Pictures and Things: June

We spent an afternoon at IKEA and the aquarium.  Malcolm wouldn't eat the yellow carrots because they weren't what he was used to.  I got him to try one, and he said it was good.  When I tried to get him to eat the rest, he refused.  Kids!

Getting so brave at the park!  He went down this tube slide all by himself more than once.  He's been too scared to venture down dark slides until now.  It was even his idea!

The garden is coming along!  I'm loving my new hoe.  It makes weeding so easy.  Our garden never looked so good so regularly.

Mirror selfie on the patio!

Who's eyes are bigger?

A long awaited date night.  Out on the motorcycle again.  This time to Texas Roadhouse and a movie, The Edge of Tomorrow.

These next ones are from an afternoon we spent down in Utah County at Laura's house.  Brenna and her kids, Laura and her kids, and us had a hike and a picnic up Provo canyon.  It was hot and we didn't make it far.  The kids had fun throwing rocks in the creek, though.

One day after a run on the parkway, I gave Mal the option of either playing on the playground, or in the volleyball pit sand.  He opted for the sand.  No one loves playing in the dirt as much as this kid.

Charming her daddy during Sunday School.

First try of solid food!  She really liked it and is starting to get the hang of keeping at least some of it in her mouth.

Elliot is such a TV watcher.  Doesn't matter what it is, she'll watch it.  Here she is being a couch potato while watching the TV I was watching while folding laundry.

For Andrew's birthday, we headed down to Orem again.  Denali and Malcolm played in the little kiddie pool and had a blast!  Then we had dinner, and cake and ice cream.

Andrew's shoes I painted for him.  Zions National Park!

She looks like a little monkey staring out the window.

Getting together my packing list for our trip!

At the aquarium.  We pretty much go every other week.

I tried to get him to do a big shark mouth like me.  He just kept saying, "Look at those teeth, mommy!"

Almost got it Elle, almost.

At the nieghbors house while I was at work.  That's the neighbor boy, Tucker.

Sent to me while at work too.  Too cute!

Traffic these days!

First fruits from our garden!

Stacia was in town, so we got together with those of us that were available.  It was so fun to catch up with everyone and see everyone's kids.  Miss these ladies.  It's amazing how we well we still get along and click back into our old friendships when we all get together. I could seriously talk for hours.  All night long, at a sleep over like back in the day!

Sunday nap in Grandma's living room.

Ha ha ha ha!  While out running errands.

Taking selfies while Malcolm sleeps.

I finally broke out the cloth diapers!  Elliot has been too small, so I delayed starting them.  Now she's almost too big for the little ones!  I love that I can use prefolds on her because unlike mal, she doesn't poop 5 times a day and get it on the elastic of the cover.  I only have 4 covers so I'd have only 4 diaper changes before I had to wash them.  It was lame.
Putting on a bow!  Daddy doesn't love them.  I love that she's grown into it enough that it doesn't look so silly anymore.  I had  a friend on Instagram say this looks like a carpet ad.
