Yay! We're going to Swan Valley tomorrow! I'm so excited! And the both of us are clever people. Haha! We had the best idea for lunch tomorrow. =) So fun! I hope it does turn out fun though. I mean, which 70 people going together, it's going to be hell. And what if there's some people who don't welcome my existence... You know what I mean. But it's ok. I don't care for all that.

Earth Hour was spent on the grass, star gazing. I like Earth Hour. I feel like I'm doing something good. And from tomorrow onward, daylight saving is over! Which means, we're back to the same time as SG. No more confusion.

Pictures!

Random Tree Shot. And I wasn't the photographer. Hehe.

Sunrise at the beach. We had to get up at 0600. But it was worth it. =)

We went sailing at Mills Point. Here's Marcus and I on the boat.

That's me busy steering and controlling the sail. It was real fun!

Okay, she wrestled the rope from me for a while.

Tsk tsk! How relaxing can she be when I'm steering?
But we had fun nonetheless. =D
We had an Easter Egg Hunt in Vickery House (that' where I stay). Here's the 6 out of 8 of us after the hunt. Well, our shadows...

And we won the Egg Hunt! Yay to Unit 33! Here's our wonderful prizes which we made it into an altar for the night. Within a couple of hours, half of the chocolates are in our tummy. We're thinking of leaving the huge ass egg in the box there till we move out at the end of the year... But, I don't think it's going to happen!

The Busiest Weekend Ever!

I swear this weekend was the longest weekend ever. I didn't have enough time to sleep, to clean my room or even to do my homework.

On Friday, after school, I rushed to cook hash browns for pot-luck at Pia's place. And then we hung out till about 0130 before Jeremy gave me a lift home.

The very next morning, I had to get up to go grocery shopping with Cindy at Karawara. I ended up spending quite a bit on chocolates since Easter is coming. Yay! So many offers available, but not good on the wallet and the tummy. We then had an early lunch at Chilliz where I enjoyed my Honey Chicken Rice thoroughly. Subsequently, I rushed back to stuff my groceries into the fridge before travelling to South Perth Tennis Center to play tennis (recommendation from school). I got a little lost on the way there, but thank goodness I manage to find the place in the end. Most of the players were in their 40s and 50s, but they still can run! I didn't really enjoy myself though, but perhaps I'm still lost that's why. Rushed home again for quick dinner before going to Riverton Bridge to star gaze with Pia, Jeremy, Brandon, Jaclyn, TomTom, Peter and a whole lot more of people. After freezing our asses of for about 2 hours, we decided to warm ourselves up at Fast Eddies. Before I knew it, I was home at about 0130, again.

This is probably the craziest thing I've done since I arrived in Perth. The whole bunch of us woke up at 0600 to go to Scarborough beach before church. The winds were so freaking cold that I changed my mind to go into the water upon arriving there. But it was nice to see the sunrise and watch the guys surf and body-board. I should consider getting a body-board myself.
We then had breakfast in the car before rushing off to church, where we arrived sandy. Hehe. After lunch, I was mad enough to go play tennis with Peter James, Brandon and Ray. Crap! 4 gus and one tired girl. I was seriously dead by the end of it and it took me 2 days to get myself back up on track. I'm never doing this again. Sigh... My body's getting old.

The Complications of This World

We are living in a very complicated world. It is so complex that I can’t seem to fathom people close to me. Is it that difficult?

School was draggy today. I cheered up a lot last night thanks to the beautiful people around me. Without them, I don’t know how I would have gotten through this. I am so grateful for their support and encouragement. However, the thought of an English essay test and human biology class at the end of the day makes everything so mundane. This English test was... Interesting. It is the first time that I have done an essay test with the question given out a day before for you to prepare. Of course, I have classmates who went to memorize their essays. I really admire their memory skills, for I definitely do not have the memory power to do that.

I actually did enjoy human biology class today. The lecturer did a bisection of a cow’s eye. It was pretty disgusting and somehow I felt sorry for the cow. The eye actually looked like a wonton. Sheesh! I don’t think I am going to touch wontons for a couple of weeks! And, we went on to study the ear. Cool stuff! While the content of the lesson was interesting, the company was not so appealing. I did not know how to react to certain people. Even though I vowed not to be someone with 2-faced, I somehow am behaving that way. Sigh. I need to change.
