, cherri dear, i took so long to reason out.

frank's bday

09aug..frank's bday.
so i finished my national day with frank's bday dinner at a Greek resturant. Its not bad i suppose, don't quote me cos i was super hungry that time, so anything is nice to eat. I tried the greek coffee..its bitter sweet n u can still feel the coffee grain within when u drink it. erm..its just a new experience. Was trying to recall, is the turkish coffee the same. BUt i do know that turkish coffee solidify after while but not this greek one.

Looks like choc drink rite?hehe..its not..its sort of expresso but a sweet one.

Looks at wht a feast we or shd say..the guys had. There's more dishes, we need to hv another small table/stool to put them. We were all beri full after the meal.

Even though we are full, d 3 monkeys head for 3 monkeys. HAd coffee & tea & cake.. Frank is just too nice, he doesnt want me to buy him another slice of cake. Yet he treated us the drinks.

Anyway we didnt even manage to finish the one we are having. Too full. We headed home early, at least compared to the other times, it is early..partly cos i'm tired + hv curfew again cos the lady is alone at home. That's how i spent my national day?! Must be thinking: "wht is this?not even celebrating for SG. " whaha..dont worry..i'm going for some formal dinner tmr. This is sth related to SG i suppose. Kenna bluffed by Mr andrew. Yes..u..dont look away andrew. I kick u.

yes...i'm learning the art to make roti WITH fillings..ah..that is something special. that's the best cos its tasty. I lub it when i'd it at Punjabi, west end.Now i get to know how to make it.Its fun!! REALLY.yea yea, muthu woke up late again..n was learning how to make filled roti on a Thurs morning/national day. Nice rite? whwahah..esp when supervisor is not around. i'm naughty heheh..

Its really an art, u cannot roll it too hard or too soft, really must know the technique. I'll practise, n try out all kinds of fillings. hehe..fun fun. =) Welcome any suggestions for the fillings, i'm thinking of sweet mixed nuts..or smoked almond? wow..heheh..*slurp slurp*

Oh..n 2 Brazil boys are staying at my place for..eh..a few wks, i forget how long. They are coming this sun. Interesting..brazilian..wht kind of food do they eat? Gosh..the 4 little gals just told me about Brazilian guys b4 they left last wk..what an coincidence, shall see if what they say is true. Teheheeheh..fun. and later, we are going to hv a china gal over. Poor grandma has to sleep in the living room again. :(

Was invited to an Indian wedding again(3rd one in fact )in Oct at Fiji.hmm...can consider but depends on my research progress.

my day was brighten to see a little envelope sitting on my keyboard when i arrived at my desk on Tue morning. So nice..really a surprise. I didn't expect Lisa to send anything from Japan.awww..so sweet of u, Lisa. I luv the stamp so much..so so much. Really, cos i collect stamps+postcards (i know..boring hobby) n its pretty. Will keep it safe as it is my 2nd stamp from Japan. First one was from Tomoko, from Oita but but..erm..its somewhere at home in Singapore. :p Heheh..now my stamp collections expands with stamps from Jap, USA, France, all thanks to frens who will send me post cards or just letters or surprises wherever they are or when they travel. Thanks a lot my frens. ^___^ However...whahaha..i want more, from anywhere.Kekek..*greedy sam* Oooh.. shall wait for Canada one..i hope to receive a letter from there.Heheh.. or..S.korea?! We played a bear-hunter-villager game. Its so fun..whaha..the most funnie scene is when the game host is selecting the bears n hunter. Everyone just put out our hands, bend down our head n closed our eyes. Looks really like praying. I guess the waiter&waiteress wonder if we are having some cult gathering. erm.. Walking back home tonite is not a gd experience esp on wkends. There were kids at that time n is a big group n they are shouting and asking me to get out of aus. (racist attack). I was so scare..i was walking beri fast. At that moment, Jasmine text me..i feel a bit better n luckily my dad called cos i guess some are drunks, n the path thru the park is a bit dark actually.erm..scary to encounter them. Beri relieved when i reach the door of my place. Glad i'm home now.

