I NEED A HOLIDAY! Mommy and daddy are unfortunately too busy to get away. I’m not blaming them, but if it weren’t for some people, everything would have been much better. In life, there is drama. This slogan for the Hallmark Channel is so true…

Talking about television, I found another really great show. It’s called Veronica Mars, which stars Kristen Bell. Her acting is indeed superb, just like in The King and Queen of Moonlight Bay. I feel that she’s one of the few artistes that isn’t given due attention for her works, unlike the Pussycat Dolls. They stopped Veronica Mars for 8 weeks just to broadcast the reality show featuring those ‘dolls’. However, she’s seems to be doing more Broadway projects then for the black box, so that’s probably the reason why she isn’t getting enough recognition.

Condolences to all families and friends of the Virginia Tech Massacre. It’s a shame that so many lives were lost in this unfortunate incident.

It sucks getting back to training after so long. Thankfully, Sunday’s session was much better. Unfortunately, mom wants me to concentrate on ‘other things’. Talking about mom, she’s making yogurt now. I hope everything turns out fine as I will have to be the guinea pig later on. I’m keeping my fingers crossed, and pray that the fermentation process will turn out just nice.

I had driving on Monday, after a really really long time. I’ve either became rusty or was influenced by Chin’s fast driving. The instructor has his feet at the brakes all the time. I’m not sure if he usually does this, or if it’s just me. He even rushed to the lavatory right after my session! Haha! Personally, I don’t really like him even though he is my assigned instructor. For the past few times, I opted to get a variety of instructors to learn the different styles of teaching. The previous 3 of them were very nice and friendly. As for this, he’s so rude that when I greeted him ‘bye’, he just stalked off. Or perhaps he was just in a hurry to go to the washroom.

I met Auddie for lunch yesterday at Friends @ Serangoon Gardens (My favourite place). It so happened that both of us took the same bus with the creepy bus captain. It was great catching up and hearing how she antagonized this 17 year-old boy on the train. Haha! And here’s our dear friend, where the teacup covered her face. Hehe.

I think there are a couple more of pictures to upload, but unfortunately my fussy haven’t sent them to me yet. =( Hopefully fussy sees this shout out here. Haha!

It has been such a crappy week. I’m down with the flu, again. And this time, the virus is out to get me. Worst still, the crappy doctor’s medicine isn’t working on me. I’ve completed my course of antibiotics, the cough mixture and the cold medicine. But I still feel as shitty as ever.

I even had to play my tournament in a shitty state. I got a walk-over for my first round singles match, which was good as I had a doubles match an hour after my singles match was to be done. But it was such a pity. I would have liked to play Tessa as I don’t like winning without putting up a fight. As for doubles, it was seriously such a waste. I had always thought that Japanese were honorable people, but not anymore. Chelsea and I played two Japs. Throughout the match, there were so many dubious line calls that we even had to get the referee in. to our dismay, he was unwilling to umpire the match for us. Both sides even had problems with the tie-break where we disagreed on the score. When we had come to a compromise, I offered my hand but the just stalked off. Thank goodness the referee saw that and made them come back to shake my sweaty palm. Haha! Dad started paying more attention to the line calls. He noticed that in the third set, I had a couple of ‘in’ shots, whereas the bloody Japs called them out. I was so pissed when I heard that. I swore if I weren’t ill, I would have given them a punch in the face, especially when Chelsea and I lost the match. Imagine if the line calls were made accurately, the outcome of the game would have been different. According to some coaches (I shan’t mention who), this duo is notorious for their line calls. We should have been more careful and persistent during the match.

My route to the finals in my singles match ended today. I shouldn’t have played in my current condition. My five senses aren’t even functioning properly and now I’ve picked up a couple of injuries as well. The ball deflected from my racket and it hit my jaw. Nasty wound. It was so painful that I actually cried. Sheesh! I didn’t even cry when I had four teeth extracted from my jaw when I was 12. But honestly, it was really, really painful. Furthermore, it was bleeding so badly that when I spat some ‘fluids’, everything was red. It seems pretty serious. I’ve managed to close up the wound on my jaw, but for the one on my inner lip, it seems pretty deep. Up till now, it’s still bleeding. Hopefully whatever ice I have is able to close that deep wound. Everything is made worse when I played the worse game that I have played in two years tonight.

On the bright side, I’m not working anymore, for now. My one-month stint as a customer service officer at this workshop in Sin Ming is over. I can now concentrate on what I would like to do. However, it was such a pity to leave behind the people working there. I’ve made some very good friendships there. Everyone has been very nice to me. It was such great fun working together. These are pictures of some of my ex-colleagues.
This is a candid shot taken by Chin (my supervisor), who was having fun with my phone. The person in the picture is Jasmine.

This is Helen. Again, Chin is having fun. Haha! (P/S: The guy in the background is a very irritating customer. And he stinks too)

Finally! It was my time to have some fun with my phone. I caught Chin in this 'auntie going to the market' pose while he was going to wash his car! Hehe! =D

Goodness! I'm really how shocked at how some people wear such sloppy clothes for an interview. It may be a temporary job, but still, give some respect! Haha! Gosh! I'm in such a bad mood these few days. Tournament's on Sunday, and I think I'm coming down with flu. GREAT!

My last day of work is this Saturday. Honestly, it has been such a wonderful experience working here. Everyone has been nice, and some have even been rather protective of me. Haha!

Kimmy: Yup! She said thank you. She had a good time, both for her eyes and her mouth, but my pocket... Haiz... Haha! I hope your mom had a memorable birthday too! =D
