Venice anyone?

On the drive home from school today Alex said "Mom I wish God would have made water in the city so we could drive boats instead of cars".

So I told him of a magical city called, Venice. Venice is a city where the streets are paved with water, where we don't pollute the Earth with car exhaust, a city where if you don't have a boat you better learn how to swim!!! Then I came home and showed him some pictures. I told him one day we could visit this magical city... Hey maybe we could live there since it needs a population boost due to the aging residents.
But whatever we do we had better do it fast because one day this city may be completely submerged in water... Then I guess we'd have to snorkel to the grocery store!

Viva Delton Lanes!

Daniel decided he'd like to celebrate his old manly-ness by going bowling, what an old man thing to do! He even stuck his head in the ball-o-shine... Wait wrong story. Anyway we all packed up and headed to Delton lanes for some fabulous bowling fun! Alex was a crack up! Every time he threw the ball he would fall flat on his tummy... Every time! I think he was onto something though, because he bowled better than I did... I kept looking longingly at his and Grandma's lane .. They had the bumpers up... That definitely would have helped me out!!! Overall we had some good bowling times!

Look Mom! I'm shaving!

Uncle Nic & his girlfriend Laura gave Alex a Spongebob hygiene kit for Christmas (they must think he smells!). Today in the tub Alex decided to try it out "This is fun mom!". After he meticulously shaved his face... He decided he needed something else to shave.. His legs?? Yes my son shaved his legs! The funniest part is that he thinks it's fun! Ugh... I hate shaving.. I wish I thought it was fun. Maybe I need a Spongebob hygiene kit to bring back my love of shaving!

HELLO!

Hi it's me... I thought I would have time to keep you all updated on my SUPER exciting life.. But now that I am out of school I prefer to spend my time reading & playing with Alex!! So here's a brief synopsis of what we're been up to!!

-Temple square with Washington Skeens & Utah County Skeens
-Christmas party with my AWESOME friends!!
- Going to Lo's drill competitions
-Visiting Santa at the Road home
