NEW BLOG

Sabrina the Ribenaberry has migrated to a new blog. That explains why I haven't been blogging here thus far. Didn't announce it too because I am still figuring out how to make use of certain functions in my new blog. :) But I decided that I'll reveal my new URL here after all, so.... Feel free to catch up with the continuation of Ribenaberry's story at http://ribenababe.multiply.com :)

SMILEY CUSHION

One of the very last gifts I received in 2006 during cell group thanksgiving on 30 Dec. A big Moriji cushion!! It has a smile on its face like many of my other soft toys... so it's always happy. And when I look at it, I feel happy too. :) Posted by Picasa
LUCY'S LAST DAY

29 Dec 2006 was Lucy's last day at work.

Lucy was my team partner in Strength Works for the past 9 months. She had been a great help to me, especially in logistics and contribution of ideas for groupwork. Can't imagine how I would have coped without her. She came in at the time when manpower was needed the most. In the course of time, things began to stabilize and we did have an enjoyable time during our Bintan work retreat.

Well, she had been thinking of taking a break to rest, and so would focus on her degree programme and exams early next year. Will miss her and the times we worked together. Posted by Picasa

MORE CHRISTMAS GIFTS...

This is from my usher ministry section leader, Huiming

When I opened it up, I was pleasantly surprised to see packets upon packets of Hello Kitty tissue paper!!! Oooh, I love Hello Kitty stuff!

There were also Hello Kitty stickers, a Hello Kity pointer that can be used during PowerPoint presentations, and a little green Hello Kitty box! (A pity the pic here is a bit blur)... and oh, that Christmas card on the left is from Meiling, Gary and Jayden :)

Mei and her family also gave me this medium-sized Doraemon!

Standing alone on solid rock (in this case, it's a stool) hee hee...

No worries, Big Doraemon has got company! Small Doraemon is here too! Like father and son mah??

Isabel gave me Mickey Mouse chocolates all the way from USA! :) My usher team IC Juliana made the blue santa card for me! Another friend from usher ministry Rachel gave me the yellow Christmas note. And the rest are from my cg members Wanli and Estee. :)

Last but not least... the cup is from my friend Yina who attended Svc 4... The green packet of candies from Jinyi (another cg member)... the other candy gift from Shimin... and the cute Piglet soft toy from Alicia! Posted by Picasa
CHRISTMAS EVE 2006

This year, I spent Christmas Eve at my brother's place. He cooked dinner for me and my parents! Haha, he's been having a bit of practice here and there, trying out dishes for a couple of months already... and he's proud to present us his very own home-made curry chicken!

Seldom see such a large honey-baked ham! Well, this one he ordered from NTUC hee...

He fried this xiao bai cai with shitake mushrooms

He also ordered roast beef and made fishball & carrot soup. The pets join in the fun too (minus the food).

Pixie in his comfy playpen

This sweet, pink cross pendant is from my sis-in-law :) She bought the pendant and other accessories and strung it up herself

Doraemon milk pack from my brother! Haha, so excited... he really knows me well...

Inside the milk pack is this huge milk mug, lid and stirrer! Woh! Enough for me to drink 2 portions of Milo :) Posted by Picasa
