Forgot my Bib for the Cinema Studies assignment. Not forgot as in neglected to print a copy, forgot as in "Bib? What Bib?!". And only remembered about it 15 minutes prior to 4pm. >< Geez. I swear I've never been so traumatized about turning in a crappy piece of work before. (Oh wait. *Other* than the M&C Nike assignment... *nudges PCB* :p) Ended up having to *write* the goddam thing out. No one can really even begin to understand the horror of it all... I'm obsessively anal about such stuff. Having spent hours on the assignment proper doesn't help, either.

As always, retail therapy saved the day.

10am on a Sunday morning, the day before school reopens, and already I'm having Monday blues. That's how bad it is. Halfway through an assignment due tomorrow, and I can so forsee myself working til the wee hours of the morning in typical mugging fashion... and skip my 9am, *again*. Sheesh. When am I EVER gonna make it? It scares me sometimes. 7 weeks is NO joke, okay.

Unearthly hour to be up. For me, anyhow. Practically nocturnal nowadays (wake up at 5pm, sleep at 7am... how screwed up is that?). Supposed Op meeting for Keth, but nothing's even happening atm and my precious sleep time is being wasted. Or did I miscalculate? O.o

Just got back from a short trip up to Snowy Mountains. Nothing much to say, and nothing much not to say either. The place is a goddam hoax! I mean, if we had to pick a single word to describe the place, "HOAX" would be it. Non-existent berry farms, missing tourist attractions, fake weather forecasts... you'd have to have been there to even begin to understand the exasperation. And its not as if everything were 15 minutes away either... everything, and I mean *everything* was at least an hour to two hour ride away. Can't decide which was more hilarious... us thinking it was gonna be -2 'C and freezing (when it was actually hot to the extent of being able to wear a single tee... hey, we brought beanies and gloves okay?!), or driving 4 fucking hours to get to the famous ADVERTISED berry farm... only to find out, "Oh, its been closed for years now". Meh.

Horse riding rocked, though... literally! Suffered bruises almost everywhere below my waist, and couldn't walk properly for a couple of days. Some experience, still. And I got the pics to prove it. :> And then there was trout "fishing"... where yours truly spent the entire time by the lake untangling the bleeping line on my rod. Of course, nobody caught one at the lake anyway, so we ended up at the "sure-catch" pond. :p Wahhaha... took me all of 2 seconds to get a bite. Barbecued the thing, and ate it on the spot for lunch. Bought some really yummy dessert wines at a tasting session, too. That was it though, our "holiday" in its entirety. Wooo.

And apparently I *did* miscalculate. Meeting was an hour ago. MEH. >_<

Sigh. Back to watching Metropolis for the 5th time in 3 days now. Their hand gestures drive me crazy.

And how I lust
For the dance and the fire,
Deep of the nectarine sunset to drink,
Spill me the wind, and its fire,
To steal of the colors within.

Creative Writing: First Assignment

*God*, was it a royal PITA.

Constructive criticism is welcome, if any. Would like to know if anyone got the point of the piece.