yoghurt craze

luv yoghurts all the while. my parents won't let me eat much of that when i'm in sg due to my gastric. they said its too sour. Came to oz n continue to have it everyday. Then after i came to BNE, i discover the greek yoghurt is actually so yum. But about late last yr or so I slowly cut down n actually stopped. However,after my France trip, it triggers me again. Miss their yoghurts..so nice. Now i'm back with my yoghurt craze, had a nice mix berries greek one (think n creamy) @ DFO, bought a yoplaits 6 pack at Kenneth's place..and i've a fav brand..cant remember the name at the moment, just can remember it has green packaging.. sorry..anyway i discovered another brand that is thick n creamy, dairy farmers.YUm.yes..sinful but i like. :P shall try other brands after i finish this tub (can be done soon cos its small not the 1kg). la la la... ^^

Its aug..!

wow!time really flies..its aug now n the little gals at my place are going back home this coming sun. Had a farewell dinner for them tonite, i did took photos but guess what?! 1 of them accidently deleted ALL my photos on my memory card. Nice one...too bad i didn't take any with my mobile. Really is a nightmare for all photographers when ur pix are ALL deleted. The gal was so sorry till i felt sorry for her. Nuts rite? wahah..no cos i'm such a nice person. LOL..*thick skinned virus* erm..keke..

We'd binjai, sweet n sour soup, spicy seaweed & 'wood ear' salad, and awww..my fav..dumplings! *slurp* So..Sorry all, no photos to share now. Hope i'll get a few photos for another gathering with my good/close frens tomorrow night :) Looking forward to it.

weather is warmer recently..ard 24deg in the day.Nice..lub it. How i wish i recover fast enough to enjoy the weather. My cold is back somehow (i sound so weird now), maybe cos of the drastic change of temperature. As usual, the cough is still around, will get some chuan bei pi pa gao tmr.

Recently, frens kept giving me boeing 777 when come to meeting up with them.I was given another boeing 777 today. 2nd one this wk..i hope there's no more this week. Crossing fingers for tmr one.

was reading the story of an anime which my sis had recommended me a looooong time ago. I had been listening to its OST (for a loooong time) n like it but its only until just, that i read the story. Its a nice one. My little is so sweet, she found the music score of the song i like for me. so nice...*muack muack*

Had realised my searching skill is getting bad..cant find what i want recently with the search engine. OH!! talking abt music score..*getting excited* I saw a WHITE baby grand piano for the past few days when i took the bus to the city. awww...lub it lub it..its so so nice. I always wanted a grand piano, will like to have one in my new home (next time) . Now technology has made digital grand piano possible too...sounds gd? ya..its easier to maintain too..BUT i guess i'll like the authetic sound, i wont mind if the digital sound super alike the traditional one. Guess the best ones will the concert grand piano. The music that the piano 'sings' is always sound so beautiful. Of cos, u also need to have the skill n talent to play it well. Even day dream, wont it be better if its transparent? but i guess i wont want it cos am afraid the sunlight will spoil the keys n its a bit weird. I even did a google for that piano i saw, but i can't find it (skill really getting bad)..instead i found other pretty white grand.. THis is one of them.. I like the cravings on the piano.

this is one that is in black but i like the leggings.. its the french style.erm..Oh..what is baby grand?..its a petite size of the grand/concert piano. Can see the diff? Baby grand is shorter in length. Here is a pic of the actual concert grand piano.. (credit to Kawai piano).

Pretty rite? super nice.. *self indulged*I first fell in lub with it was when i was 13/14yrs when i get to play on one which is in nice almond colour. Super nice feeling n sound too. So is the price. (oh..learn sth new abt me today).

ok enough of pianos..i just like it,will go on n on. Haven't been practising at all lately, esp after i sold off my keyboard.quite bad of me.erm..
